Pros

It is a complete package. I used it to create landing pages and they connect them to website forms. It was easy and effective. I was able to run an effective A/B campaigns to evaluate and improve promotion tactics. It is able to do complicated tasks in a way that is simple and easy to understand.

Cons

Experienced glitches sometimes but they were quickly fixed by the customer service.

Pros

I enjoy how easy Hubspot is to use. It was a great solution for us as a very green marketing team. Hubspot walks you through every step of building an email campaign, landing page, etc. and there are templates for them so it doesn't require any coding.

Cons

The design editor doesn't always work and editing anything can become a lengthly, frustrating process. Customer support could also be better. It's quite difficult to get a question answered promptly.

Pros

I am originally someone who has championed Marketo (and still do), but I have to say that the folks at HubSpot really thought through how to make the email marketing and segmentation process easier. While there is not as much customization, the platform focuses on what you expect it to do (eg. Marketo requires you to create a Smart List or look at Program Membership to see a list of people who clicked, while HubSpot has all of that information prepared in an easy-to-navigate dashboard after any email send). I'm also impressed with how easy their Smart List feature is to use. Very easy-to-use platform and a good choice for small businesses and enterprises alike as I've used it for both!

Cons

Because it is a platform, the migration process is not always very precise for the websites. It can add little pieces of code. They often do updates and do not inform about it and may cause problems. The SEO modules of this software are basic and only assistive. Functionality does not include many instruments, and the data lacks depth. The price for the whole platform is very high, and you can not reduce costs by paying only for the modules you need.

Pros

It's great for multiple departments to share information in a clear manner and keep everything organized and easily referenced.

It's as useful as you want it to be; meaning, if your team isn't inputting and updating actively, it's not a magic wand solution.

Pros

The blogging and page setup is very easy and intuitive to do. I also think the HubSpot Academy has some added value in it.

Cons

Reporting can be tricky to follow and seems to get messed up frequently. Whether on our end or theirs, it seems like it should be easier to execute. Scheduling social media is also somewhat laborious and the view of scheduled posts is hard to comprehend.

I liked its multi-account management system and the analytics are so insightful in terms of gauging customer sentiment.

Cons

It can be laggy at times, especially if you have multiple accounts open/running on the platform. I hate lag!

It seems like every day I discover a new avenue to go down in HubSpot Marketing Hub. It inspires constant innovation a strategy. Sometimes to the point I feel like I will never catch up to the software!

Pros

HubSpot is like a Mac - sleek, clean and easy to use. It can take some time to adjust to the software to use it to its full, maximum potential. But HubSpot makes that easy with comprehensive videos to train anyone into becoming a power user.

Cons

HubSpot is geared towards product marketers. Its ideology is based on the concept of converting interested consumers into customers with the power of communication. Cross-selling and upgrading takes a back seat.

Hubspot is very easy to use and I would extremely recommend this to all who are looking for a comprehensive marketing tool with is fully automated. I can be able to schedule my posts easily and also have all the records viewed at will.

Pros

It is very easy to use and the new email WYSIWYG is very user friendly. One can comfortably add different users with specific access to the system. The calendar too is awesome my company uses that to schedule social post up to more than 3 months which makes planning more effective.

Cons

The use of so many brands is a challange because you can not separate them. the sub domain feature is helping a lot but it requires massive expansion.

Highly recommend if you're starting from scratch and don't have expectations for how to run email marketing campaigns. They give you all the tools you need to succeed. However, if you have something specific in mind, you may not be able execute on a process that doesn't align with "The Hubspot Way".

Pros

Very easy to get started. Significantly easier to use than Marketo, but still has a learning curve. They emphasize learning how to do inbound marketing "their" way, which is very good for SMBs looking to break into generating inbound leads. Their 90 day onboarding coach process is incredible - we've learned so much about inbound, blogging, webinars, and general email marketing automation. They train both for best practices AND for how to do the technical set up, which is nice.

Cons

While this is expensive, this contains everything a company needs to do inbound well. However, if you need more flexibility and already have something in mind for how to generate leads and use email marketing, then you may need to opt for a Marketo. For example, they only offer 2 unsubscribe options: "unsubscribe from all" and "manage preferences". They do not offer a "unsubscribe from THIS TYPE of email". They also do not let you integrate the subscription preferences page with a user's profile on the main website, and do not have a flexible way to manage re-subscribes via API.

As a small CS org, part of what we do is a sort of "Customer Marketing" function, so this has been exceedingly useful in this regard. We use this to get people onto our learning platform, our help center, and our weekly check-ins, as well as announcing and pushing enhancements to the product, and this is effective in all respects.

Pros

Website editing and email creation are super easy with the WYSIWYG editor, and forms are super easy to create.

Cons

The forms seem quite basic, appearance-wise, but this may be due to my limited usage.

Hubspot made working over many time zones work. We were able to get a plan organized for the business that everyone could follow, and when changes were made, all appropriate people assigned to that task were updated.

Pros

I like how I was able to import all contacts that we have currently and be able to track what part of the process we have them at on a team level.

Cons

I didn't like how we had trouble with some notifications, almost too many, and not enough notifactions about the information we did need.

While the software itself is fantastic and has plenty of features for us to build our Marketing expertise, the HubSport Support team is honestly the best I've ever dealt with. Being such a big platform, I expected Support to take a while to respond and be problematic, like most companies are. However, HubSpot's Support staff get your query answered fast, within 24 hours and always make sure to explain everything properly so you can understand.

Cons

This software is pretty expensive in my opinion. You pay for a certain amount of contacts. For most companies who do a lot of sales this will get costly quickly.

### "Good tracking product but recent update is putting emails to junk mail"

Pros

Great for tracking and read receipts. Have never had any issues with it and has worked perfectly up until a recent update.

Cons

The recent update is putting a "http://sidekick..." address into the signature in place of their website link, unbeknownst to my client. Which is putting their emails into recipients junk mails, as well as replies to their junk mail because of it. Hopefully will be corrected because the client loves the software otherwise.
