Pros: You have the ability to answer company calls anywhere. The app makes it easy to take a receive calls on your mobile phone or desk top computer.

Cons: There are times when I run into connectivity issues. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the software or an internet related issue.

Pros: This phone system was very straightforward and I really like it's video calling and also it's ability to email voicemails.

Cons: Ultimately we were went with a service that was a little more cost-effective but other than that we didn't have any issues.

Pros: Great VoIP system that is easy to use and setup. I haven't had any issues with this and I can use it to easily make calls and get my job done.

Cons: It would be great if they paired with Execvision to track and record calls. Other than that I have no complaints.

Pros: these phones are easy to use & very easy to manage. the online website is so easy to use. we had so many issues with previous phone systems & this system has been a godsend. Customer service has been great!!

Overall: There is nothing I don't like about this system. It's easy to use & very easy to manage. Customer services is great!

Pros: I liked that the dial plan editor made setting up and adjusting the IVR much easier than previous softwares I've utilized. We also used to get a ton of junk calls and the ability to add call filters has really helped to clean those up. Jive also allows you to use your cell phone as the office phone if you want so you can still answer calls while working remotely. All around they have exceeded my expectations and I've really enjoyed implementing this with the team.

Cons: It can be difficult to start using Jive because many of the features are hard to find and set up correctly. We had to rely heavily on their support team and they were not very patient with us sometimes, which we didn't like. But they did help us solve the problem most of the time.

Pros: Has all the features you would want in a calling software. The ability to ping my cellphone is huge and was really impressed with all the options they have

Cons: Sometimes it has some glitchy instances where it won't forward my call to my cell phone or gets frozen and needs attention

Pros: I like that if you can dream it, you can do it with this software. There is literally nothing they could've possibly left out.

Cons: The cost, of course. I can't actually think of a con with the actual software itself! And I surely don't expect to get something like this for nothing.

Pros: I love Jive's voicemail to email service. It is really convenient to not have to long into my phone to listen to a message. Plus the return number is right there.

Cons: We have had a few outages that last a few hours but it hasn't happen that often. We call customer service they couldn't really explain why it was happening which was a little frustrating.

Pros: Very helpful support and friendly. Easy to use and deploy in the network.The follow me function is helpful as it can forward your calls to your mobile.

Cons: Some features of the software needs to be updated as they are very limited. Setting up dial plan can be confusing to setup at first.

Pros: The Jive team's customer service is fantastic - their people are not only willing to help, but they do so patiently and then ask how ELSE they can help. Their app integration works well. Their prices are very reasonable.

Cons: Having trouble getting the VOIP calls to be clear through our wireless system because we have a Comcast router. I'm not sure if other services would have this issue with Comcast as well... Their desktop app "Jitsi" is very glitchy - answering calls can be hit or miss, depending on if you have the right browser open.

Pros: The ability to add new phone numbers at will and expedite our onboarding process within the office, or with our remote employees!

Cons: Sometimes the system goes down and no phone calls can be made, but that is the nature of this type of voice system.

Overall: The ability to seemlessly onboard new employees with phone services at the click of a button!

Comments: Not worth the risk to using Jive

Pros: Good technology when it works. Better make sure internet and electrical is perfect. Offer a lot as long as it works.....

Cons: Support is 50/50. Had a total down situation. Took hours to get help. Dropped from phone system and phone rang and rang. Never answered

Pros: Having ONE application to interact with all employees AND customers. Video calling is without a doubt the best way to answer questions from customers when it comes to the visual aspect of construction. It allows us to assess the situation twice as fast and it puts our customers at ease. We use this application strictly for non intake customers. I cannot tell you how nice it is to not give out our personal cell phones or have them get tied up or put on hold in our old multi line phone.

Cons: Sometimes the call quality cuts out, which can be frustrating during service calls. Customer service can be a bit of a hassle as well.

Comments: The people at Jive from sales to tech to support are all fantastic.

Pros: Jive provided a cloud-based phone solution that allows us to convert voicemails to emails and send them directly to our work order system.

Cons: I wish it came with an email component of its own. It was the one feature we were hoping to find but the companies that offered it were outside of our budget.

