Overall, I like HubSpot and will continue to use it as my business grows. I know that it will grow with my and has features I can use when the time is right.

Pros

I like that is starts with the free service to use and allows to upgrade when needed.

Cons

It is not as user friendly as I had hoped. It’s harder to navigate than a couple other CRMs I’ve used before.

I think there are a lot of other features that I don't even use or know about, which could be super beneficial. In the marketing emails they send me, they do say it is always 100% free to use Hubspot, which would be amazing especially for small businesses such as ours.

Pros

I mainly use this software as an add-on in my Google (gmail) account where it notifies me when someone opens and reads my emails.

Cons

They do send weekly spam emails regarding marketing tips and information, which could be annoying, but I usually just ignore them.

We used it for about a year and a half, but overall it just wasn't worth the pricetag.

Pros

It was nice that everything was in one place as far as email, landing pages, etc. All organized, but there are much better products out there that focus on just the one thing that they do and then you can integrate them and use them together rather than paying Hubspot for all everything in one place.

Cons

It is too expensive, and there are much better products out there that focus on just the one thing that they do such as using wordpress and mailchimp together, etc. rather than having your website and emailing all under hubspot and paying lots of money.

Pros

This is an all in one tools for starters and seniors. Everything you need to have for a great user "connected" website.

Cons

A little complicated to setup, but if you follow all the steps and tutorials you will have it running in no time.

So far my experience has been okay. It seems as if you aren't utilizing HubSpot's version of everything (landing pages, blog, ads, social media, etc.), it is hard to track everything back to the CRM which is a MAJOR limitation. Especially with the limitations of not being able to afford an Enterprise account.

Pros

Everything is all in one place (CRM and Marketing)

Cons

Emails are not very easily customizable since you have to use both the design manager and the email manager to create a single email if a variation of a current template is needed. Not just a simple HTML upload like ExactTarget. Not able to customize things the way we need since all of the features are only available on Enterprise for an astronomical cost per month. We are a small budget organization with an enterprise structure. HubSpot won't work with you on lowering the cost.

I am a small website owner and I am using this tool for about 5-6 months now... I must say that it really helped me with my email marketing. that gives me full analytics about what the subscribers in my email list are up to, which is really great. So overall my experience is great except for the price as it is costly but it's worth your money!

Pros

The things I like the most about this tool/software are you get everything in a single place like: 1. Website Builder 2. Email Marketing Automation 3. Search Engine Optimization / Keyword Research Tool 4. Analytics Dashboard 5. Social Scheduling HubSpot is much more than just email marketing automation. HubSpot is marketing automation with the automated intelligence that connects your sales and marketing in an efficient and easy way. The dashboard gives a complete and clear picture of your website traffic and conversions on your landing pages and your forms. It is very simple to understand as compared to Google Analytics.

Cons

HubSpot is expensive so if you're a solo entrepreneur it's going to seem pricey however when you consider all that it does in the amount of time that you'll save by not having to figure out all the different integrations.

Great so far. We're a small team, but this tool helps give us the backing of an agency and helps leads keep flowing in steady streams of follow up and communication with clients.

Pros

I love how hubspot were pioneers in the field of inbound marketing and were able to create an eco-system of tools that were integrated in one, which is this tool right here, their marketing automation platform.

Cons

Not much, i think that it helps you replace all the other stand alone tools that can be a hassle to manage when you're on the go. I even use their tool when working out on the treadmill - i will send emails, proposals, sort through my tasks and organize my daily workflow.

We learned a lot about how to better write blogs for optimization and were able to build several relationships with current clients that we found through the log of them visiting our site.

Pros

I love how much information you can get at a glance on the dashboards. Once you become familiar with the navigation, you can dig in and get specific, detailed information regarding your website's optimization, keyword rankings, and overall marketing strengths and weaknesses. From there, you can adjust your process for maximum marketing potential. On the sales end, you can monitor your website traffic, allowing you to follow the behavior of your website visitors to determine whether or not they are a potential customer, and using simple email template and scheduling tools, can set up communication to begin a conversation organically, and send follow-ups as needed.

