Overall, our experience has been very positive. We have been able to do quite a bit with the basic setup plus custom objects. Any time I need to integrate another platform, it's pretty straightforward.

Pros

It's a really powerful tool that integrates well with the rest of our tech stack.

Cons

The menus and navigation are confusing at the best of times. They don't label things the most intuitive names and move things around frequently, so if you don't keep up with their emails and info articles, sometimes you're in for a real surprise when you go to find a feature/menu item.\`

Overall we were disappointed because what we were told it could do was only on the really expensive plan and there was nothing in between the basic and crazy expensive plan.

Pros

It integrated very well with our CRM so that flowed really good.

Cons

The email deliver rates were not great. On the starter plan so many features were restricted it was hard to really get anything done.

Positive overall. I've used Hubspot for over 10 years and very happy with it services and set of tools for marketers and businesses

Pros

Simple and straightforward. I particularly like Hubspot sales as it helps in my lead scoring and evaluation of potential leads and email marketing

Cons

While the tool is fairly straightforward, it lacks integration with mobile devices and Firefox in particular.

Pros

Using hubspot marketing hub email A/B split test feature helped me to identify which subject date and content format to send performed well. I can use real-life behavioural data of the recipient in the future campaign. It is also good that in the contact activity timeline, it is integrated with email engagement.

Cons

Contact filters for smart lists do not have well-developed filtering for intricate interconnection of filters. I had to export the list to refine it in other applications whenever I had to split audiences in a way not provided by the standard set of parameters.

Absolute basics are fine but overall it's super frustrating as the menu system still shows all the features, but inevitably you just get pinged over to an upgrade page. Honestly if you're starting out DON'T go with Hubspot since you'll likely need to suffer the disruption of moving away on cost grounds. Their PRO plan is ridiculously expensive for the immediate next tools a growing SME needs.

Pros

The Hubspot UI in general is clearer and their email builder less laggy or buggy than some other CRM's we've used. Basics like import and export of contacts is very easy to do. Custom fields easy to setup.

Cons

Absolutely detest their pricing structure and use of paid marketing contact thresholds. Of ALL the many software packages we use the Hubspot pricing is the most complicated and infuriating. There is also a simply MASSIVE jump up in cost from their Starter plan to the PRO plan. And guess what so very many of the pretty essential marketing tool (split tests, automation etc etc) are only available on the PRO plan. It's just ridiculous that Starter is £14/mo per seat and the PRO plan is £700pm + £40/mo per seat!! Talk about NOT offering a transition plan for their customers as they grow.

No great. I'd heard good things and was assured it was the correct system id need to send email marketing and track my emails, and could use as a CRM. I had no idea how to set it up properly to use it and didn't receive the ongoing support I was expecting.

Pros

Lots of people talk very highly of hubspot and recommended it to me to use. Once set up I did get a call from somebody offering assistance.

Cons

I had no idea how to use it. I found it difficult to navigate as a beginner and I couldn't find any help resources that worked for me. After an initial call when I set it up, and talking through adding our contacts, I was told they'd call back in a couple of days to see how I was getting on uploading my contacts and then they would talk through the next steps, however they never called me back.

Pros

Being in the marketing industry I was particularly impressed by HubSpot Marketing Hub in lead tracking and to run segmented emails. Getting to create segmented workflows and witnessing the response of the audiences in real-time helped greatly in understanding the interests of various segments.

Cons

The reports’ export options are slightly constrained when I try to filter or combine several campaign metrics. This often requires cross-tabulations which are not accommodated in the current templates making it time-consuming to produce reports.

Overall, it is a fantastic tool for growing your business that is also available for free, and I have learned a lot by exploring the free version. The learning courses are a great tool.

Pros

There is a lot of fantastic tools available with a lot of functionality. I like that there is a free version that enables you to learn a bit of it before investing. Learning tools are great as well.

Cons

There are almost too many options and tools available, and the pricing structure is a bit confusing, especially for small businesses. I am not sure if all the options and possibilities are as crucial as they seem, but this might be my lack of experience in this specific field.

Our basic need was to manage leads and manage our marketing campaigns. We tried a lot of CRMs but when we landed on Hubspot we got the satisfaction. We can manage leads and our campaigns properly. The price is competitive but it is worth it. You get everything in the CRM itself.

Pros

It is very nice and easy to use. it fulfils every need of marketing and helps a lot in managing campaigns. The analytics they provide is most impressive.

Cons

they keep spamming about renewal which is a bit irritating.

Pros

What drew me most to Hubspot is how user-friendly the interface is and how intuitive the workflows are. With so many software products are there, it can be overwhelming (and time consuming) to have to learn everything all over again. But with how easy this was from the very beginning, it helped me feel at peace with my decision and hopeful for how it would change my business. I have been able to easily to create targeted campaigns and track performance.

Cons

I have not had the best customer service experience which is not an indicator of the product itself (that has been wonderful) but more so the company. I can see how that would be a deterrent for someone to renew any contract, even if the product is incredible.

It's easy to use, the Hubspot support team is very helpful and there are a lot of resources online.

Cons

it can be expensive. the subscription prices increase substantially from the basic package to the next. The basic package is a great starter but you'll find yourself needing the upgrade soon enough.