Jive has been a huge help in making things easier for our office phone system.

Cons: Some of my users find it more difficult to transfer calls to other extensions since they can't pick up the user on hold from another extension.

Comments: Love the Soft Phones (PC Phone w/bluetooth headset) feature. Love voicemail to email also. So many great features. Highly recommend.

Pros: This product is feature-riched and easy to use. I compared it to several cloud-based companies/products and it was the best of what I reviewed.

Cons: None that I could see. With any cloud-based solution, a backup (internet) connection should be implemented which could make the solution a little costly.

Comments: Before I switched to Jive, I was using another phone system. I loved them, but they weren't providing customer support. Customer support is a big thing for me. And, I think switching to Jive was the best thing I ever did for my company. I never want to leave Jive. One of their sales representatives Todd Stay made me want the phone system by convincing, but it was my type of convincing. And, then I got to work with this person named Karen Tribett who onboarded me, and she helped me so my onboarding. Then the best part is, I have the best support team here for me 24/7. The only thing about the support team is that I would have them fix more issues, and not have to wait for the dev team to fix the issues. That's it. Thank you for reading!

Pros: Customer support, simplicity of use, people to help you onboard, and most features out of any phone system for the best price.

Cons: The only thing that I saw is that I had to wait a long time for an issue to be fixed, and I can only fax 5-10 pages at a time.

Pros: Patient customer service. Stay with you until problem is solved. Staff is very well educated and knows how to solve problems.

Cons: None. I have not had any bad experiences. Anytime I have had an issue, customer service has stayed on the line until issue resolved.

Pros: We have used Jive for at least 4 years now, and are quite happy. I LOVE how we can just take a phone, plug it into the internet, and no matter where we are, we have an office. This is particularly valuable as we continue our growth, so we move into larger offices frequently, including opening an office in Puerto Rico. Their customer service is as good as it gets, always prompt and easy fixes. And the sound quality is unbelievable, its like they are in the room with you! I have recommended Jive many times.

Cons: Only bad thing is every few months we have to unplug and replug in a phone to reboot it. And if internet goes down, so does the phone.

Comments: Jive Communications is a pleasure to work with. In the many months we used the unified voice, video, web conferencing, and mobility solutions. Jive Communications provided our enterprise with HIGH quality service coupled with SUPERB customer service. The customer service and account management personnel were exceptionally supportive, and always sought to ensure we had the highest quality service, while ensuring our issues were solved completely. Comments: We have been using Jive for a year now. We wanted a solution that would integrate with our CRM. Our previous VOIP solution was unable to do so. On top of this capability, Jive costs us about $/line less. Voice quality is excellent, if I am out of the office the line rings through to my cell, and as far as the caller is concerned, I am in my office. I was able to port my lines from the previous company without a hassle. Set up was easy, and support has been excellent. If there is one drawback it is the fax system. It is a bit clunky to use. However, as we do not send many faxes it has not been a big issue.

Cons: Fax system is not very user friendly Jive desktop still in Beta

Recommendations to other buyers: You owe it to yourself to try out this VOIP provider It is very business friendly. While it may not be as polished as some of the more.... seasoned offerings, it has a wonderful call routing set up interface. Voice quality is excellent, and their support center is very responsive.

Comments: I have used Jive's VoIP system to run a Customer Service business for two years. Their online system is pretty simple to set up. Their support people were very helpful when I have had questions. Jive's fees are reasonable and affordable for a small start up business.

Pros: Efficient. Ease of setup. Ability to get calls while away from my office. Recordings of voicemail sent to an email account.

Cons: Some parts of setup were not intuitive.

Comments: Jive Communications is very customer service focused. They show genuine care and concern when I contact them and they follow up, accordingly. The Associates are professional, polite and responsive. What I really like is that they welcome and embrace their customers' feedback. They have made numerous enhancements to their system over the last few months, which I have found to be very helpful and beneficial and they continue to work on making additional enhancements.

