Pros: I love the layout of LinkedIn jobs. The filter tools and search tools allow me to narrow down jobs to my industry of interest, location, experience level, and date posted. This is incredibly important to me because it makes sure I use my time job searching effectively. I also enjoy how LinkedIn provides several jobs that I may already be interested in. This saves some time in my search, and aggregates ones that may match my background. Perhaps my favorite feature, however, is EasyApply. This feature allows me to apply to a job with just a few clicks of my mouse. It can be very tiresome to have to go to individual websites to apply to jobs, upload resumes and cover letters, and fill out basic information time and time again. With EasyApply, the hassle is taken out, and you can apply in a few clicks.

Cons: One thing that I wish LinkedIn Jobs works on is the "Date Posted" feature. I wish there was a feature that allowed me to input a specific date posted, or specific range. While within the past month, week, or day are useful, sometimes I want to search within the past three days or five days. Also, although I believe this is attributable to the job poster, sometimes the experience level for jobs does not match the job description. At times, I will see jobs marked "entry level" with a description that says candidates must have 5+ years of experience. I think this would be an easy fix with some type of algorithm to scan the job posting, however.

Overall: Apply to many different jobs and search for jobs from one central location, narrow down my search results to find jobs that match my skills and experience, connect with individuals such as recruiters, ability to apply to jobs without leaving the website, ability to save job descriptions.

Pros: For job seekers, it is a free app, and there is a mobile version available too. LinkedIn is easy to create your online profile from your resume. Connection requests are easy to send, and LinkedIn even makes suggestions of people you may know. The "degrees" of a connection is a nice feature. the ability to send an InMail message to the person that posted the job and the referral request are also great features to assist my job search. LinkedIn also has it's own messenger service to allow direct messages through the app, even without traditional text message services. I would like to see real job recommendations based on the content of my LinkedIn profile.

Cons: Searches still display jobs I have already applied for. And the left pane (list of jobs in search) does not list that you have applied for it until you select the job to read the description, then it shows up. Should be able to exclude previously applied jobs from search. Should be able to flag jobs as "applied at company site" or "applied through another job board" (or recruiter) to avoid duplications. In some cases a company will disqualify an applicant that applies for the same role twice... and without any job ID code/req #, it is sometimes difficult to tell.

Overall: LinkedIn is by far the best software for job seekers. the jobs, the connections, the company details, and the ability to share profiles with recommendations attached to various jobs within your career history is awesome!

Pros: Linkedln is an incredible tool to find employment opportunities, in our profile we can attach our professional experiences (in this area we can select the company if it is registered in linkedIn and through this option you can visualize the number of registered people who work in the company), university studies, courses, we can also place our skills, what I like about this tool is that we can add our preferences such as the country where you want to apply, the number of employees you would like the company to have, and the position to which you want to apply, you receive notifications with published vacancies that adapt to your profile, by expanding the network of contacts these can validate your knowledge and skills serving this for when the companies seeking to validate certain references can already visualize in the profile, According to the people and companies that you start to follow on the home screen, there are certain available vacancies that usually request that you send your resume to a certain email

Cons: What I like the least about this tool is that you need the premium version so that your profile appears first in the companies' searches, this version also allows you to see which people or companies have viewed your profile, it also offers in real time the most relevant, this option has a free 30-day trial mode but you need to register a credit card

I have used this program for about 5 years now and still love it.

Pros: While I use to work in both the retail industry and wedding industry this was an amazing way to connect with other professionals on the same level. I was originally from the US and then made the move to Canada. One of the largest stress factors was how to rebuild clients and contacts with such a major move. With LinkedIn it was actually no where near as bad as I expected. My husband was able to connect me with some contacts he knew in the industry and the program itself then is able to recommend so many more. You are able to look by location you can see careers and what I like most is you can see how long someone has been in a particular industry. I have been a photographer for over 10 years while it is always nice to help new photographers getting into the industry, when I 1st wanted to make new contacts I wanted to meet very experienced and similar level to myself. With LinkedIn it lets you know a lot about the person you are going to meet before you ever meet them.

