The resume database and search functionality make it easy to identify and proactively source qualified candidates, and the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate for recruiters and hiring managers alike. One of LinkedIn's greatest strengths is the quality and volume of talent available through its resume database. The filtering tools can help narrow searches and identify candidates who appear to be a strong fit on paper. However, I found that the job posting qualification filters did not consistently eliminate unqualified applicants, which resulted in additional time spent screening candidates who did not meet basic requirements. I was also disappointed by the overall cost relative to the number of qualified candidates ultimately generated. Additionally, due to the growing number of scammers and fraudulent recruiting messages on LinkedIn, some candidates appeared hesitant to engage with recruiter outreach, leading to lower response rates than expected.