Comments: We have been using Jive for almost a year. We started with only one phone for our helpdesk. We needed a way to transfer a single phone number between people to cover weekend and holidays. We previously had to drive to the building and make a forwarding change on a desk phone. By switching to a web PBX we can just login and make any changes necessary. We are now using the service for our Speakerphones and mobile staff.

Pros: We can have a single phone number to serve several shifts, even if they aren't in the same geographic region. We can use the smartphone app or forward the calls to one or more people, or all simultaneously. Adding phones is nearly painless, most users don't need to any new wiring, and you don't need to hire a technician.

Cons: We have occasionally had call quality issues, but this is more a reflection on the internet provider than on Jive. If you don't have an internet connection you can't make or receive a call, but again, this is an internet provider issue, not Jive.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for a way to manage mobile staff, and not break the bank, this is a great service. If you want to replace 100 phones in a single building, and don't want to install a complicated system, this is a great service.

Comments: We've had a great experience so far with Jive PBX. We are a small independent agent insurance office, with no tech support. The sales rep provided a great cost saving opportunity, and made sure we understood the VOIP concept by providing an in-depth explanation of how the new phones and service work, made sure our Cisco routers and internet connections would be suitable for the Jive products and provided new phones at a great discount. The implementation team configured all the phones per our users before they arrived on site. And the technical support was on hand via cell phone and the web as we connected to the Jive system, helped us configure our internal call routers for best call quality, and turned on our phones. Customer and technical support are just a web chat away with the very little wait time.

Pros: Support, both customer service, and technical support are usually very quick to engage.

Cons: Jive app for cell phones. Doesn't seem to work.

Comments: I recently switched from Time Warner landline phone to Jive VOIP. The switch was fairly painless. We had to figure out some features and settings but Jive Tech Support was awesome and very patient.

Comments: We have had only a minor amount of issues compared to our previous telephone system. We left our old system very frustrated and disappointed with their service, from customer support to product usage. Our experience with Jive has been the complete opposite.

Pros: Customer support has always been very helpful and gets our issues resolved in a timely and friendly manner.

Cons: The only issue we see with this problem, which is not a big deal at all, is that certain technical aspects of its settings and features may be too complicated. This is easily resolved by asking the technical support department.

Comments: Overall it is a good product. After you figure out all the features you need and learn where to set it up.

Pros: It's in the cloud. Price is okay. Pretty easy to use

Cons: They don't have they own client to use. Have get Jitsi or Bria depending on what you need.

Comments: I was enormously impressed with the customer support that Jive offered at every stage beginning with the explanation of its services and pricing, the help and consideration in arranging the porting over of my telephone numbers from a previous office address, help with setting up the telephone equipment including tutorials session offered by Jive and most significantly continued customer support which immediately responded to my various questions concerning the operation of the phones, fax capability and other technical questions that arose. Jive took an enormous amount of time to walk my assistant Anthony Petrizzo through the setting up of a remote wireless connection that was unique to my circumstances and required a great deal of technical expertise and significant patience.

Pros: Customer support.

Cons: Sometimes the calls disconnect when dialing if I do not enter all of the telephone numbers immediately. Possibly an adjustment can be made.

Jive is 100% Awesome.

Comments: I appreciate how Jive has taken the idea of having an office phone system and improved upon it. The ability setup custom settings, check voicemails and view company directories online is very helpful. Also, the digital call clarity is second-to-none. I have never struggled to understand anyone on my office phone.

Comments: We started on Jive when there were only four of us and we're still going strong at twelve. Our team relies on phone and inbound/outbound as a key part of our business. Jive's been very reliable and incredibly responsive when any hiccup has occurred. We have also benefited from Jive's willingness to allow us to participate in beta programs for SMS and Web Softphone which our team members really like.

Pros: Easy to provision new users, lines, and numbers Mobile app works great Rich dial plan editor Capable of main line, toll free, and direct dial all simultaneously

Cons: Getting Cisco SPA 303's set up to work with Jive is arduous. Troubleshooting can be difficult as there are so many configurable options with Jive.

Recommendations to other buyers: Avoid traditional handsets if you can! If you can convince your workforce to use the mobile app and their smartphone or the Web softphone, they're immediately portable and will get used to working from anywhere. The moment you cave and get one person a handset, everyone will want one. Make sure your computers are hard-wired to Internet and you have plenty of upload bandwidth.