Cons: Unless you are willing to pay money you do not get all of the benefits of the program. I don't see a need to pay money for the extra perks as the base does enough to suit my needs. It would be nice when you have people viewing your profile to always see who they are but without paying that unfortunately is not an option. The only other con I would say is that recently it has seemed to turn a bit more into a facebook with what some people are posting. I would like to see this eliminated as this is a professional platform I don't want to get on and see pictures of peoples families or other personal information, not related to work.

Pros: linkedin has allowed me to establish a networking network with former colleagues and prominent people in the commercial, industrial and business areas.

After leaving my last job I began to review the profiles of the companies that interested me. with linkedin jobs you can create alerts for job vacancies in the companies that interest you. In addition, being a professional social network, allows you to promote yourself continuously in the workplace by relating to key figures in the world of recruitment.

You do not need to be an expert or a guru in the professional field to be able to use linkedin. It is enough that you present your resume well and follow the companies and characters of interest in your area of expertise. Publish content of interest and utility that gives you greater prominence and be insistent when applying for the available positions. Sooner or later I'm sure you'll also get a job thanks to linkedin.

Cons: I sincerely believe that linkedin has been very well thought out and developed. It is very dynamic and easy to use. I do not see anything bad to point out.

Overall: I got my job!

Pros: LinkedIn Jobs is a powerful tool that allows to identify effectively jobs opportunities through LinkedIn. Perhaps the feature that I like most is the ability to create job alerts based on your profile and background, avoiding waste time with long lists of job postings not related to an specific profile.

Also, Another advantage is the "Quick Apply" feature, that allows to share your linkedin profile and also attach the CV or any other information with just one click.

Cons: I think the feature that can be improved is the ability to contact the recruiter/job owner (just available for premium accounts) and also to be able to know the status of the application. Once that you apply for a position, there is no way to know if the application was reviewed, short-listed or discarded.

In addition, I have seen several scam positions posted on LinkedIn, which reduce the application reliability.

Overall: My overall experience with LinkedIn Jobs has been positive. Even though I haven't been able to find a job or even been contacted by a position applied through LinkedIn. I still believe is a really powerful tool.

Pros: It is one of the more popular sites to look for jobs so a lot of companies use it to post their open positions. It is easy to use and you can adjust the area where you are searching (Ex: Worldwide, California Area, San Francisco, etc). If you have a linkedIn account, you could store your resume for apply directly through linkedIn to some job offers.

Cons: Companies usually do not put enough information about the job position so you could be looking for an entry level position but a lot of the posts are for positions that require more experience.

There is not an option where you can filter those posts with information that you do not want, for example I was looking for a position that did not require more than 2 years of experience, but I could not filter the results to take care of that. It could add more filters to the search.

Overall: I was looking for jobs since I recently graduated from College and LinkedIn Jobs was my search tool. I payed the premium so that employers could see me easily (one of the benefits). I chose LinkedIn Jobs since everyone knows about it and most of the big companies post their open positions there. I liked it because every day there were different open positions for me to apply. However, I did not like that the options to filter undesired posts were not more specific.

Pros: Through the use of LinkedIn we have been able to attract new clients and make our work proposal known, we have come to have contacts from different countries. Allows you to search for companies, shows us who has viewed our profiles, customize our messages when adding a new contact, share images, files, videos and information that another user has published. It joins the other social networks with the purely LABOR! With the new update allows the interaction and searches to be easier to perform.

Cons: Maybe the only negative aspect of LinkedIn, would be your constant emails informing who have seen your profile or its updates, but it is simply to keep your email linked to the profile in the social network.

Overall: LinkedIn allows us to be updated in our work area, see the development of our business skills and publicize our service globally. It has been our most used tool and helped us connect at any time and time of the day.

Pros: Linkedin jobs makes it easy for me follow new job openings which fit into my experience and qualifications.

