Pros

A very feature-heavy toolkit that allows both beginner and advanced marketeers run campaigns with as little or lot of technical integration.

Cons

Lots of upgrade features that can be hard to really see the benefit of until they've been used. Some costs can jump significantly as you grow as a business, some of them can be unexpected.

I can use this software to keep accountability when working on the project with the internal account team and also the client. This software allows my team to effectively reassign the tasks to the next person or back to me to then give to the client in a timely manner. The notifications before the task due dates are crucial in keeping my clients task on schedule.

Pros

The ability to organize tasks in BC by "to-do buckets" is a great option for our business. Each client that we work with has a different scope of work and requires a customizable interface within BC. Most of our client's retainers change throughout the year so not only have BC look different for each client but having the ability to constantly change the individual set up for clients is crucial.

Cons

I would like to have the option to assign tasks to more than one person. Many times, there are aspects of the project that work in parallel. Sometimes BaseCamp causes a bottleneck when there multiple people involved that need to be working on their portions at the same time.

The time savings and organization tools HS has given me are invaluable and have forced a certain discipline on my sales and marketing processes. The documents and forms tracking have also been a major increase in sales for us.

Pros

Hubspot allows us to automate our sales tasks in a way that I couldn't do manually. It eliminates the need for me to track my follow ups and to-dos and in a busy schedule this has been invaluable. Website tracking has proven to provide valuable insights into our web traffic in realtime and shown me what blog articles and products are most popular.

Cons

Feature add-ons and bugs can be slow to fix sometimes. The community is great at banding together but the sales people at HS are at the mercy of product developers and don't seem to have the ability to bridge the gap between bugs and fixes.

I like that HubSpot gives marketing users the flexibility to build workflows with as much complexity as they need. I found some other marketing automation tools lacking in this regard.

Cons

I don't like that HubSpot tries to force you to use things like their blog and landing pages and convince you it's best practice. They limit functionality for users who don't use these features .

My overall experience with HubSpot CRM is good. I haven't really used any of the other marketing tools, so I can't speak for those. Only the CRM part, which - again - is good and useful. I would recommend to at least try it out risk free (free version) and see if it works for you. I haven't found a better alternative yet.

Pros

The free version has lots of features already and no limitation on how many people you can add. This means that for my usecase, I can continue to use the free version although with some limitations - I can live with that. The software itself feels modern, is fairly easy and convenient to use. The filter options are really good and extensive.

Cons

There's a lack of some features, even with the paid version. So much so, that for a project I did in 2019, I wasn't able to use HubSpot. The paid version is way too expensive. There should be some middleground for like $20/month, but it immediately jumps up to $50/month, which is really expensive. I would search for a smaller, much cheaper solution if I ever had to use more advanced CRM features.

I liked Hubspot because it organizes all emails of sales and marketing very well, we being medium size business Hubspot provides us a good platform in marketing, it is suitable for both small to a large business like for big corporations. Hubspot also has tutorials on how to use the product, I have watched all these videos which helped me to utilize this software very well, especially using their content manager. Most of my time is spent on using there blogging tools it helped to monitor our marketing sales and activities, the blogging platform is very easy to use and they are well organized.

Cons

I'm a big fan of Hubspot there is no such thing that I like very less, I would like to see some more awesome features such as integration with other software and improvement in the reporting features.

Being able to have my CRM and Marketing in one spot has been a huge help. Instead of constantly linking and shuffling between the two, I'm able to target my customers and potential customers in one spot which saves me a ton of time.

Pros

HubSpot is a great, fast way to start automating your marketing campaigns. The introductory software offers plenty of features to get you started while also quickly integrating with their CRM. Although there are more powerful Marketing Automation software options, this allows you to automate some of your marketing in minutes.

Cons

Because the software is so easy for beginners it is a little difficult for more experienced marketers. Personalizing the features is not always easy and while the one-size fits all is great for people new to the industry, you can outgrow HubSpot quickly.

