### "LP is a good option"

Pros

Lendingpad as an LOS is a strong system. I don't have any questions about whether I'm doing a loan that is compliant with QM and it tracks everything. It has robust reporting and can has countless rules customizations. The strong point with LP is that they integrate with practically anyone.

Cons

My ONLY critique of LP is their POS. Of all the features that need improvement that is the one. Competing systems have a built in POS with realtor portal. With LP the only way to get that is to pay another subscription to another company and even then the data feed in most cases is only one way.

Reason for choosing LendingPad

ARIVE is a closed ecosystem and needed Zapier for any integrations. I also wasn't comfortable with who was behind the development of that system at the time.

### "Lending Pad- It has come a long way!"

Overall Lending Pad has gotten better and cleaner. They seem to be addressing issues and fixing and adding. However it is still a cumbersome system & overloaded. It should almost be a CRM the way it works but its not and that's too bad. The only reason its used is because the companies use it and its mandatory- however its not my preference. As much info as its capable off - it makes no sense that it cannot be better used.

Pros

I don't like much about anything in Lending Pad. I believe it is necessary however for us to use and have. I will say this in its defense - it has been improving . Its functionality is just odd and doesn't really flow smoothly. Again I do commend them though, they are trying to improve it and fix the quirks we get and for me that's a plus.

Cons

A lot of things are not great for me. The NOTEs section is really bad- you cannot change or edit even when you misspell words. If you forget to put something n you have to go back and add another note- its really choppy. The flow isn't really smooth as I see it. We always have to dig for things in the application and throughout the process. There are so many tabs and maybe not enough as there is so much going on that you can't figure out where to go to find what you need. The application for the borrower is not the greatest from what I get from them in feedback. Sometimes its easier If I take the app over the phone so they don't have to struggle as they say. We do know borrowers that are not techy can get overwhelmed- but really the whole functionality should be better distributed.

Pros

Reasonable price, flexible pricing per seat, no long term commitments, no set-up fee, plug-n-play, web-based, easy to onboard new hires. Document management.

Cons

No mobile capabilities, mobile app is useless, no functionality. POS needs a lot of improvement.

### "LendingPad changed my life"

Very good. I was able to stop moving between windows to qualify a loan. Integrates with POS and collects documents for me.

Pros

Ease of use and integrations with other tools like AUS and credit report.

Cons

eSign does not allow signatures for those not on the loan. And it’s $2 per envelope. Adds up quick

### "Best LOS I’ve ever used"

Overall, an excellent experience!

Pros

It’s very intuitive. Training videos are straightforward and easily digestible. Online support chat is excellent!

Cons

The income has to be fixed every time. The actual annual income shows up as the monthly and has to be corrected. Often Seller contributions don’t “stick” and have to be re-entered. The only other real complaint is I can’t figure out how to get a DPA program entered correctly, so I have to work around those.

Pros

I like how easy it is to imput files and run AUS. I like docusign.

Cons

The disclosures are awful to input and to find in the print section. It slows the process down so much.

Pros

Easy to use and web based so I can work while traveling.

Cons

I don’t like that I have to constantly clear my cache while working in Lending Pad in order to save data, then it shuts down and I have to log back in. I wish they would fix that. My processor has the same problem

This ultimately is so that your browser can run quicker rather than slowing down every time you visit a site. Ultimately the cache stores all of the downloadable information from any site you browse. However, because it stores all this information to make sure your browsing is up to speed, it also means it does occasionally need to be cleared to make sure if there are any changes to the downloaded information it does not cause a glitch. Very good experience. The system makes general tasks & flow easy.

Pros

Efficient workflow management. Easy to learn/master. Customizable fields and workflow rules to maximize adherence to best practices.

Cons

Some limitations on how reports can be generated. Custom fields are clustered together rather than giving us the ability to arrange them with similar stock fields. Inability of the company admin to manage availability of system fields for use in reports & rules. Admin could most effectively define that functionality relative to system performance needs.

Overall it is good - just needs more tweaking. We requested the things mentioned above when we first started with LPad 2 years ago and still nothing has been done on them

Pros

We like that everything is digital and can be accessed from any computer. I like that multiple people can work in a file at one time

Cons

There are some basic things missing or hard to deal with in the system. Example - there is no way amortization tables nor calculators to show what extra payments can do, no place to see breakdown of principle vs interest, Changing from one amortization to another requires program changes and that is tedious at times when running numbers with clients, miss having a button for interest only vs having to change program all together, didnt like having to set up all the programs myself

That I can work on my loans in one place.

Cons

Duplicate submissions are really annoying and there isn't anything in place to prevent these. Sometimes, 4 applications come in for the same person and then we have to clean up all of that which takes time away from us.

It has been a great experience, I highly recommend as it is a user friendly LOS with good features and the best customer service team!

Pros

BEST customer service! We love the real time help through the live chats if we are stuck on a function. We switched from Calyx/Point after 20+ years, due to the URLA conversion and have never looked back and the ciustomer service as LendingPad is TRULY AMAZING!

Cons

There are a few small tweaks, that would make it better, but they aren’t possible or in the future, but nothing we can’t live without.

Not a lot. There are a dozen little features i would like to see but its very good.

### "My experience with Lending Pad"

I am very pleased I made the move a couple years ago!

