Shopify Plus has been great for our small business. We are able to pretty much use it as our entire ERP. Impressive.

Pros

What I like most about Shopify Plus is that it truly delivers the full value of every dollar you spend, provided you make the best use of it.

Cons

Shopify is built with Ruby on Rails, which then has it's own templating language called Liquid. If you don't like coding, this may not be for you.

My overall experience with Shopify has been great. The customer support hasnt been needed often, but when it has been used, the employees have been very helpful. We will continue using Shopify plus for the foreseeable future.

Pros

I like the ability to customize the most about shopify plus. As a growing business with complex needs, customization has been important. I also like the customer supper and ability to access beta programs.

Cons

100 Variant limit is the worst thing about shopify plus. Though, as I understand it, that limit is about to be removed.

Overall, we had an okay experience. There were some features that we really loved but a lot of the features we wanted, we still needed to purchase apps for. We wish there was more support throughout the entire time we were with Plus.

Pros

I enjoyed having the checkout liquid to customize the checkout process. I also enjoyed having access to the launch pad app.

Cons

The price for us wasn't worth it. It's incredibly expensive and i think it's more useful for B2B business. We have a hard time using the full value of the platform. We were promised support throughout to grow our store but it went away once the platform was fully set up.

We had a very good experience and our work was done very swiftly.

Pros

The Process to start a new website using Shopify is very easy. It is also very simple for new users with no developing skills to start with Shopify. Integration with most apps is very convenient and can be easily handled.

Cons

Some of the features need some time to understand and need good knowledge about a particular feature.

The ability to customize checkout and enjoy lower CC processing fees, as well as other basic features they gate-keep behind plus

Cons

They fraudulently represented the features and benefits included including priority support and merchant success teams that literally do not exist beyond "growth manager" sales reps reaching out to up-sell you on taking loans or buying other services. Furthermore after we cancelled Plus, they kept billing us for one of its features (POS PRO) that transitioned into a separate active subscription that we never authorized or used, charging us $5k+ over a year that they refuse to refund.

Whether you are a small business or large Shopify will cater to your every need. Navigating Shopify plus is seamless as well, all the information that you could need all in one place. Fast bug fixes, whenever shopify crashes it is back up within 2-5 minutes and no outreach is needed ever. Thats top notch! Universally Shopify is being used by businesses throughout the world, making starting a business easy and fun! Shopify plus caters to the businesses unique needs and workflows.

Cons

Not much to put here, sometimes shopify will update how or where something is shown on the page. Without notice of the change it can cause a little bit of confusion if you are not able to locate the change or adjustment it can be frustrating but nothing that has caused us too much admin to solve.

Pros

I liked Shopify Plus as an IT lead for their enterprise level security and the flexibility of the API. We were able to drop in our own custom checkout logic, SSO, and automated workflow without impacting perf.

Cons

The price scheme is steep, particularly for functions that often involve third-party apps. I also feel support response is slower during peak seasons.

Overall we are pretty happy with the platform, compared to the other platforms out there it suits our needs and helps us to manage our business and strategize for growth.

Pros

What I like the most, is that the platform is super intuitive for different levels of e-commerce professionals and entrepreneurs looking to start a business. Shopify grows with you are your business grows too, offering more features and functionalities to suit your needs.

Cons

One thing I do believe Shopify has a big room for improvement is the way to visualize reports, specially showing a way to visualize how different collections perform and within one collection which product is selling the best and the worst. And that by default shopify stores are slower compared to online stores built from scratch, developing.

The software has many users contributing to its platform and is very well documented, making it simple to find ways to customize your store. It is a very flexible, yet easy-to-use platform that can be customized in many ways. I have looked into other various solutions but Shopify offers the most our of the door. It offers many apps that can increase the functionality of the platform.

Cons

The Shopify Plus option is much more expensive than the previous options but offers a lot for the price.

I absolutely love working with Spotify plus. They are great features for your business and Has great ways to boost your business is online presence.

Pros

It’s extremely Fast and easy to set up a Shopify plus store. This app is indeed expensive but it’s great for businesses. I love that your online store well I have a trusted and reliable security. It’s also has a very good speed. Ruby programming language helps you to create Custom Promo’s when you are a Spotify plus Customer. Spotify plus helps you to get your business on a bigger scale really fast.

Cons

This platform is expensive. It does have a few problems with calculations and some basic data. But overall not that bad you can try it out.

So easy! Having been on a different platform for 3 years that operated on a break + fix model (something breaks, we spend money + time to fix. That in turn breaks something else, more time + money to fix, and the cycle continues), this platform operates like a dream. We actually get to optimize our site and spend time testing functions and driving the business.

Cons

some limitations as it relates to promos + discounts. Cannot use more than 1 discount code at a time. Cannot store a credit in a customer account. Cannot edit an order (now you can, but there are limitations).

Everything you are looking for in an ecom platform Great clean GUI Easy to Learn System Ability to scale and handle large amounts of traffic / orders

Cons

Nothing that I can think of, this blows every other ecom service out of the water

I really like using this software and how quick it is and provides the information I need to do my job.

Pros

I like being able to see customers orders and tracking all in one place. This is the go to software that we use at work to view order information. We also can view lifetime spend, whether a customer has created an account with us, and their rewards history.

Cons

The most negative factor is how often it has issues, it may be due to their server but it seems to have been happening often lately.Other than that, Shopify Plus is great and I love using this tool.

The Scripts Editor was the best part of Shopify Plus, especially around sales like Black Friday / Cyber Monday where you could do 'Buy One Get One' on special products

Cons

The limited special features of Shopify Plus can't be justified by the extra amount that they charge. We downgraded to the regular Shopify plan and don't miss anything.

I started an online store on shopify about 2 years ago. I watched a lot of videos on how to use it so the ease of use is easy because there's a lot of information available. My shopify store is my best form of passive income and the Shopify PLus software has made managing the store, orders and returns easy and fast

Cons

The learning curve may be a bit extensive for beginners but there's lots of videos to learn