I love the user interface of the Linkedin job search interface. Also the filter and search functionalities have been a great aid,as they make it easy to narrow my job search down to my preferred industry of choice ,geographical location and of course experience level seeked.

Likewise I like the EasyAPPLY feature which makes it easy for me to apply for jobs which pick my interest with just a few clicks, as against having to upload my cv or writing cover letters. Overall ,Linkedin Jobs simply takes away the difficult part of job searching.

Cons: It is free to use and gets the task of finding or staying in touch with new job openings ,therefore I have no complaint at all.

Overall: I use Linkedin Jobs to stay in touch with job openings in my industry ,which I may be interested in . Everyone is looking to get a better job,and that includes myself. Linkedin job enable me spend just a few minutes of my time daily helping me be on the lookout for an improved job role.

Pros: The company I'm currently working and the company I gonna join, I both applied through LinkedIn Jobs.

I also tried their premium version which is actually god with many online courses and training also.

I always get a notification when my application is viewed by job poster which helps me to get the context of the call and prepare myself.

Also, applying for a company is really simple, on tap apply.

Many big companie's portals use linkedin integration which auto fills most of the inputs.

Cons: Auto-generated resume must be in a better format, however, it's not much matter as LinkedIn URL is more convincing than mere pdf .

Overall: My answer is from user's perspective, It's really easy for a job applicant to apply for jobs through Linkedin Jobs, so I really think it'll help to companies who opt for Linkedin Jobs office solutions get more applications which directly helps them to find better talent.

Pros: I think it is more than an employment portal, it is a tool for connecting people around the world, which can connect with job opportunities. Thanks to the possibility of creating a professional profile, in which studies or experience are not enough, it is also important the interaction and being always connected with business trends. In addition, the possibility of doing job searches worldwide maximizes your profile, managing to explore international opportunities for growth.

Cons: There are some functions that are paid through the premium plan, however it has a high monthly cost, which for young people just graduated from the university can be very expensive. However, this does not prevent the creation of a professional profile and connection with interesting opportunities.

Overall: professional connection!! easy of used, perfecto to grow as a professional.

Pros: I have been using this for over 2 years now as i already have a Linkedin Premium account . Posting jobs on Linkedin makes your hiring job very easy . One can post and just forget about it and focus on other tasks . Once done you will keep receiving some quality profiles from Linkedin . The way their algorithm works makes it sure that our job reaches the correct candidate . Overall this is a wonderful way to cut down on your efforts and still get good results

Cons: Once posted it takes a little longer for you to start receiving profiles . The keyword it picks up from your posting can be incorrect at times and one might end up receiving incorrect set of candidates .

Overall: Overall the experience has been good. LinkedIn Jobs comes in really handy if you club it with their premium account with in mails .

Pros: This software is very functional, since it has allowed me to take LinkedIn from my PC to take it on my smartphone, being able to make quick reviews of the publications that I do in my profile that I always have active to search for work options in the field of editorial line not only of our company, but freelance.

LinkedIn Jobs serves as an app of comfortable use that is interconnected to many talent hunters and CEO, who constantly recruit staff for work associated with proofreading and editorial, therefore, this software is essential for the development of my work-training activities .

Cons: This app has certain limitations in relation to the web version of LinkedIn, and therefore you can not use an account at its maximum extension. I fully understand the limitations that an application of a smartphone can present, but LinkedIn Jobs should think about improving this option and thus it will be unbeatable

Pros: As a good thing today I see the enormous amount of companies and recruiters using the tool in the search of talented and renowned professionals in the market and using the tool keeping my profile updated as they appear good opportunities in large companies always directed to the vacancy that I desire.

I recommend to anyone looking for opportunities and even for those who just want to keep their networking active even if they do not search for a vacancy immediately.

Cons: As negative points of the tool to register for vacancies or to add information to mobile platafoma is not as simple as when using in PC. The plans offered even the simplest are not cheap but compared to your competitors I see that the chance to get a job is much higher.

