Absolute basics are fine but overall it's super frustrating as the menu system still shows all the features, but inevitably you just get pinged over to an upgrade page. Honestly if you're starting out DON'T go with Hubspot since you'll likely need to suffer the disruption of moving away on cost grounds. Their PRO plan is ridiculously expensive for the immediate next tools a growing SME needs.

Pros

The Hubspot UI in general is clearer and their email builder less laggy or buggy than some other CRM's we've used. Basics like import and export of contacts is very easy to do. Custom fields easy to setup.

Cons

Absolutely detest their pricing structure and use of paid marketing contact thresholds. Of ALL the many software packages we use the Hubspot pricing is the most complicated and infuriating. There is also a simply MASSIVE jump up in cost from their Starter plan to the PRO plan. And guess what so very many of the pretty essential marketing tool (split tests, automation etc etc) are only available on the PRO plan. It's just ridiculous that Starter is £14/mo per seat and the PRO plan is £700pm + £40/mo per seat!! Talk about NOT offering a transition plan for their customers as they grow.

Pros

As a graphic designer, the ease of use and template library makes designing very fast. Also integrates with Adobe Creative Cloud so it's easy to import assets.

Cons

It can be restrictive for graphic designers who prefer to work with fully flexible designs with limited customization.

I was a little frustrated when tryign to create campaigns that I had to export and import lists rather than simply selecting accounts front end and flagging them for the campaign

Pros

What drew me most to Hubspot is how user-friendly the interface is and how intuitive the workflows are. With so many software products are there, it can be overwhelming (and time consuming) to have to learn everything all over again. But with how easy this was from the very beginning, it helped me feel at peace with my decision and hopeful for how it would change my business. I have been able to easily to create targeted campaigns and track performance.

Cons

I have not had the best customer service experience which is not an indicator of the product itself (that has been wonderful) but more so the company. I can see how that would be a deterrent for someone to renew any contract, even if the product is incredible.

is a complete solution for every business when it comes to marketing. It has many useful features and its integration with CRM works perfect for me.

Pros

I really liked from the first login as it was a nice user interface and intuitive witch make it easy to use, this is a big plus as loosing time learning a new app/software is not good for any business. Another thing I like was that the support team was very quick and helpful. It integrates easy with other Hubspot services or other third party apps as well.

Cons

There are no things that I can say I like less or didn't encounter yet.

It's very easy to use and setup for a basic marketing functionality like email marketing and lead management.

There is a lot of reliance, and push from HubSpot, to setup this tool as your CMS and CRM.

It has been a pleasant experience from signing in to the multi factor authentication, to the mails to help keep up with trends. I think hubspot is doing a great job.

Pros

The simplicity in the user experience. I loved it. No navigation struggles.

Cons

I can’t think of something now but I know that their support portal is responsive so I’ll do well to throw in concerns when they arise.

The marketing hub takes a lot of disparate systems and brings them all together nicely.

The cost is a little much, where you can get the same (or similar) function from a set of other products.
