HubSpot is something that I use on a daily basis for email marketing, social media marketing, Inbound marketing, maintaining our contact lists, designing and publishing landing pages, etc. Since we have transitioned to HubSpot I have not had to use any other software to get what we need.

Pros

HubSpot allows us to have everything we need for our marketing department all in one spot. It syncs well with Salesforce, which is what our sales department has been using.

Cons

I really do not have any Cons, as HubSpot is pretty much exactly what we need and is a good fit for our company. However, that might not be the case for every company or sales & marketing department. It can be pricey and if you are not using all of the tools it might not be the best option for you.

I love using hubspot for my tracking and biz information when I need to know when and how many times my emails are read.

Pros

Hubspot has saved my biz so many times. Keeping record of when my emails are opened and how many times, it has absolutely kept my clients accountable for being responsible for their own biz and our agreements.

Cons

It can kick me out of being logged in and I have to keep logging in. Very frustrating.

HubSpot has a decent CRM and useful marketing technology, but has a few buggy issues that could cause some hair pulling. Limited tracking on conversions is also a sour spot...

Pros

An intuitive to use platform that also includes free training on how to use the platform. Well integrated with their CRM and other platforms--but sometimes difficult to use. Expect to look for workarounds. Good 24/7 customer support.

Cons

Bugs on data imports and limited dashboard options. Limited tracking options for conversion attribution especially from emails--which you'd think HubSpot would specialize in.

Allowed us to market our business much more effectively. The automated posting feature allowed us to take advantage of peak posting times even when we are out of the office.

Pros

Easy to set up, even for those who aren't exactly tech-savvy. Tons of tools that allow you to manage promotions and view analytics. Customer service is also very knowledgeable and friendly!

Cons

The only real issue we have with this software is the price. It is probably not ideal for smaller sized businesses, but for larger businesses the leads and traffic this product gives us it practically pays for itself!

We use Hubspot Marketing Hub as Automation tool. We generate B2B leads through its automated and Customer journeys campaigns. We use Sign up form, landing page and Email template builder to capture leads. The workflows and Journeys provides users with a great way to enter and exit on occurence of an event.

Cons

The pricing should be reduced. An option to calculate campaignand lead revenue.

Overall, I recommend them over any other marketing automation platform. Especially good for small to medium businesses who have to do it all themselves as Hubspot makes it very easy.

Pros

Using Hubspot was incredible. The UX is unparalleled from what I've seen from competitors such as Marketo and has a rich amount of features. The workflows are very visual and easy to understand and set up, lists are intuitive a you can make beautiful emails on their platform. Social scheduling is also pretty convenient.

Cons

As with many marketing automation platforms, creating LPs and emails can require a bit of coding. The email may look great in the builder but once sent has spacing and structure issues. The social media section has some nice features but is still pretty basic compared to other social planning platforms.

Pros

Fairly easy to get started with and meet the needs of a smaller business. Setting up workflows, automated emails, custom properties and using it as a CRM for sales as well.

Cons

Limited in how much data you can export for reporting purposes. If you want to dive deep into data then there's a lot of manual work that needs to be done.

Pros

Hubspot is great for sending out marketing funnel emails. This is definitely it's top function.

Cons

Hubspot is not great for use as an actual CRM. It is very cumbersome and difficult for Account Managers to actually use it effectively for this purpose.

It's pretty good. It works with minimal fuss and it's nice to use. I would recommend it - it's certainly easier than using custom solutions.

Pros

It's easy to create workflows - they link up to the rest of Hubspot's marketing suite (e.g. emails, forms etc). The workflow creator has a good user design and is well laid out. It looks brilliant and it works well for medium sized businesses.

Cons

There could be better explanation on help pages of how triggers work (especially with delays). For larger businesses, I imagine that the sheer number of workflows might become difficult to manage and they might clash with each other. I'm not sure that Hubspot's UI would be particularly helpful in managing large numbers of workflows.

Pros

I use Hubspot often as a Email Marketer. With the contact/ticket/deal visualisation or even the report builder, it assists me in getting the information I need to make smart decisions. It enables my business to have a sophisticated (but comprehensive!) marketing automation approach and to develop the most effective segmentations to hit every one of our goals.

Cons

The drawbacks I observe are merely areas where, in my opinion, they may be improved:- How deal, contact, and ticket data aren't really related to one another (in a way that I can't see in a plain view, for instance, tickets that are associated to contacts that have this or that property).

Overall, it has been a good experience. Just as stated in the other section. I'd like to see some changes in the project management section.

Pros

I like that hubspot is a "hub" for everything we need and do here.

Cons

The project management feature needs some work. It captures a lot of things and information, but there needs to be a project board view where we can see our projects in virtual folders like Trello boards. I find myself jumping between Trello and Hubspot all the time. If hubspot can invest some time making the project section great, then hands down it would be the best platform that anyone has.

Hubspot is a great tool to prioritize new leads coming into our SF. Automation efficiencies on sending mass emails.

Pros

We use Hubsport in my organization for inbound leads. This prioritizes the leads coming in to our system and is integrated with SF. I have used it previously in more details for Sales with automated emails that can be personalized. Easy to use platform.

Cons

The biggest issue I have is the integration with Outlook. Opening an email and respond to a hubspot notification seems to slow down outlook and I find myself restarting outlook multiple times.

Pros

Overall quality of product is pretty good, they offer great support, easy integration, good UI and many features for marketing needs. It took less then a day to set up, integrate and start using the platform. Free trial option is also very useful.

Cons

Pricing is high, and it would be nice to have more integration options. Other than that the product is good.

Inbound conference was a great learning conference but then it changed and got too big and they stopped having sessions on how to and more about Marketing automation in general. Would be nice to have more how-to videos or something to make up for the change in conference focus.

I really do like the software and the functionality provided in the software. It was very helpful to hop into a software that covered so much! It was my one stop shop.

Pros

The user interface is very good and I love all the features that it pushes out.

Cons

Scalability and price. I had to leave this platform as I began to scale. It became to pricey to maintain high volumes of contacts as I casted a large net on my engaged audiences. The moment I started to gain traction on customers/prospects engaging in my platform, I started going through higher teired pricing. And I started to add employees in the platform which increased my monthly costs on it.

HubSpot is an extremely complete marketing software. From marketing, sales, CRM, etc., HubSpot allows you to manage your business completely. It's one of the best marketing software I've ever worked with.

Cons

The biggest cons are the price of the software and the complexity of use. It requires that the entire team is well trained so that they can take advantage of its features.

Pros

We leverage HubSpot Marketing Hub for email, social and CMS. The platform is feature-rich, and the product team is focused on developing functionality that serves its customers well. The workflow automation, pop up forms, campaigns and reporting satisfy our requirements for lead development and lead capture. We use the Salesforce integration too. We also leverage their premium support offer and regularly attend HubSpot Inbound to ensure we have all the resources necessary for hyper-growth.

Cons

No cons here, we get a lot for the money!

I work for an agency so I operate our clients' HubSpot instances. The types of projects vary but typically I use HubSpot to execute email campaigns, review/optimize lead scoring and lead capture/distribution.

Pros

The email editor is easy to use, even for someone who is a beginner. They have embedded Litmus into their platform which allows you to test the emails through tons of providers and operating systems. Their support is great! I find it super easy to chat with someone when I have a question and they are very hands on in helping you find a solution.

Cons

In some cases I've found it not as robust in reporting. HubSpot uses different lingo and setup than other marketing automation platforms for example workflows--these can be used to create email nurture programs but also can update a contact's info based on an action. It's not necessarily bad but if you are used to other platforms it takes some time to get used to or you'll have to find a workaround.