Pros: Saying positive things about LinkedIn Jobs would never end this review. However, we could list a few characteristics that for me have been revolutionary compared to the session of linkedIn online.

You can configure the options to stop jobs according to your needs and tastes, creating alerts on the mobile to review options.

It adds an intelligent element of the application where it mentions jobs of your possible interest.

You can use it faster in your cell phone to get a job, and it's always active

Cons: It has the classic limitations of an application because it does not have all the options of the web version. However, the application also puts forward a series of unpublished options that are speicalized more in the search for jobs over the information exposure.

This software has cons that are corrected with their unpublished features.

Overall: I recommend this application to all users who are fervently looking for a job. The range of options presented is quite interesting and our offers are always looked for by talents and scouts of companies.

Pros: What I like most about this software is the ability to choose if you want recruiters to know that you are "open" and "looking". This will set your profile signal on and help your profile to stand out in searches for recruiting companies. This is a helpful feature because companies can contact you without you even reaching out to them

Cons: What I like least is that not all of the jobs listed have the Linkedin apply feature which is much more convenient than going to the company site and applying through their internal job board. Additionally you have to pay for Linkedin premium to be eligible to see where you are a top candidate

Overall: Linkedin Jobs overall is a great platform to use when applying and actively looking for jobs

Pros: I have used this several times while searching for jobs after relocation with my husband and when considering switching jobs. I really like how it is easy to see information about the company posting the job. You can go directly to their LinkedIn page from the job posting and see details about the company Including the company size and description. It's easy to return back to your search list as well. The feature that lets you apply through LinkedIn is very handy when the option is there. I applied for several positions this way and I really like how it kept track of the jobs I applied for. For someone who is on a serious job hunt and has multiple applications out, this is so helpful in that you don't have to worry about accidentally applying to the same job twice.

Cons: I wish there was an option on the mobile app to dismiss jobs that you are not interested in when they appear on multiple searches or on the same search over time. These can clutter up the search results and make it a little cumbersome to look through the job postings.

Pros: I have used LinkedIn for a long time. Our HR department uses LinkedIn to find employees and converse with them through chat. Coming from a employee perspective its really helpful with finding a job and applying for it. Recruiters also use this to post jobs and locate candidates so this could be an advantage compared to other job portals.

Cons: Since jobs are posted on LinkedIn a lot of candidates can apply for it so this may weigh you down, but you have to be positive and ensure you stand out from the rest. overall a good feature added to LinkedIn and this could make a lot of unemployed people employed.

Overall: Really helpful with finding a job. Also much better than a traditional job portal

3. It;s best way to find new opportunity and jobs.

Cons: It;s paid after very basic services they charge per month for it's premium feature.

Rest functionality is good for getting job quickly.

Pros: LinkedIn jobs is a nice way to look for jobs, especially when you are new to an area/considering moving. Other than just finding random posts on other job sites, LinkedIn really does try to match you to jobs in your field of interests and experience.

The fact that LinkedIn has become the standard for HR department has to speak to its effectiveness, so I certainly trust the content being delivered (which is based on my profile). Also, the value of LinkedIn Jobs is nice (free), even if they constantly try to get you to upgrade to premium.

Overall, LinkedIn Jobs provides an easy, accessible way to search for jobs. It saves time, and really helps people find jobs in wide regions.

Cons: Sometimes the recommended positions/companies seem random, or are very blatantly just promoted. It is frustrating to have to wade through irrelevant positions.

Also, the endless insistence of LinkedIn that users upgrade to premium is bothersome. Yes, I understand the premium membership opens up new features, but I'd prefer not to be told this every time I open up new job postings.

Also, the customer service can be slow at times, but it is generally helpful.

Overall: It helps users find jobs, and helps employers find qualified candidates. It is beneficial in that it is more accurate and flexible than the market alternatives.

Pros: Love the 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree connection information that shows up next to names on a profile you're viewing because it lets you know how connected you are to that person already, if at all. I also like that you can see the first time that somebody views your profile and that you can message people. This makes it so that you can talk to people you've connected without directly giving away your information, and you also know who's looking at your information (or whose attention you've caught).

