I have been on Hubspot since the Foxboro days (2005). It was my first exposure to any marketing platform. Since, I have created a many sites on Hubspot. At my current company we do all things Hubspot; marketing, sales, client services, you name it! Since implementing "All Things Hubspot" my company has grown 30% year over year. Thanks Hubspot for contributing to my success. I can't imagine marketing without you.

Pros

Hubspot is very user friendly and intuitive. I love the fact that it continues to evolve as marketing evolves. It helps me stay up to date with best practices.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about Hubspot. I have only had a few instances where something breaks due to an update but that it is definitely not as bad as other platforms (Salesforce).

It was a great option to try but at the end we switched to another internal tool, away from the agency that worked with us. We may give it a chance in the future again.

Pros

It is complete and high quality, including all features needed for a 360 marketing campaign.

Cons

It may be expensive and require effort to setup and configure. Usually you will have an agency or similar Hubspot partner helping you set it up or doing training.

Pros

HubSpot's marketing automation platform is incredible for setting up and managing campaigns. It's easy to build emails and analyze the results, as well as segment lists down to very targeted sectors. The workflow tool is very easy to use and the visual representation is very helpful for someone who had no experience in this prior to using HubSpot.

Cons

The reporting platform could be more cohesive, but there have been updates since we have been using the platform and more are being pushed through all the time. I would love to see a tie-in for Google Analytics, since we use that platform quite heavily.

Marketing Automation and sales contact information all in one space! Easy to guide and navigate from one to the other.

Pros

I like that all marketing and sales information is housed in one site and easy to find and/or navigate. Templates are easy to set up and edit as well.

Cons

I believe it would be nice to be able to change the type of email or way the email is originally set up rather than having to "clone" the email to change from workflow email to non-workflow email, etc.

Pros

Hubspot is a great tool that can help you connect different data sources and track your customers' paths more accurately. And, of course, managing sales in the CRM system.

Cons

There is only one downside - the price. Higher plans are simply unattainable for a small business or startup.

Overall, Hubspot marketing hub is a good application. Forms are easy to design and embed in website pages. It can replace a couple of marketing tools easily. It's also easy to set up email sequences.

Pros

We use Hubspot's marketing platform to manage ADs on Linkedin & Facebook. We also use forms extensively to capture leads.

Cons

Initial setup takes some time but once it is done, everything works well. Landing pages can be improved further.

Cons

It is a bit of a learning curve for our new team members to learn, but at the same time I love the HubSpot Academy resources for learning the software and beyond.

I am starting marketing, and on the personal side, my blog. It helps grow when i can keep people interested, automated email, capturing said email when they hit the site, Facebook ad management, that ask helps. They have everything i need to grow my audiences.

Pros

Until I clicked into a blog post. After i read it, I looked around, and kept looking... And looking...... I just fired up my latest blog, and this is everything you could want to make it work. I'm still learning all the ways to use all of the amazing features, and that's on the free plan! Once i can swing it, I'm upgrading. And i never upgrade. Ever. They have it all, hosting, WP integrations, WP importing, automation, email marketing, I could go on. It is so awesome that you can start for free with all they give you, so it takes the pressure off of learning the ropes. I thank them profusely.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming at first, if I had been fresh to any of this, I'm sure it could have scared me off, but they have a help article for everything. I really have nothing to complain about at all

Simple. Free. They not only let you start for free, they give you a bunch of stuff free forever. None of the others do that . Not to this extent for sure. No free trial, just free.

Cons

I don't like that it was kind of difficult to learn how to automate processes within HubSpot workflow tools.

Hubspot is more than just a great sales and marketing software platform, it's a solution surrounded by the greatest knowledge sales and marketing hub (Hubspot Academy) and by the smartest and most helpful implementation, account manager, and support people in the business. Implementing Hubspot was the One-Two Punch our business needed. It aligned our sales and marketing efforts and delivers detailed sales and marketing metrics. We now have the needed information to manage the growth and success of our business thanks to Hubspot.

Pros

Ease of use. Sales and Marketing teams won't adopt a new platform that is difficult to use or adds more time to their day. Thankfully, Hubspot is so much easier to use than our prior CRM and Marketing tools our teams were excited to switch.

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but to implement a quality CRM and Marketing solution it takes time. Thankfully, Hubspot is there to help you along at every step of the journey. Make the most out of your time with the Hubspot team by implementing action items between calls - not during. As we discussed inbound strategies with Brittany, our dedicated Implementation Specialist at Hubspot, we made a point to put those items into action before the next scheduled phone call. This not only allowed us to review and tweak our own strategies, rather than discuss the specifics of general implementation, but we ended up with more time to discuss strategy and big-picture initiatives.

Pros

This is a great tool for generation of leads. We are using it for our Business development team. This has helped us greatly with SEO. We are managing emails, social media marketing, and content management in a single platform. The marketing dashboard provided has helped us greatly in keeping track of all the analytics.

Cons

When you click the "Support" button, you are always connected with salespeople who refuse to assist you. I think there should be some improvement with support. Also, SEO should get little automated.

