### "Small Nonprofit Review of Givebutter"

Great! Wonderful donor system, especially for a small nonprofit.

Pros

The backend user Dashboard is very simple and user friendly. The giving platform is easy to use for donors. The additional tools to engage donors are great, and provide a robust and good looking platform for a variety of events/needs. Customer service is phenomenal and always helpful! As a small nonprofit with only a few employees, Givebutter allows me to focus on my other tasks and not spend hours on the donor tools.

Cons

As with any platform, we wish there were no fees, but we understand the need for these.

We are so pleased with our experience so far with Givebutter and plan to continue utilizing this platform.

Pros

This is a very user friendly platform. We use this on our website and have received a lot of donations so far.

Cons

I love the ease of access to transferring funds however, the platform auto fills in the response to donating a percentage of our donations to 3%. I believe this should be auto filled to 0%

### "Good Product for Our Non-Profit Needs"

Overall we are happy with our change to Givebutter, we just wish we could have access to the money a bit faster.

Pros

The capture and recording of payor information is very helpful. Setting up events/campaigns has been pretty user-friendly as well.

Cons

The turnover time to actually receive the funding is pretty long. With our previous service, the turnover (and therefore access to the money) was almost immediate.

### "Makes Donor Recording Easy"

My experience has been pleasant. My position does not require me to use Givebutter in my daily tasks but it is helpful to reference the information when I need it.

Pros

It is easy to use and easy to navigate. The program is intuitive and simple to figure out without extra training.

Cons

I have not found anything which I do not like at this point.

We really like the event page options, and ease of use. And all the different ways to pay, plus text to donate, QR codes and more! And we have a free program. This is exceptional. People have liked donating on the platform.

Pros

Easy to use, lots of options to use it right away that are included in the free access to the program.

Cons

People doing events are having trouble seeing everything for their event, even though I have invited them to have access. The Givebutter card reader that I was sent last year, and software is really dependent on someone having Samsung or Apple phones, and the latest models, not other brands of android. This is a challenge. I am not sure how to have matching donors, or recurrent donors.

### "A+ Platform, Highly Recommend"

Givebutter has been a great experience overall, the user-friendly platform has literally been smooth like butter. :-)

Pros

I am currently loving that we can use Givebutter to make our annual fundraising Silent Auction virtual. This is going to make the event more engaging and the auction process/check-out MUCH easier.

Cons

The only struggle we have had since switching to Givebutter was that we did not set it up initially for automatic transfer to our bank and were unaware that we had donations coming it that hadn't been transferred yet. But it was a pleasant surprise to see we had a pot of money sitting there by the time we realized that error on our part.

I think it has been a good experience. I believe GB is doing their best to listen to their customers and implement additions based on feedback.

Pros

Simplicity and ease of use. I like the ability to connect and live chat as well.

Cons

Some of the integrations are still very new. But they are constantly updating.

Great! Very little in the way of compliants

Pros

I am thankful for the ease Givebutter has brought to donor stewardship. It’s great to also have functions like raffle and silent auction and the ability to sell tickets all in one platform. It has made for gathering data which is then used in stewardship much easier.

Cons

We would have loved access to printing tickets for pre sale. A lot of our audience like paper tickets from a physical place

I have had a great experience with Givebutter. I love the platform and the Givebutter team. I also love that it makes giving easier for my donors.

Pros

I love the way we can combine most of our major platforms into one with Givebutter (donations, contacts, communications). I also love how responsive the Givebutter team is to our needs.

Cons

With any platform change, there is a learning curve. At first, it can seem overwhelming, especially when needing to migrate recurring donations from our former platform to Givebutter. In the end, it worked, but it was more complicated than I anticipated.

It has helped our non profit utilize more funds

Pros

Once you figure it out it is easy to set things up for campaigns. We have been able to save tremendoulsy in the fees.

Cons

It is harder to move around when your admin window is not at full size. I often like to have 2 windows share a screen when I am updating spreadsheets. It would also be nice to be able to download campaign info via spreadsheet.

### "Givebutter Could Be Better"

Last year, our organization used One Cause and it had faults but it offered more capabilities than Givebutter. In terms pf payments and transactions, Givebutter did not live up to my expectations.

Pros

It is easy to maneuver through the platform.

Cons

I do not like that Admins cannot add or edit payment information, I do not like that Admins cannot process partial refunds, I do not like the virtual auction sign up--it requires too many steps, and I do not like that an Admin cannot mark an auction item "Complete" if a person pays offline.

I appreciate working with software that is innovative in the fundraising space. Just because something has always been done one way, doesn't mean other ways won't work. I appreciate the spirit of innovation at GiveButter.

Pros

I love that it is free to use and in my opinion, rivals a lot of the software that costs thousands of dollars to maintain. I walk away from their webinars with something new I've learned in the fundraising space and their resource library is very comprehensive and visual.

Cons

I hope that they can get the "tap to pay" feature to work for iPads. That would take my event to the next level.

Wonderful, I would recommend to anyone who is interested.

Pros

I absolutely have loved this platform. The staff are communicative and supportive. The platform is user friendly. They are also receptive to feedback an actively make changes that are suggested which is os nice. Beyond this, the cost is something that cannot be beat! Perfect for a smaller nonprofit with a terrible budget but big goals!

Cons

Nothing so far. If I had to put anything down it would be that I wish I had found them sooner!

### "Best Platform EVER for Non-profit Fundraising"

It's an unbelievable platform that gives our non-profit all the tools we need to make fundraising fun and easy

Pros

SUPER easy to use AND as a non-profit having the option of not paying a fee is amazing

Cons

nothing except a lot of people have never heard of it and it would be great if there was a way to do ticket sales and or voting
