Cons

HubSpot can be glitchy sometimes. Nothing major, but can slow productivity at times.

It appears user-friendly and has a nice interface, but unless your a developer, designing with it can be tricky. We use it for company website, email automation, contact lists, and reporting.

Pros

It has a nice interface and is easy to navigate. Has lots of features. Includes product training and certifications.

Cons

I find it to be a little confusing and hard to use. There is a lot of going back and forth between editing pages and templates. Every time I want to try something different, I seem to have to create a new template. I have an abundance of templates and assets, it's hard to keep track of everything.

Overall my experience with hubspot marketing hub has been somewhat decent. I am not a fan of its pricing structure and feel there a similar or alternative solutions out there that provide you with the same tools and features for lower price or in some cases completely free.

Pros

What I like most about hubspot marketing hub is that it is a all in one marketing solution created and backed by one of the leaders in online digital marketing. With free options or other alternatives to this solution you’re a required sometimes paste together different services just get a good view on your entire marketing mix and analytic. This however is not the case with hubspot marketing hub which provides you everything you may need to research, attract, and convert your potential customer. Everything from lead generation with landing pages and ads to effectively managing and nurting you potential client with email marketing and analytical reports.

Cons

What I like least about this software is its pricing structure which starts at $50 per month but could increase based on your needs. Although this is the perfect solution for the successful marketer or ad agency, for those starting out this may be too steep of a price when you factor in the cost of leading potential customer or client down your sales funnel. Although I have dabbled with this solution in the past, I however prefer to find lower cost or free alternatives to this software because it allows me to put more of my money towards actually running ads and turning a cold audience into a warmer one.

The ability to know when e-mails are being read via timed receipts and great for marketing messages, identify what's working

Pros

We used for the ability to track e-mails and have a better idea which marketing messages worked better based on clicks. This was also useful to know when a customer was reviewing our info for a timely follow up phone call!

Cons

Having to constantly log in, it should be able to hold your log in information for more than a day or 1 re-boot of the pc

Love it! It is my favorite CRM that I have tried. The free version is really nice and user friendly and there are more features when you upgrade!

Pros

I love the CRM system, it links so easily to my email and I love knowing when people open my email and how many times they click it. I also manage my signature for emails and newsletters through hubspot directly to my gmail. It is very user friendly for someone who is not the best at technology and the help section is very useful.

Cons

It can be confusing when making different mailing lists at first. This requires a little bit of time to learn, but the help section is really nice to help you figure it out. I find having too many tags makes it difficult to keep everyone in the same place.

Pros

Easy to analyse the important metrics like traffic and leads when it comes to managing your online presence for your business. All information is shown on an easy to use dashboard. Also has some other great features that help you achieve these metrics such as search optimisation tool, keyword information and suggestions for when you are writing content. Also integrates with most CRM's easily - which is great. It's pretty flexible and covers a wide range of things many people in the team need access to.

Cons

It's not that easy to pick up quickly and it did take quite a lot of time to get the team up to speed and trained up on how to use this. If you're a really small marketing team with a small budget this might not be the best option for you.

Every piece of this platform has a user manual dedicated to set up, troubleshooting and advanced tutorials. If ours ever stuck on a small task or don't know how to program something within HubSpot, there's either a guide or an expert customer staffing waiting to lend a helping hand.

Cons

The site builder/ COS can be a bit clunky. You can choose to purchase templates or build from scratch, but oftentimes you'll still need to be able to hard code.

It's become essential, and we can't really market without it. The reminders and cues are so helpful, especially to staff that are newer to the outreach experience.

Pros

HubSpot's ease of use in automation makes it a shoo-in for CRM. We're a very small company and didn't really think we needed something like this, until it was evident how this does the work of an outreach specialist for me.

Cons

It's not that I dislike certain features on HubSpot, it's that they're a tad complicated and it takes some digging to learn to customize.

Pros

Before Hubspot, I was using several different apps to do all of my marketing, since Hubspot, I only need this one. The onboarding process was easy and extremely helpful! We are so glad we implemented this software and are planning on using it for multiple companies.

Pros

I like using hubspot to be able to track my emails and see who has opened them. It is a useful feature that I can use when trying to reach prospects.

Cons

I don't like that the free version now only gives you 200 views a month. I send a lot of email and I run out pretty quickly. The lowest tier is 50 a month, and that's all I use it for so it's not worth the money.

This product was very easy to use and served the purpose of lead generation.

Cons

I found that this software had less power behind it than Salesforce. I have used Salesforce and HubSpot and enjoyed Salesforce more. The display functionality and feel was much better with Salesforce, but understand that HubSpot was geared more towards marketing than lead tracking.

It's user intuitive. They've got an extensive training program for all facets of their offerings, which is incredibly helpful for our internal staff training process. The software is multi faceting, and help us achieve many marketing actions from one dashboard. The reporting tools are pretty well-developed as well.

It can be difficult to use when a client needs to integrate with specific applications, a custom CRM, or specific tools.

I'm still relatively new to everything Hubspot. We're in the construction/integration of the system period right now and everything is very new and shiny in there. I LOVE the capabilities Hubspot brings over our former system (no names...). Have and will recommend it!

Pros

Very adept at being a nuanced, controllable, "set it and forget it" marketing software. Easy to construct detailed automation based on little, targeted things like "contact watched 30+ seconds of this video." Very intuitive layout for campaign or "work flow" layout and construction.

Cons

Automated emails can only be sent either on weekdays or any 7 days of the week. I wish for an option that excludes only Sunday. Might be there, just not easy to find right now. Honestly, nothing else stands out.

There are so many options with HubSpot, I use the automation tool to move clients further down our pipeline. They have free versions for everything which is helpful in making the right decision for your company.

Cons

Setting it up can be a little tricky, you have to follow the directions precisely.

Everything was in different platforms which took up time and ran up the costs. With HubSpot all we need to keep our content marketing running smoothly is in one place.

Pros

I mostly use the blogging, analytics, and social media side of Hubspot but so far it has proved itself to be useful, usable, and worth sticking to. The interface is easy to pick up as a beginner and the tips and explanations help you fill in the SEO fields with the right information. The blogging platform is easy to use and has all the formatting options and then some. Their extensive educational material has been a staple for my business to learn more about online marketing and using their platform properly. The best part about Hubspot is just having everything in one place.

Cons

Choosing the headings, font, font size etc can be tedious using the hoverable dropdown menus. You have to have a steady hand to click the right option. Could have better UX considering it's such a widely used platform. Also rather expensive compared to other solutions. Maybe not the best choice for small businesses or individuals.

Pros

The platform is super easy and intuitive, even new users can use it without any problem. The platform does everything that you could need SEO analysis, Social Media analytics, generating leads, reports generation and finding the authenticity of the content.

Cons

The free trial is too short. It does not give you enough time to practice with the software, before getting into a contract for a year. It does not have any sense that you have to pay to get tech support. Specially with a platform as expensive as this one.