Pros

Lending Pad is very easy to use and manage compared to my prior LOS by Ellie Mae used for too many years. Integration to Lending Pad was not a difficult process. I create custom forms to be efficient and was able to also do this when I transferred to Lending Pad. Also. being able for more than one person to work on a loan file in the office or remotely was a big plus for me!

Cons

An LOS is an evolving program. I do not have complaints and make suggestions as needed.

Reason for choosing LendingPad

I started with The Loan Handler in 1997 that became Elie Mae. After many years, I was more than ready to make a change to my LOS. I considered the Byte product introduced to me at NAMB Vegas, and by "chance" met Wes from Lending Pad at the NAMB booth. Wes gave me a brief demonstration on the spot and was impressed by the easy of use, simplicity, and lower cost. It's been two years and I never looked back!

### "Lending pad needs a lot of work"

I've been in the mortgage business since 1999. Lending Pad is the worst LOS I've worked in. I'll just throw in the fact that in your drop downs for this survey, for "what is your business" there are like 30 categories, 28 of which don't even remotely apply to mortgage loan origination! I realize this survey is a third party service, but couldn't you "pony up" a couple of bucks to add "loan officer" or "loan originator?" If I were not mandated by NEXA to use your product, I would have trashed it after 2 loan files.

Pros

I don't see any that outweigh the "cons."

Cons

Numbers get transposed when uploading to the lender portal. e.g I've had ss# space populated by cell phone numbers. There is no option to create templates. Every file needs each fee manually input every time. We have no real interface with lenders or investors. It times out way to fast. No ability to switch company profiles i.e I'm a NEXA broker AND an AXEN (mini corr) branch manager. Therefore I, my business partner, any processor or LOA, needs 2 sets of credentials. e.g If while in my NEXA profile, and I also need to access an AXEN loan, I can't open a second window and log into my AXEN LP. If I try this, the NEXA LP window logs out. If I had more time, I could tell you about more problems. The real point of me even replying is to see how serious you are about "getting feedback." My guess is I'll hear crickets from you after I hit "send."

Choose LendingPad becuase of the flexible pricing, no contract, online based LOS, the interface, along with the seamless flexibility with Fannie/Freddie/Funding Suite.

### "LOVE processing portal"

One thing that I really like is that there is the chat feature and someone is always there. If they can not figure it out via the chat, they go into a Zoom meeting with you. It's fast and helps fix the issue in real-time.

Pros

What I love most about LendingPad is that I get to have all of my files in one centrally located LOS. Even if the Loan officer is not signed up with LendingPad, I can invite them to upload their file and I have all files in front of me at all times. I love not having to log out and log into other LOS systems

Cons

I don't have admin rights to a few accounts and this causes an issue with being able to add contacts. Because I can't add contact information, it makes it hard to order things such as Title thru LendingPad

### "Good if and when they step up their support game"

Needs to be more user-friendly, not very intuitive and you will need a good bit of training/setup to get going to full functionality. Simple things like bulk uploads of files need to be implemented because uploading your old files one at a time then the need to go into each file and set the LO as the correct person in charge of each loan is very time consuming then the lack of support when I needed them caused me to switch to one of their competitors (Arive). Zero response from billing department so be cautious of paying this for the full year because they will ghost you and do not offer any money back guarantee or even partial refund.

Pros

Some good features overall if you can get the support in a timely fashion to utilize them. Their ideas are good in general and tools can be helpful if you can either figure it out yourself or have the patience to wait for days for answers to simple requests.

Cons

I wanted to love LendingPad because it has some good functionality and the ideas they have implemented seem good on the surface, then there is the issue of submitting support tickets and them being prematurely closed when the solution to your problem is not provided. They took my money and ran and when it came down to having a simple conversation about my issues nobody was there to pick up the phone when you call, ever. Why have a phone number when you are not willing to speak to your customers. Multiple support tickets were closed without us having a resolution so it appears they really need to hire a lot more employees to manage their support tickets in a timely fashion

I didn't stick with LendingPad, ultimately switched to Arive.

### "BROKERS BEWARE - Not Needed"

I had a terrible experience with LendingPad I was told that disclosures would be automated by the sales rep and when I signed up I saw that they were not. In less then 10 days I asked for a refund because at that point I do not need the service, being a broker all the lenders let you use their software to do everything LendingPad does anyways. It completely pointless to re-enter the software twice, in the training they literally recommended to use another company for the POS.

Pros

I honestly do not have any, I tried to get a refund but they do not stand behind their product and service.

Cons

They do not back there service up and force you to sign up for a year

Dear Mr. Francis A, Our CSR team had advised you how to download and send disclosures from the system. You kept on stating that you wanted to automate the disclosures but without providing details. We do have certain rules you can put in to automate at different milestones however you did not attend a one-on-one session for setup assistance. At a later correspondence, you indicated that you will just use an outside POS instead. While we respect your choice to save money, however, a LOS is very important for the mortgage brokerage business. It serves as system-of-record for your origination, compliance, and processing needs. It also ensures high loan manufacturing quality as your team grows. As our CSR explained to you, the setup fee is not refundable once the portal is setup. We are sorry you did not have a good experience. Our annual survey indicated a 95% neutral/positive rating and we will be using this feedback to further improve our service. LendingPad Client Care
