Pros

Hubspot's package is to be an all in one stop for marketing automation needs. I will say parts of it did not meet expectations when it was originally purchased for our inbound marketing needs.

Cons

Video syndication on our page was too much and we had difficulties working with the staff on updating the settings. Some parts of the overall user experience could be simplified, but the staff was typically good and could be relied on response time for assistance.

I love that everything for marketing is centralized in this one platform. Anything i need to be doing i can manage from one spot and have everything work together.

Cons

There was a slight learning curve and there are often times I need to reach out to support to figure things out but support is very helpful

Hubspot Marketing automation and Hubspot cos is the most comprehensive and affordable marketing solution out there for b2b marketing teams out there. Highly recommended.

Pros

Hubspot cos is the most comprehensive content management and optimisation solutio out there. We have tried multiple ways of maintaining a website - WordPress, bootstrap, but Hubspot cos rules them all. Built for classic b2b startups.

Cons

Support is not fast enough. We have find the support response time to be not fast enough.

Overall, Hubspot has been a great platform for all of our marketing activities. It does everything and it does it well. I highly recommend Hubspot if you don't want to spend countless dev hours trying to get basic functionality to work.

Pros

Hubspot is very easy to set up and use. Hubspot makes it very easy to segment lists and target them with emails. It's also very easy for sales to follow up with leads. We have it integrated with SalesForce and it's very easy to automate campaigns from start to finish. The workflows make sense and there is hardly a learning curve.

Cons

Reporting could be a little more robust. I wish they offered cohort analysis across campaigns .

Pros

Ability to respond on every marketing challenge, especially the marketing automation features (workflows) in combination with emails and deal stages.

Cons

A bit pricey, but on the other hand it's what makes us maximize and exploit its features to the maximum.

Pros

Best automation platform out there. It's UX is powerful and easy to use. It really has everything you need to do for marketing at scale.

Cons

I don't think any features are missing for me. The learning side of Hubspot is focused on a lot of general information. I think it could be helpful to have more information about setting up automation within Hubspot.

Being able to build different marketing lists with ease through filtering and segmentation has helped us target the right user with every email we send.

Pros

I love the email marketing components for this product. It's very easy to use and the data that is provided on performance is everything I need to make important marketing decisions. The filtering and segmentation, plus being able to set up workflows are great tools.

Cons

My only problem with the HubSpot portal is that it does not allow you to create separate unsubscribe pages.

The software is user friendly and easily integrates with outlook inbox. Read receipts add to advantage of making email marketing better.

Cons

Currently, read receipts can be known only when it’s one on one email. If multiple recipients are there, read receipts is known for first person who opens the email.

We use Hubspot as the central place for our inbound marketing efforts -- particularly using it to manage our landing pages, web analytics, SEO and SEM keywords, and email contacts. Overall, it does its job well, but sometimes it feels like an amalgam of tools that were loosely stitched together in one dashboard. Each tool is very powerful on its own (and considering that you might have to pay for each of these tools separately elsewhere, there's good value too), but I wish they worked together in a smoother way. Another complaint that we have is that some of the code is harder to edit -- in an effort to make everything drag-and-drop and user friendly, Hubspot may have ironically made things less standard and harder to customize. However, given all this, Hubspot is still the best inbound marketing tool out there. It's still one of the simplest to learn and use, while being very powerful. It integrates with most of the major tools out there seamlessly, and the customer support is very proactive and awesome!

Pros

\-good landing page CMS -has a built in CRM -integrates with a lot of other tools -easy to learn

Cons

\-some code can get difficult to manage and change -could be better integrated within its own suite of tools

Pros

If you have any website management experience, this is a fairly intuitive platform and admin. The thing that impressed me was their service when we needed to move our website. A software developer built our original website and clearly didn't have a lot of web experience. It was impossible to maintain ourselves. We checked out a number of platforms, and Hubspot was the most professional in assessing our site and, ultimately, rebuilding it efficiently and effectively. And so fast! Mindblowing. They did a great job. Our marketing team was already using Hubspot, so having our website automatically integrated was really helpful. And we can now maintain our site ourselves with the help of one Hubspot contractor to create custom modules. (I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a Hubspot developer on call for the things you can't do yourself.)

Cons

The design tools are fairly limited and can be very frustrating. Changing paragraph spacing, styles and fonts should be more flexible. We often have to ask our developer to change things that we should be able to do ourselves within the WYSIWYG. They need a slightly more refined admin level for people who aren't specialists but also aren't design/dev novices.

I've been a HubSpot user since 2014. The journey HubSpot has done since then is nothing but impressive. They've gone from a small marketing tool to a system the whole company now uses. I love the support I get and how much I as a marketer can do. The inbound methodology is a game-changer, it really works.

Pros

\- It's very intuitive - Always new features being launched (they listen to what we want and need) - Makes sales and marketing work together - You can customize almost everything - Awesome customer support - The reporting - The training you get through the Academy

Cons

\- Expensive. We pay per contact and we get around 1200 leads per month and we're not that big of a company. - It's a big system and it can become a bit overwhelming for new employees

It is a very useful tool and makes email campaigns measurable, efficient and easy to follow. 60% of site usage is intuitive, the rest 40% is easy to learn.

Pros

I love the stats behind each email campaign I initiate. With that data I can analyze my target audience and figure out my next steps. I also like that those data can be pulled into excel files which I can play around with. I like that HubSpot offers lots of templates. I like the simple outlook of each email and their impact on my colleagues.

Cons

Formatting my copy is not always easy. Changing fonts sometimes requires additional work with coding if I paste my text copied from somewhere.

Pros

There are many tools available within Hubspot but some of the best features are reserved for their top packages, which come at a very, very high price point. If you're looking for a comprehensive marketing and sales tool built into one solution then Hubspot is a great choice; hosting and managing your website and/ or blog; empowering your sales team with automated lead processing; providing the marketing team with collaboration, content creation and distribution tools. They've clearly been working hard to build out their suite to fill in previously existing gaps in their product and redesign it to be more in-line with the impressive competitor products on the market.

Cons

It's expensive. Very expensive. If you want the majority of the tools I've mentioned in the 'pros' section then you're looking at quite a few thousand dollars per month, and that's after a five-figure setup fee. The other issue is that a number of their features are only available if you take advantage of the full product, i.e. host your website via Hubspot or, at the very least, host your blog via Hubspot. Many of the benefits of using Hubspot (and any all-in-one solution like it) are only realised if you really do use it at the core of your businesses marketing and sales endeavours, which can be hard to implement, onboard the whole team and get live.

Setting up an automatic workflow or a bath e-mail is super quick. Plus with the API integration you can connect almost every 3rd party service or website.

Cons

The price. But you have to pay for quality. Plus you'll always need an external agency to setup API connections, and it takes loads of money.

Cons

There are some features you would assume would exist but have to find work rounds for them through the HubSpot community and integrations. Lots of these features eventually come out but can be frustrating when it is something you would regularly use.