Comments: We are a school with 4 locations and Jive gave us a very competitive quote for 50 phones and devices. There were a few surprises (needing additional equipment for fax machine and security system) but other than that, Jive was great to work with and the support has been excellent. https://spatech.edu gives you a better idea of the environment we are operating in.

Pros: The clarity and ease of management with the dashboard gives me easy control of re-configuring the system when we make changes.

Cons: Some of my users find it more difficult to transfer calls to other extensions since they can't pick up the user on hold from another extension.

Recommendations to other buyers: You are probably better off keeping a phone line for your POS, Security and fax interface rather than trying to us the internet.

Comments: Really have appreciated Jive and the service they provide. We had a very difficult time in the very beginning with the quality of service. But we determined that it was partially due to Brighthouse in our area and not Jive per se. We spent many hours trouble shooting the garbled and or "underwater" sound we were experiencing on phone calls....including dropped calls. The remedy finally was to add a separate Brighthouse cable line designated just for the VoIP phone system and it corrected the issue. Jive worked alongside us tirelessly to try to fix the issue on their end...but it wasn't their issue in the end. I would definitely recommend them if you are going with a VoIP system. The ease of their programming plus the innumerable options are superior.

Pros: The ease of programming and customer service.

Cons: We have to pay for two separate cable lines into the building to accommodate using 8 computer workstations and 8 phone systems simultaneously.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get a designated cable line for the phone system if you have more than a couple computers and phones!

Comments: We are a small business who has tried several VOIP services. Without an exception they have all be disastrous until we switched to Jive. The folks at Jive walked us through setup, have helped us make changes as our needs have changed and resolved issues in one call. We are very pleased with the service. Jive helps us stay in-touch with our team and our clients we could not ask for more. They are priced very well which is a concern for all small businesses. Comments: Jive is a great company to work with. The phone system was easy to install and their customer service agents are experienced, fast and very friendly. They exceeded our expectations and I would recommend them to companies of any size. It was easy to add and remove users and phones. Using Jive for our phone system was one of the best decisions we made. Comments: Our church was on the lookout for a PBX solution. One of the challenges we found was that many of our staff were out in the field so often there would be no one to answer the church phone. The other challenge we faced is we did not want to be paying a huge monthly fee because we work with a lot of low-income people and did not have a lot of money to spend on a solution. After talking with a person from Software Advice we were given two options to follow up on. We ended up choosing Jive PBX because they offered incredible service, great tools at a very reasonable price. Our current setup now is that when people call the church and no one answers, they hear from an automated attendant offering to connect them to the right person. The call then gets forwarded to the persons mobile phone. The great thing about Jive is they charge per physical device connected to their system and not per virtual extension. This means that at the moment we only pay for one Jive phone line. However, we can forward calls to as many non-jive mobile phones as we want without an additional cost. They are also very flexible allowing you to add or remove devices depending on your needs. Therefore when summer comes and we hire more staff we plan on adding more jive phone lines. When the summer is over we can cancel the additional lines. In terms of quality, their voice quality is excellent. I was concerned that the VOIP quality might not be as good considering the home VOIP services I have tried in the past. Because of these concerns I took a few months to try out the VOIP quality with our staff and clients. We also tested the automated attendant at the same time. The staff have been very impressed with how well it works both in terms of quality and ease of use. This is why we are going ahead with the Jive deployment. Their customer service is amazing. There have been a few minor issues that we encountered but they were very good about sorting it out. One issue involved a delay in receiving our phones from them. However, after I called them, they acknowledged the error on their part and did an express delivery at no additional charge to us. Another issue had to do with billing. We had an issue where we were being charged for two lines but we only wanted one. They were good about sorting out and refunding the additional line. The issue turned out to be due to our initial quote asking for two phone lines and ordering two phones they assumed we wanted the two phone lines right away. However, I had asked for a second quote with only one phone line, knowing that in the summer we would go to two lines. This is why I ordered the second phone even though we didn't plan on using it. All of us would prefer that everything go smoothly with a deployment. However, I am very happy to know that if something doesn't go right, that Jive team has an amazing support setup to get things sorted out. They have great user interface for setting up PBX solutions. It is a drag and drop interface that anyone can use. I was very impressed by how simple it was to set up and route calls. They also have great training to help you get started. Overall, I would highly recommend Jive Communication PBX. We have used them in the small business case but I can see that they could scale well for large organisations. We are very happy Jive Communication clients.

