Pros

Easy to use, activities-based marketing platform. Powerful contact management. Email marketing with great delivery subscription management. Easy to create landing pages and lead generation forms.

Cons

While it can be a bit expensive it can pay for itself if effectively used.

Exceptional. Great product matched up with excellent service. We will be partners for a long time.

Pros

The flexibility and ease of use. HubSpot does a great job offering many API connections and add-ons. It's a fairly intuitive platform, as well.

Cons

The amount of updates and changes can break something that was never an issue before. We use a lot of templates and tweak them. In doing so, we test a few times a year to ensure functionality and appearance are OK. Sometimes a code will get buggered up or the template we commonly use has a slight variation. Nothing major but if I had a complaint - that would be it.

Reason for choosing HubSpot Marketing Hub

The salesperson did a great job selling the product and services. The product is very customizable and allows for great flexibility. The Sales Team's promises were backed up with actual results - not many companies can say that today, unfortunately.

Tons of features, tons of functionality, tons of opportunities to leverage to drive growth.

Cons

Difficult to get started, so many options it can be overwhelming at times. Don't always know where to start or how best to implement and support team is good but not ALWAYS available.

### "Handy with its WordPress plugin"

For our websites built with WordPress, HubSpot acts as a CRM along with email marketing software (Moosend) we use. We use CRM for embedding live chat buttons, forms on our websites. Moosend does not have forms and live chat button feature. Leads generated through live chat button and forms are vital in our email marketing endeavors.

Pros

For our websites built with open source WordPress, we find HubSpot plugin handy. It actually helps us take marketing to the next level. Armed with forms and live chat button, HubSpot integrates with Moosend email marketing software through Zapier.

Cons

Hubspot is a powerful marketing tool, and right now, I do not have any dislike.

We are able to communicate with our donors and clients so well through HubSpot, it's vastly improved how we work over the last few years.

Pros

I love how simple it is to use, and how it combines so many features so well. We can also integrate HubSpot with some of our other systems, such as Salesforce, which helps us track contacts and test new performance ideas.

Cons

Occasionally, they make a change and don't explain why. For example, recently the numbers in our social media tracking changed, shrinking our numbers by a few thousand. They explained the new number to be more accurate but I'd been checking the numbers multiple times a month for a year previously and all seemed accurate.

Great product that just takes longer than you'd think to set up.

Pros

We love how easy it is to monitor social media conversations and schedule posts. It's simple to duplicate posts among our different social media platforms quickly.

Cons

It was very slow to implement and I was not impressed with Hubspot onboarding. I wish I could get social media monitoring alerts via email in realtime.

It can get really confusing at times. It took long frustrating hours attempting to work with this software. It was definitely not simple.

We are a small marketing team and this software has helped us deliver very successful lead generation campaigns and results.

Pros

The knowledge base, the tutorials and Hubspot academy all of them are of great help during the deployment of your campaigns. You get to have landing pages, blogs, CTAs, forms, tracking codes, and all you need for your marketing strategy to work.

Cons

Pricing is high, and it will rise according to the success of your campaigns, with more contacts on your database, you'll need to upgrade to a bigger plan.

Pros

Hubspot marketing hub helps one to work on important things as it takes take of the less important tasks effortlessly. Big fan of their support system. Sharing of ownership is an indeed useful feature.

Cons

Flexibility of contracts needs to be really looked. Reporting is also limited. It would be better if we can alter the templates

I've used HubSpot for many years and at several companies, and it's always the first platform I recommend for a new startup.

Pros

I love having a one-stop-shop for everything I have to keep track of as a marketer, rather than trying to deploy and manage multiple tools. The documentation, support, and resources available are exhaustive and top notch.

Cons

It's very user friendly, but sometimes it feels to restrictive with unexpected limitations, but nothing so far that has been a dealbreaker.

HubSpot makes it incredibly easy to segment audiences, send email communications, build optimized blogs & landing pages, administer ad campaigns, develop nurture automation, and manage our various marketing strategies overall. It makes data easily accessible and gives us much more visibility through our lead generation funnel than we had ever had before.

Cons

With some rapid development going on there are occasional stability issues. These are largely few and far between, but our work has been impacted by service outages twice in the last 12 months. Not a deal breaker, but I would like to see greater stability as the product continues to mature.

Really pleased we made the investment as it has enabled us to get closer to having a singular customer view across the whole business.

Pros

Segmentation is good and having the ability to create workflows based off behaviours and customer intent has really helped. The drag and drop email tool makes life super easy with little trainman required for the team. Slowly starting to use the calendar more and having the ability to track full campaign performance has been amazing from a reporting perspective.