If you have the budget to afford this product, use it without a doubt

Pros

It is the holy grail of marketing automation and sales enablement. This software package is more than just software, it's an invaluable resource for anybody that is using it.

Cons

The cost. I don't know what can really be done about that though. For the price, you are getting the best marketing/sales software possible, but its price point does prevent a lot of small businesses from investing.

With Marketing Hub we're able to manage all of our marketing efforts in one place, and this makes it one of the best marketing platforms I've ever used. The integration between Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Support make it the most collaborative tool for a start up of our size.

Pros

I particularly love the automation capabilities that come with the Marketing hub. Being able to very quickly set up workflows has made it a breeze to auto-email prospects/customers that come through our website.

Cons

Where I think there can be an improvement, is in the ability for a marketer to be able to easily design custom templates that fit the brand. I've struggled with finding a good template pack on their marketplace, and relying on firms for the build has not made it scalable to design beautiful emails.

I couldn't imagine doing some of the most basic, fundamentals of marketing without a software like HubSpot.

Pros

HubSpot's Marketing Automation is a real time-saver. You're able to easily create, edit, and optimize all of your marketing contenting with just a couple of clicks.

Cons

The only catch is that the integration between data tracking for each social media platform or outlet hasn't been completely worked out in HubSpot. If you truly want to track you content and interactions then you're going to have to go to each individual source that you're posting content to, as opposed to being able to do everything in HubSpot.

I love the way that HUBSPOT is evolving its user interface according to it's users' feedback. The best part is how they have transitioned into a learning hub and launched online certification for content marketing. This market-oriented evolution makes it extremely easy to implement and integrate their solutions with my business

Cons

The price for subscriptions is a bit on the higher end, but I believe that the quality of their product and services is worth it

Overall its very positive, great tool for marketers. Lots of supporting material to train yourself at making the most of the system too.

Pros

The most valuable thing is probably the fact that it combines a huge array of tools under one umbrella. And they keep adding new features. Live chat was the latest great addition, it can basically be switched on with couple of clips, not extra development time required.

Cons

The fact that it tracks the users with Cookies, which means same user coming to our website twice from different locations will not cause data problems. Equally 2 different users using same computer, have same issue.

Overall, it might be beneficial to invest in the Hubspot Marketing training to ensure there's a small learning curve to adjust to since creating more templates will take time; the forced contacts subscription is annoying, but overall it is a good tool to use to manage campaigns, segment data and create more opportunities.

Pros

This allows us to collect data on all of our marketing efforts as a company: campaigns, email clicks and open rates, and social media data. Then we can segment that data to identify additional/further opportunities.

Cons

You do need to pay for marketing contacts, and it is a required subscription, so they basically force you to pay for this. Recently they changed this to allow to pay for only contacts you are marketing to, but still. Creating templates can be time-consuming and there are only a few templates already created that you can edit to really get the ball rolling.

I've used a handful of other platforms and hands down, HubSpot has the best marketing platform out there. Their knowledgebase and user focus meetings keep me engaged and continuously at the forefront of best practices. I'm a better marketer because of HubSpot.

Pros

The UI, how intuitive it is, integration options, and how-to suggestions.

Cons

It does not integrate seamlessly with SalesForce. Customization is required on both ends to ensure that everything syncs appropriately. Even with customization, syncing errors can occur.

We generate and organize a lot of leads with this as well as have a central place to store and keep track of customer information. We use it every day and love it. Couldn't do business without it!

Pros

This is my absolute favourite software to use on a daily basis. The free features are amazing and you can get even more functionality out of paid versions. This is a must have even if you're just starting out to keep track of customers and run automated marketing initiatives.

Cons

Some of the features we need are wrapped in to other packages that we don't get with our paid plan, so if you want one feature specifically for example you would have to pay for the entire add-on suite.

Hubspot is extremely powerful, and can do just about everything a marketer could fathom. It handles social postings, design, file hosting, and provides usefull attribution data for campaigns.

Pros

Hubspot is constantly updating their product and alerting their users about new features. For our business that is a terrific quality, and keeps our marketing team in the know about new trends etc.

Cons

The editors for landing pages, and the design manager could stand to be modernized a bit.

Pros

It helped us manage efficiently the significant bulk of leads we are working with. Also, our sequences are easier to run now as Hubspot is in charge of it.

Cons

I'm still not sure how to answer this question but maybe the tracking capabilities of the tool are not as good as they seem to be.

The biggest pro of this tool is its free version. This software is able to identify potential customers and what they do on the company's website. When a potential client fills out a contact form for the company, the software extracts additional information of interest, which allows to establish their needs, offer useful offers and help to their particular need. It is a very useful tool to carry the database, visualize and manage interactions with customers.In a few words it can be said that HubSpot allows attracting more visitors to a website as well as the possibility of converting them to potential customers. .

Cons

One of the counter presents the software is that it has no tool to merge the information of the contacts of different companies. Another disadvantage, possibly the main one, is that the HubSpot does not present the option of adding several email addresses to a single contact record, which prevents the possibility of establishing communication with a potential client by more than one way, in the case that it is not possible to contact her for a particular one.