Pros: * Very reasonable cost. * Great Customer Service * Free virtual extensions (forwarding to mobile phones) * Easy to use web interface. * Good voice quality

Cons: * Some issues with billing (but they got that sorted out) * Fax service is not as easy to use. * Slower delivery with phones (but that was due to a glitch in their system)

Recommendations to other buyers: If your needs our similar to our needs I would highly recommend using Jive. I would suggest a staged approach where you first get a VOIP phone and try out their service. If you are happy with it, then forward your existing number to them and have your staff / clients try it out. If all that goes well then port your number to Jive. I believe you will be very happy with their service.

Pros: We have used Jive in our office for several years and the service has worked well. A nice feature of their service is that we can host conference calls at our office number by simply setting up a designated extension. This has been helpful when working with clients and not having to worry about setting up a special conference call number and password. We can simply say, call our office.

Cons: There were some errors in their invoices recently. While it was all cleared up, it required numerous calls and messages from our office to follow up and make sure that things were taken care of.

Recommendations to other buyers: In looking at other VOIP services, they all seemed to have similar features and options based at similar price points. So, like many services that one might consider, I recommend looking at customer reviews to see how the company performs.

Pros: We moved over to Jive approximately two years ago. This move eliminated the need to have business lines AND cell phones. By having all our business lines forwarded to cell phones we reduced our overall phone costs by almost 75%. WE no longer have any business lines into our office and only use personal cell phones The initial set up was fairly easy, and the customer support and troubleshooting was very good. By moving over to Jive we had no down time when we moved to a new office location as our phone lines were already being forwarded to individual cell phones. Overall we are very pleased with the customer service provided by Jive and their service.

Cons: Don't have any complaints to speak of. Their follow through is very good, as well as customer service.

Recommendations to other buyers: I really can't think of any issues at this time....and do not have any experience with other similar software vendors.

Pros: The voice quality of the phone calls is excellent, and the standard features are great. I like the fact that my business line automatically rings through to my cell phone. This has allowed me to provide even better client service.

Cons: Nothing; they have far surpassed an expectations. In my search, I also had several conversations with Ooma. Ooma couldn't hold a candle to Jive's offering in many aspects.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples. Ooma promised their service was similar/better, but reality couldn't have been further from the truth.

Pros: I've been using Jive for almost 2 years now and have been satisfied from the beginning. Our outdated system allowed us little flexibility and was quite expensive. With Jive we're able to change our hold system quite easily, as well as our voice mail message, etc. Jive is also great with providing statistics on calls received/made that can be quite useful, depending on the size of one's business. When I have needed technical assistance it's been fairly quick and I can understand everything they're telling me. I've been through a number of communications providers (with both my business and home) and I've been more satisfied with Jive than I have been with any other provider.

Cons: There was nothing about this product that I found to be negative.

Pros: Jive Communications has offered great customer support as our company moved from a brick and mortar office arrangement to a virtual office arrangement. Jive gave us a 60 day free trail period using their service with one of our own IP phones when we were evaluating our change to a new provider. Then they helped me program, upgrade and move my phone, fax, and fax to email. They have been very responsive to any issues I have had, including my own home internet giving me issues with a business internet phone. They have great follow-up on any trouble tickets, making sure the problem is resolved before they close the ticket. Their customer service is some of the best I have encountered.

Cons: Occasional garbled sound from the other side of the phone. last time we diagnosed, discovered it was an internet problem and have not had an issue since.

Recommendations to other buyers: We are not a high volume call company so I am not sure what you would experience in this is set up. I really like their customer support.

Pros: The versatility and adaptability of this system is super. Customer service is always responsive and helpful.

