January 18, 2018 5.0 Pros What I most like on this platform is the community. You can easily contact and connect with someone that has the knowledge. Other point is the apps that you can connect. Several of them are free. Cons The lack of options in the product information and no deep log information when manage error it is something that I least liked. I highly recommend using it for your online business. It is very good to start our own store at an affordable price. Pros UI is easy to use for the normal user and navigations are very simple. It provides many third party integrations and the api support is like a cherry on top. Support is awesome. Cons It takes apply extra transaction charges for collecting payments from some country. Pros Shopify was one of the first few choices we made when starting the business and it has yet to let us down in its features or ease of use. It is also easy to manage products, inventory, and orders. Cons Almost nothing wrong with this platform because it is so easy to use and implement and you don't need a PHD to operate it. Before implementing, we went through demos from several eCommerce solution providers, and Shopify was by far the best options. Its integration and customization options set a hard to match standard for the industry. Pros Shopify is intuitive and easy to use. There are never hang ups and it has all of the functions necessary for our business to execute at a high level. Cons You definitely pay for what you get and it a little difficult to navigate to the Shopify Payments detail as you have to go through settings/payment options to get there. Cons There are parts that are not so friendly which really is important to take a look at, like being able to export your categories tree and compare it to your ERP catalog to see you have every product uploaded. Pros You can get some great templates for your store without having to pay someone to design one for you. I especially like that you can easily move styles around in each category to update the page. Customer service has been very helpful for any questions. Cons I don't have anything negative to say about Shopify. It works great for us and most importantly it's easy to use. Pros We already use shopify, we decided to upgrade to shopify plus mainly because we needed a wholesale platform to control and process wholesale orders. This does it for us. Plus it offers lower transactions fees which based on your order volume end up paying itself. Cons Even though the website and platform are good enough, if you try to add more detailed customization you will need a shopify developer. We've integrated with a new email platform that syncs up so well that it's going to make our marketing easier. I love how easy they catch profiles and their process. Pros It's easy to navigate. The first day I started to use it I was able to learn about profiles, set up automatic tagging, and go through my products to see the analytics. Cons Marketing area is a little clunky.
