Pros

We were able to organize our marketing activities thanks you HubSpot so that we could concentrate on the important things. Because to HubSpot workflows, we've been able to automate a lot of tedious task that we previously performed by hand. Due to HubSpot simplicity to use.

Cons

I only have problems with poor management. Since contacts don't stay checked when you switch to another page of the list.

More insights about clients behaviour, which was helpful, but also frustrating at times. But it certainly helped us.

Pros

We have used it for a long time (several reasons why we dont use it anymore) and we were very pleased with it. Absolute value for money as well. It was easy to install and work with it. To be able to see directly if someone was responding (or not) was fascinating and helped us keep contact with our clients.

Cons

Sometimes we would get to involved with one clients opening habits, over and over but never contacting us back.

Pros

The total functionality for HubSpot is a great resource for any small marketing team, at any small biz. We set up clients with their Marketing Website on HubSpot, as well as helped them incorporate their big feed and implement a CRM, on top of newsletters, etc. It was very helpful to have all of this under one umbrella, and great for capturing customers and providing consistent content updates.

Cons

At first, it can feel a bit clunky to work around and the interface takes some slight getting used to. But after a short while it is easily adaptable.

Our entire inbound marketing efforts and so much more.

Pros

Once mastered the software can measure everything from CTA, Sales, Blogs all your inbound marketing needs it is exceptional and fairly intuitive to learn. I was blown away with how powerful a tool it is. Creating templates for CTA and customizing is easy. I like being able to quickly create and clone a template to use for multiple purposes. The support members are the most knowledgeable. They will step you through your issue, and make recommendations to what else to further learn. I am impressed at how the support team wants you to learn and leverage all the features of the Hubspot software.

Cons

There is a lot to learn. I am fairly skilled in tech and take to learning new software, but there is just so much. I had to call in many times to get assistance. They have a comprehensive online university as well. But it is not the same as implementing a work project. It takes time, but practice and using support and the online tools will help mastery.

Pros

Hubspot is a robust platform that allows you to roll many of your marketing tasks into one system. Modules I use regularly include: email marketing, workflows, and landing pages. It's easy to create and edit appealing, image-rich emails. Workflows are invaluable, allowing you to do everything from sending a user through an established drip campaign to creating different actions for a user at any point (i.e. add to another drip campaign, add to a contact list, etc.). The landing pages module includes pre-created templates, and of course Hubspot has link tracking functionality, form functionality, etc. Because this is all rolled into one system, you can put contact submissions from your landing pages directly into a workflow. In short, this is the perfect tool to execute on a well-developed marketing plan.

Cons

Because it is so robust, there is a learning curve to use it. You need someone who is familiar with the software or willing to learn to make the most effective use of it. Customer service is sometimes not adept at solving problems creatively or thinking outside the box. However, to Hubspot's credit, it is always possible to reach a live person.

Buyer Beware. Hubspot is expensive, Inbound Marketing can be a pipe dream, and unless you have a very talented development team at your disposal, getting away from Hubspot will be a multi-month endeavor you may never actually execute fully.

Pros

Easy to use, lots of great content to get you started on your HubSpot journey. Support is okay and training videos are better.

Cons

From a development perspective, you can never, ever get away from Hubspot. Once you try to get away from their system you find that your website is a gigantic mess of Hubspot code and you'll have to practically rebuild to make sure all your "inbound" links work for you in the future. It's a complete nightmare.

We're using HubSpot across the whole organization starting with email marketing, advanced content offers, paid ads, social media distribution, and CRM.

Pros

Shows all activities of your database of contacts so you know what is working, and what is not. Ties your CRM and marketing automation together seamlessly. Allows you to test content, whether its an email or a landing page

Cons

I'd like to see a tighter integration between a HubSpot contact and a HubSpot company, it's difficult to track some items since they are considered separate. Separate the time and date in the data exports I'd like the social reporting to be better. It should be able to tell me when to post social media updates based on all the data I've given this program.

We've tried three other marketing automation systems. None of them hold a candle to Hubspot. Not only is the software easy to use, it offers a ton of separate features that allow you to get rid of disparate systems and have everything in one central location.

Pros

I am currently using the chat function of this tool which is integrated with my website. It helps me to connect with my site visitors. Using this tool, I can monitor all the site visitor activities and I can even send them a message! It was so awesome!

Cons

Late notification on their mobile app. I can only receive chats from the site visitors when I open the app.

All the features are easily intuitive. The tracking feature is great that we can follow-up our leads. My main use is landing page creation, Ads add-on, Emailing and Workflow, CRM. Hubspot has a rich resources and certifications that we can learn it at our pace.

Pros

The platform is rich of marketing features : landing pages, email, blog, reporting, Ads, etc. Its email extension allows us to track which lead has opened email / clicked on the link.

Cons

The report is not really personable.

I'm more of a developer on this system, and it's got a lot of great functionality and continues to grow. If you've got the budget for it, it's a great solution.

Pros

Tremendous amount of functionality contained in a single integrated system. User interface has greatly improved in recent years. Fantastic support (at least for those of us at the Partner level).

Cons

Tremendously expensive as a solution if you use all functions. It's probably a good value overall, but it prices out small businesses pretty quickly.

Pros

There is a tonne of marketing suites available, but Hubspot stands out to me for how easy it is to use and how light it seems. I like that I can use five various features, including registration forms, advertisements, and landing pages, under a single plan.

Cons

I firmly believe that they ought to refrain from placing as many restrictions on starting plan users. If they can enable the creation or setup of a blog, SEO functionality shouldn't be restricted and offered to users of the Professional plan. Nothing to complain about but that

Forms - Allows to build user profile instead of scaring users away with one massive form. Landing Page Builder - Simple and straight forward, select template, put in assets - Voila! Custom Field Creation for Contacts - Allows us to create custom fields for contacts AND use the custom fields for decision making in workflow

I haven't come across a use case for myself where I HATE the software. Although, I would have liked some more features around social tracking.

HubSpot makes it easy to accomplish exactly what I need done. It does so in a non-overwhelming way that allows me to bring some of my non-digital colleagues into the fold to set up things for themselves. Everyone in my office thinks in workflows now instead of one off emails!

Cons

It can be challenging to get the exact detail or reporting that you are looking for. Not everything is just 'a click away' and if you're not someone who lives in HubSpot then it might be difficult to find what you're looking for.

It really slowed down the opening up of Outlook and many times it would crash on opening. It was recommended that I delete it and reload it, but then I ran into troubles of it working at all with Outlook

Hubspot is not just a software, it's a state of mind. They kind of invented the inbound marketing, have millions of resources on it, events etc.. The Hubspot marketing suite is the best choice for any marketer that wants to get results. Landing pages, forms, smart CTA's, workflows, lists, reports, it's all in there. The best point is that you don't need anything more than their tool, as it's all integrated. Bonus point for their blogging tool that's super easy to use and perfectly integrated into Hubspot for analytics purpose.

Pros

It's completely integrated, it's a suite, meaning you don't need any extra software to do your job as a marketer.

Cons

The learning curve is quite important, and that's why they provide full onboarding with one of their customer success managers.