Cons: The accounting department is difficult to access by phone. I had difficulty finding someone to give our credit card number to so they could auto pay our phone bill.

Pros: They were very flexible with my account structure and supportive of my technical requests during deployment. I felt like my technical requests were advanced for as small as our company and therefore account is with Jive. But they supported the requests quickly and with no resistance.

Cons: Nothing so far; they've been great and I have had no issues with the service.

Pros: Responsiveness and ease of use. The product is actually as easy to use as the demos make it look, and their customer service goes far beyond that of most communications companies. If you open a trouble ticket, Jive comes back and checks with you five to seven business days after the issue is resolved to see if you are having any residual issues, and they continue to follow up until the issue is fully resolved.

Cons: The initial wait (hold time) for support via phone can take longer than you would expect. They do have online chat support that can be instant, but for troubleshooting technical issues, I prefer to call.

Pros: The online portal is super easy to use and intuitive.

Cons: The call service has been spotty at times, even on my home connection, which has a very solid internet connection.

Recommendations to other buyers: I like to balance all the features against the call quality and service. I like that Jive could probably scale really well to my entire team if we decided to implement it further. The online tools are attractive and well designed.

Pros: I like the Hosted PBX and the control that you have over your system. The customer support is out of this world amazing! You always get a live person that is excited to help you. And let's not forget how great the pricing is.

Cons: I can't think of one thing that I don't like.

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep Jive in mind when you are looking for a new integrated phone solution. We grew from a mom and pop situation to a company of 16 restaurants.

Pros: Jive customer support is great! We have been using them for over a year now, and we are very satisfied with the technical support and the ease of using the interface portal. Our company is rapidly growing, and Jive is able to manage all our systems with only a few clicks!

Cons: On a few occasions, our billing was not correct, but Jive immediately corrected the problem and stayed in communication with us until the matter was resolved.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great tool for companies big or small. The system is easy scaled up or down. We have used a few other PBX systems in the past, and Jive offers the best features with crystal clear call quality.

Pros: Jive PBX has an easy to use web portal.

Cons: Nothing yet. I've not had any problems with the service since I took over as Net Admin.

Pros: I like the cost to get started and the easy implementation to transition to their system.

Cons: No problems at this time. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time to evaluate the needs of your organization before calling call center support companies. We reviewed the features page on Jive's website, and this exceeded our needs currently and offered additional growth opportunities.

Pros: It has all the features I wanted, excellent customer support, and better than I could have expected call quality. The 10 rating comes especially due to their Jive Mobility app. Since we work remotely and from laptops, there's no need for physical office hardware.

Cons: I dislike the earning curve of a technically sophisticated system.

Recommendations to other buyers: Expect excellent help, but also read the manual. Once you get it, it's not so bad. Customer support knows me by my first name now.

Pros: I like the easy-to-use, web-based admin interface. Also, they are friendly and attentive customer service, even on weekends

Cons: They should inform customers when doing product/software upgrades, as there can be isolated issues for customers (myself included, on one occasion)

Recommendations to other buyers: If consistency of phone numbers across team members is important, make sure to lease a few extra numbers so you can grow with ease.

Pros: All calls and emails are answered by techs who speak English as a first language and are always available in my time zone. Our service works well, and we are saving a significant amount each month on phone service.

Pros: We have used PBX equipment in our business for years, and although it has worked well for us, the equipment was expensive, and we needed lots of phones and phone lines. We had previously tried VoIP twice but had too many problems, and the vendors didn't seem to understand that our business lives and dies by the telephone! This system has reduced our costs dramatically and has been rock solid. I wish we'd had it 10 years ago!

Cons: So far, there is nothing about this product or the vendor that I don't like!

Recommendations to other buyers: It's a great system, and my recommendation for others considering this system is to implement it sooner than later.

Pros: I love how easy it is to sit at your computer with a headset and make and take phone calls without messing with a complicated phone system or a bulky receiver.

Cons: There really isn't much I don't like. It's easy to use and understand. The vendor seems great.