I am an Inbound Marketing Consultant at a marketing agency located in Northern Virginia. My agency decided to hop on the "inbound marketing train" last year and so we began researching various inbound marketing platforms in order to find a software that was affordable and would meet our agency's needs. We browsed through several platforms but found ourselves continually coming back to HubSpot'primarily because of their affordability and knowledge of inbound marketing. I know use HubSpot for over 6 hours a day both for the marketing of our own agency as well as the marketing of our clients. The tracking HubSpot provides in conjunction with its easy usability and incredibly robust capabilities, has helped our agency attract an incredible amount of new business in a very short period of time. We love HubSpot so much that our entire team went through HubSpot training in order to become a HubSpot partner agency. HubSpot truly is an exhaustive platform'it's everything from your social media publishing/monitoring tool, to your blog, to your landing pages, to your image library, to your CRM, and so much more. Without HubSpot, our team would not be able to provide the kinds of results that make our clients keep coming back. HubSpot's support team is fantastic as well. We have never had an issue getting a question resolved or error fixed in an untimely manner.

We use HubSpot for our marketing lists and sync that with our Salesforce when the users make it to that part of the sales/customer process. HubSpot works well with how we market with our email list and our landing page strategy. It has helped us streamline a lot of our email work with its templates and easy-to-edit blog posts and emails. The landing pages are easy to track and help link our leads with who become customers further down the funnel. While some things on HubSpot require effort to learn, their certification process and the amount of helpful content they put out keeps me learning how to use it better and becoming a better marketer with a lot of the other tools I use.

Pros

It really does have almost everything we need for making our marketing strategies into reality.

Cons

At first it can be a little cumbersome but it does a lot if you take the time to learn about inbound methodology and the software itself.

The best part is the support. Either by email, phone, callback, they've made it easy to get in touch and get the issue sorted if there is one if you aren't able to figure out on your own quickly (there's excellent documentation as well) The support is super helpful and useful. I really like that when I'm trying new addons, they don't push, but understand my needs first. They work with me to help me figure out the best solution that meets my company's needs. My client success manager also checks in regularly and helps train me any on tools if I need and makes recommendations. Other than the support, Hubspot's interface is easy to use and learn. It just makes sense. The menus are organised well, you need relatively little training to get up and running. The templates included cut down on a lot of the time it takes me to get things done. Then landing page builder is easy and simple to use. I can create an LP, thank you page with all the forms, followups, and CTA's in 20-30 minutes. Another good part is that I can customise the content on a page according to a persona or specific type of client or almost any property on the same page. I can change a form, or CTA and that saves me time while making the website more useful/relevant to a prospect. Another good part is that it's all in one. Social media, email, integration with Salesforce, website posting, blog. It's all in one place so it makes easy to prospects across multiple channels. The app for mobile isn't as powerful as I'd like. It'd be nice if when sending an email from the mobile app, it would bcc the person's email. The sales CRM isn't as powerful or customisable as it could be. Some of our sales team are starting to use it and it'd be nice if there were ways to change control the mappings of contacts owners between HB and SF so we could reduce the number of users in SF.

I love the sequences the most. The ability to create content and adjust messaging for each contact is super valuable.

There isn’t much I dislike. I’d love to see more and more integrations over time although so far so good.

HubSpot marketing handles my B2B business well, and it does offer a lot of tools that I can use to promote my content, and even I get some suggestions (generally via emails) on how to improvise my content to better reach my customers. All of my site traffic is collected and processed at their end and that ensures my efforts accurate and fruitful and I'm reaching the right customers. Note: It was good until I was registered for a free trial, but now giving money (with discount coupon), it is too much for small business owners like me.

Pros

The platform is quite user friendly, best for small business owners. The best part I liked about this product is that it has a free trial version, and I don't know of any other product of same category providing free trials to beginners.

Cons

Cons? Oh! There are many. 1. Billing is done annually :-( Of course, I'll use it on a long term, but I'd prefer a monthly contract. 2. No A/B testing in trial version (even the profession version). 3. The tools that HubSoft offers are available for free in other sites, at least free trial versions are available for quite a few. 4. Marketing automation is available but it does not fits in my budget. 5. Customer care support is free, but higher form of technical support is paid (I'm unsure of this, never tried myself, but word of mouth suggests this).

integration of social media platforms, workflow, CRM, automation of communication from Blogs, Social Media and emails. lots of tutorials. This Software has Aircraft Carrier type capabilities !

Cons

My Con has less to do with the software than with my lack of time and the complexity of implementation. That being said Hubspot have an absolute treasure trove of tutorials, classes and Top Gun support staff. Since I am a small one man business finding the time to on-board has been a real problem. I would totally recommend that anyone in a small team situation employ someone to help with the on-boarding. either from one of the many Gig sites out there, or local. I noticed that gig sellers are making a point promoting their HubSpot certification. I could have saved myself a lot of pain had I done this from the get-go.
