I used many alternatives to Hubspot Marketing Hub prior to being hired for a company that was already using Hubspot. I didn't think Hubspot Marketing Hub would be as good as the other marketing automation tools I've used in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Pros

Very streamlined, efficient, easy to use, not overly complicated.

Cons

It's difficult for marketing to budget for the price of Hubspot Marketing Hub when the pricing is based on the number of contacts in Hubspot, and the number of contacts in Hubspot isn't controlled solely by marketing. We sometimes encounter limitations with email design in the WYSIWYG editor.

Pros

Easy to export data and good entry level pricing, especially considering all of the available features such as automation for email management

Cons

Customer support could be better, as well as the overall ease of use with the user experience, navigation, and design flexibility

HubSpot Marketing makes campaigns as seamless and easy as possible - having everything in one platform makes sure your data is connected and you can measure attribution across the lifecycle. I’ve found Marketing Hub speeds up processes so that you can spend more time on the creative side and less on the distribution.

Pros

Easy to use, flexible, connected to CRM, out of the box functionality across social/blog/email etc. all in one for centralized marketing campaigns

Cons

Marketing contacts pricing structure can be confusing and some things are additional costs but you get that with most platforms

Great One-stop-SaaS to cover a large variety of Marketing, Inbound and CRM topics. More suitable for a larger enterprise in my opinion.

Pros

Great variety of tools to keep interaction with customers on a high level, great availability of 3rd party tools to connect & automate processes.

Cons

As always, prices could be cheaper, especially for a team of significant size. This is the only "least" like thing.

We use Hubspot for multiple content and marketing strategies and our team has found it to be a really robust tool for both internal and external marketing.

Pros

The ease of importing and managing contacts!

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve to using it and it could be more-cost friendly for startups. While the user-interface is nice, some things aren't intuitive in the way they are connected or how they need to be completed in order to perform certain automations.

Cons

I think it is expensive for smaller teams. There can be some learning curve with some of the tools as well.

Pros

HubSpot is an all in one platform that is suitable for any business - large or small. It’s easy to get started and easy to integrate with multiple platforms. The help section is great and it’s not a steep learning curve.

Cons

Most of the important features other than the basic CRM and messaging are in the pro package which can be expensive.

Hubspot helps us manage our campaigns, all in a one unique platform. Getting the hang of it was easy. Its clear interface, some dashboards, the workflow automation, easy integration with other HubSpot tools ou external.

Cons

We didn’t know that we had to spend so much. Also not easy to do without the scoring tools, the A/B tests and more.

Overall I have has a great experience with Hubspot Marketing. I do a mixture of operations and marketing duties during my day and my experience in the marketing module has helped me in areas of operations as well. The social content scheduling aspect of it has been seamless!

I love being able to manage all of my email templates and social content in one place. I also love using the social feature to pre-schedule all of my social media content on various different platforms.

Cons

I wish there was more customization options when it comes to email templates. Feel somewhat limited on the design elements for email templates.

Generally my experience has always been great using hubspot. It literally does what it says on the tin, a suite of marketing tools designed to help you manage your leads and customers.

Pros

Hubspot makes it easy to create tailored lists for communicating to and managing customers. Their platform is simple to use and provides all the tools for an effective crm.

Cons

Using hubspot for free can be limiting, but understandably, they don’t want to give everything away for free.

Pros

Before using HubSpot Marketing Hub, my team had difficulties in their collaboration across various content types. What I especially enjoyed was having landing pages, e-mail templates and SEO tips under one campaign so we can always see which piece was performing.

Cons

Integration to external CRM systems did not allow for lead scores and contact properties to be synchronized well. There were difficulties in polling specific custom behavioral properties back and forth without additional tools to implement or update them by hand.

It's still better than other all-in-one enterprise marketing/sales suites, but it feels like each feature is basically worse than cheaper providers.

Pros

You can have the entire picture in a one platform. You can easily see your marketing efforts becoming leads and opportunities in the CRM. The integration with Ad Platforms is pretty handy, and then the value that comes from that attribution. Although, what's a bit wack is the lack of support for new types of ad campaigns like Google's Performance Max.

Cons

The WYSIWYG (drag and drop) marketing email builder is terrible. The styles are a mess. Sometimes the editor doesn't work at all, and I have to edit elements directly in the source code. Actually even tough it's way more expensive than alternatives, it's way worse, and it takes much more time for sending our marketing emails in comparison to cheaper alternatives.

Hubspot beautifully merges all the functions of a marketer's role into on comprehensive suite that is well integrated.

Cons

Hubspot does many things very well, but is not the best tool at any one task. It's a compromise but having a one-top-shop/hub is invaluable.