Cons

Lack of interactive elements at the moment to add into the email - having the ability to play video from an email without clicking away would be amazing.

### "Hubspot by far the most complete marketing platform available"

I have been using Hubspot since 2006, ten years, and the company has continually improved their platform with each year. The primary reasons why I use Hubspot is 1) the ease of use in hosting a website, blog, landing pages, emails, and 2) the analytics you get down to the individual which enables a marketer to optimize performance of marketing initiatives. Previously, in order to recreate the same capabilities with wordpress, I would have to assemble a set of tools, all with their own analytics and user models. I truly believe marketer's are more efficient and effective with Hubspot.

Pros

Efficient for marketers, effective for executing marketing campaigns, best analytics to determine which parts of your marketing are working and which ones are not. Capable of performing all digital marketing tasks. It also is very secure and fast platform for website hosting.

Cons

lowest cost useable configuration is ~$450/month - however you come close to that once you assemble point tools to achieve the same capability.

My favorite feature in hubspot is the prospecting sequences tool. I use this for planning outreach and automating many of the tasks that used to require manual work.

Cons

Integration to our CRM. It is custom and breaks frequently. Not sure that this is a hubspot issue but it’s frustrating.

Overall, we use Hubspot to create landing pages without needing the help of a developer, and to create automatic emails workflows (for example, the onboarding automatic emails that are sent to new users to help them know the app, its features and our company itself). As a sidenote, we are also using the free version of Hubspot CRM to manage our database of influencers and keep track of our exchanges with them.

Pros

Hubspot Marketing Hub offers a series of tools that almost any digital business need, and they're integrated between themselves offering even more features and analytics. Once your developer has it implemented into your website, you won't need her again for the most common marketing tasks. This alone is one of the major benefits of Hubspot, because in your day-to-day operations you want to have as few bottlenecks as possible.

Cons

While the integrations between tools are awesome, I feel that they alone could be better. One example for this is the landing page creator, which really needs a revamp to be fully flexible. On the other hand, Hubspot can be pricey: I'm pretty sure that you can have much cheaper options if you use a competitor's tool for every tool that Hubspot has (but you'll lose the integrations between them)

At my earlier organization, we had migrated from Pardot to HubSpot in 2013, and since then we have seen great transformation in terms of quality of marketing leads. The tool is really easy to use and has tons of nice features. Dashboards are insightful. As we talk, we use Hubspot for forms, landing pages, social media posting, email campaigns and keyword tracking. Everybody says content is the king, and Hubspot is the ideal tool to do content marketing.

Pros

It has so many add-ons which increase its functionality. It helps in creating a personalized and automated marketing campaign. Using this, we can track all the marketing activities and manage all social accounts under one plateform.

Cons

Its professional and enterprise subscription is too costly. Its custom reporting does not respond sometimes. Also, its customer support is poor other than that, it is better than its competitors.

Pros

We love that Hubspot automates our marketing processes and gives us insights into what's working and what's not working! It's easy to set-up and the training and support are second to none. The hype may be about new features like Chatbots but my favourite part of the suite is the CRM. It's a CRM that sales people actually like to use as it makes their lives easier. Which is rare in a CRM

Cons

There's no denying that the full suite is expensive. It's an investment worth making if you're serious about sales and marketing and want to grow. But people shouldn't underestimate that ongoing effort needs to be made to get full value from it.

I have to say that I really enjoy using HubSpot for marketing automation. I’ve been super impressed with the functionality and how much I can do with my email marketing using their software compared to other solutions out there. It’s definitely worth every penny and I look forward to using it more in the future.

Pros

The workflow builder is incredibly easy and is probably one of my favorites out there. If you are someone who has to build a long and complex workflow with lots of triggers, HubSpot is for you. Their email template builder is also great and it gives you a lot of freedom to customize the modules without coding. You do have the option to customize CSS if you like. Also, the dynamic content (or smart content) function in the email editor is awesome. I had to create a series of emails for a client that had anywhere from 4-6 variations with different images and text, and they were super easy to set up within just one email. Additionally, I love how many custom properties you can build. If your business requires a lot, the. HubSpot is perfect.

Cons

As much as I love the template builder, it’s not intuitive and takes some time getting used to. Another thing I found challenging was creating a CTA button. I found it frustrating that when I duplicated an email, the CTA button was still linked to the original email campaign so I had to go through the process of creating a new one. That also took some time getting used to