Cons

Unless you have a larger staff or a full-time dedicated marketing or sales person/team, it is hard to utilize all Hubspot has to offer to the fullest. It certainly requires the proper attention and time dedicated to setting up processes and monitoring progress to know whether or not changes are needed.

It is must for every sales and marketing person in the field as it makes the work ten times easier. The automatic workflows are easy to understand and are downright amazing.

Pros

It is a centralized platform for sales and marketing as it has all the necessary tools available at one single platform. The campaign tracking is one of the best features as it enables its user to keep track of their specific campaigns and view the progress. The integration with the Outlook is very useful and the customer support is fantastic.

Cons

The user interface could use a little improvement. The pricing plans should be more flexible as the free version has very limited features.

Pros

As a designer who works directly with our marketing team, I think HubSpot is fantastic. Their unique HubL syntax is only slightly challenging to learn if you already have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and HubL makes it easy to create flexible, easy to use and understand templates where your marketing team can simply fill in the blanks. It's great to keeping branding consistent and ensure that your landing pages, emails, and more are professional and expertly designed.

Cons

HubSpot may not be the best for tracking and reporting if you're a software company that needs to track tens of thousands of users. The software also solely relies on email addresses to create unique contacts, which, again, may cause issues for software companies that may have multiple users/customers associated with a single email address. Definitely work with an implementation specialist to learn how HubSpot can help you and get started with HubSpot in your business.

One source for meeting all our marketing needs.

Pros

Hubspot COS is really good. Almost as flexible as wordpress besides a lot of tracking that you can do with the product. Used Hubspot Marketing with Maroon-ai's predictive plug-in and achieved almost 60% intent determination on prospects entering the funnel. Also HubSpots onboarding is good they helped customize our landing pages as per our requirements

Cons

Pricing is a little wrong. Need to have better pricing for mid market companies as the basic offering does not include much and the enterprise offering is very high. Easier integration to plug and play apps can help.

HubSpot Marketing Automation helps me to respond to clients and prioritize accounts based upon activity and interest, maximizing my work hours and ROI.

Pros

Sometimes I wonder if clients have viewed my emails and how often they have accessed them. Without requiring any confirmation on their end, HubSpot enables a notification if a client has opened an email and how often. This helps me to track interested and build a connection. I can manage this, as well as follow-up communications, from the HubSpot dashboard. It comes with a Gmail integration, a Chrome add-on, and a site.

Cons

I did have to invest some time learning how to navigate the dashboard , which is required for all new software, but I found their customer support very helpful for this. I wish there was a way to send notifications to my phone.

Pros

The ease of use. It is very intuitive and the guides they have available make learning the tool very easy. The learning curve is quick and there never seems to be a shortage of new features.

Cons

It can be tough at times to make sure all tracking is speaking correctly to Google products. But the support staff is always there to help

The email tool has been a godsend. Having analytics (things like opens and knowing who bounced) readily available to our sales team right on their contact profiles has done a lot to unsilo our process, which was previously keeping marketing email on Mailchimp. I love Mailchimp, but for a full-service CRM Hubspot is serving our needs much better.

Pros

As a marketing person I initially liked the ability to save filters in order to regularly export an updated contact list. The ability to create custom properties and have different column views specific to each user is also super valuable.

Cons

I wish more things were integrated when it comes to building email lists. I would like to be able to exclude certain recipients, for example, based on them having closed a deal. We could also use some way to measure our one-on-one email engagement prior to sending campaigns, as our customers do not always use CTA buttons and prefer to email one of our team members directly.

Good when we started but the longer we use the more expensive it gets, we are looking into other software like GoHighLevel.

Pros

I like how we can automate our emails using the marketing hub, but, since we downgraded to Started from Professional, we had so much limitation.

Cons

The cost, we had to downgrade from Pro to started because as a Startup company, we can't really afford it.