Pros: It's easy to use, and the support is great. When we hire a new employee, we call up, get a new number, get a phone shipped out, the phone gets plugged in, and it works. We have employees now in Utah, Washington, Texas, Chicago, Hawaii, and Hong Kong (using a US number), and the phones work as though we were all in the same office. Even to Hong Kong, there is no delay or quality issue. If there is ever a question or something that needs to be modified, we call in, and the issue is taken care of quickly.

Cons: Not sure. I guess I'd always be happier if it were cheaper, but that's only if I absolutely had to come up with something.

Pros: It offers a professional phone interchange that is affordable for small businesses. It's easy to use and flexible, and it can forward to cell phones, etc., so you can get calls wherever you are. I'm so glad we found Jive!

Cons: I really can't think of anything. It has worked so well for us.

Pros: I like the fact that our phone system no longer needs a full time person to manage it. Jive is simple to use, completely reliable, and no one knows that we are not using copper lines because the quality is good. I looked at all the other options before settling on Jive, and we are so glad we did!

Cons: What is not to like? It has a reasonable price with no long-term commitments, setup was quick and easy, and we don't have downtime.

Recommendations to other buyers: Skip the rest and go here. We spent days looking at all the hosted options. Take advantage of their trial and see what you think. There are so few obstacles that I don't see any downside. Make sure to call their support line and the competitor's support lines. You will find out quickly whether you can get help when you need it or not.

Pros: As an end user, I don't have time to mess with the technical aspects of a phone system. Just let me use the system and hide all the mumbo jumbo. That is exactly what Jive does! The end user portal makes customizing my voicemail and options extremely easy, and once they are done, I rarely have to go back in for anything at all.

Cons: Nothing. So far I have not been given any reason to not like Jive.

Recommendations to other buyers: I understand that IT guys need to understand every nook and cranny of a system before implementation. However, don't forget to have an end user evaluate. After all, we have to use the system day in and day out. Having a phone system should enable business to be done, not get in the way. Jive just works.

Pros: I work at a large condominium building, and having a superior phone system to communicate with residents and vendors is extremely important. If I ever have an issue (which I rarely do), the customer support team at Jive is always there and happy to resolve my issue in a timely manner. Jive has a superior product, and I would recommend their services in the future.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. I have nothing negative to say about Jive Communications.

Recommendations to other buyers: Technical support and accessible help are huge. If a problem occurs, it's very important to be able to resolve the issue at once; Jive does this.

Pros: I'm a new Jive user and have to say that this service is stellar. The user interface just works and is very intuitive; the service is crystal clear, and the support has been nothing short of fantastic.

Cons: I have yet to run across a single negative aspect of this vendor or product.

Recommendations to other buyers: For others evaluating cloud-based SIP providers, make sure that you know what you are getting into. Jive offers a great feature set, including a mobile app, great interface, and fantastic support. Not all cloud SIP providers are created equal. I know; I set this stuff up for a living.

Pros: We moved for the first time without phone disruption last year. This was not the case with the 3 previous moves with landlines, no matter how much time I spent with the phone companies. We can choose between desk phones, a mobile phone app, and a PC app. Making changes like adding users is as easy as logging in to a website and clicking through a wizard. I can completely change my dial plan, ring groups, etc. on the web! Support is always available for anything that can't be done online or just for help.

Cons: The call quality depends on our internet. Any internet issues mean phone issues.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have solid internet, do not hesitate. The issues we've had with our internet pale in comparison to waiting a week for AT&T to fix the phone lines their tech broke.

Pros: Jive has a stable calling platform, and the customer service makes getting questions answered easy. The setup was a snap, the cost savings were big, and if I needed help, it was there.

Cons: It takes a little while to get to tech support, but they are super helpful once you get them.

Pros: I like the ease of implementation and the fact that they have local (Orem, UT-based) support people and not people overseas. It is so simple to use that we no longer have a "phone guy."

Cons: Like least? Uh, that it isn't free. That is about it. We LOVE Jive.

Recommendations to other buyers: If your business lives and dies with its phone service, don't opt for the cheapest. Jive is certainly very competitive, but there are cheaper options. Those cheaper options did not offer the support nor reliability that Jive offers.