Cons: I constantly get ads for LinkedIn Premium which seems rather pricey, and there are some functions that are effectively useless without Premium. Also, the commercial use limit of searching for other people seems a bit unnecessary - I keep having to wait for it to reset every month.

Pros: - You can filter all the information by position, with a simple word, type of industry or location.

- Linkedin make the search adjusted to the positions that your profile may be attractive to recruiters, and give you a plus.

- The tools concentrates on suggesting positions similar to those that you currently occupy or that you once occupied.

- You have a great list of worldwide companies that you can contact.

- Linkedin allows you to alert recruiters that you are in active job search.

- You have two types of applications: the one of easy application or the one that takes you directly through a link to the page where the position is published.

- The recruiters can contact you by direct message.

- You can manage your applications by entering "requested jobs", and you cann delete it if you want.

- Linkedin allows you to save jobs, if you want to apply later.

Cons: - You can not filter by date range in postulation, for example from month to month, day to day. But you can see the posted date.

- Sometimes your profile does not match with the mandatory competencies for the position, such as years of experience or handling of some software. In these cases linkeind jobs does not filter it, it puts it as a suggestion.

- Only the premium version allows you to appear first in the searches.

Pros: I like that you can find job offers of quality and recognized enterprises, unlike other platforms that allow anonymous job offers, Linkedin Jobs allows you to search more information about the place you would be working for. This also mean that you would find different job offers instead of just running through the same ones in different websites.

The fact that the places you apply have the direct link to a CV (the Linkedin one) where you can find specific information without distracting with the design is also an advantage for Human Resources people

Cons: I am not a fan of the design. I find really overwhelming looking for specific information on each job offer since i don't think the hierarchy of information is well defined. I also feel really overwhelmed with the suggestions around the offer since they look pretty similar to the text I want to be reading at the time (they used the same font, same size, same color, etc)

Overall: I really like looking through Linkedin Jobs cause even when there are not as many job offers, I always find good and high quality enterprises there that I don't fine in other websites.

Pros: I have used linkedin jobs a lot throughout my career. It's very easy to search for and find jobs. I like the simplicity and the results it gives me and the ability to search in specific geographic areas

Cons: I wish it would have better filtering options. It would be nice if they could provide salary ranges (even if only estimates like glass door). It would also be nice to see how many people have applied on the free version.

Overall: This is my go-to source for all of my job searches throughout my career. The integrations with linkedin proper are great for networking with potential hiring managers and employees.

Pros: As a user attempting to find a job or apply for a job, this program is not that bad. Applying is easy if you see the little "EasyApply" button next to a job. The job suggestions are relevant for the most part, and it helps that you can connect with employees at the company (usually HR staff) if you have questions about setting up an interview, etc. The problems come into play if you are a user attempting to list job openings on this site. I have the pleasure (and displeasure?) of using this program from both sides...

Cons: The cons all come into play if you are using the program as an employer to list open positions. It costs a tremendous amount of money and it really isn't incredibly effective. Here's the problem: your candidate pool will stay roughly the same -- always. While the recruiting feature is helpful, you have to be willing to pull someone else away from a job, which is always more expensive. You can search through LinkedIn users, see their skill sets, chat with them, etc. But you won't get a flood of new applicants. You'll get a database of people who are "sort of" looking for a job, but not actively.

Overall: If you are seeking employment, it's helpful and I would recommend it. If you are an employer hoping to recruit or list jobs, I would go with another program.

Pros: LinkedIn Jobs is a professional social connection tool that allows you to find and receive jobs that closely match your skills. I like that it offers different plans (Free, basic, plus) with different costs and offers that allow you to select which you are comfortable with. Depending on your plan, it allows you to see who has viewed your profile, which is important for job seekers. it works well if properly

Cons: The costs can be high, especially for those without jobs. It does not guarantee that you will get connections by joining the premium plans, one still has to do the work of growing their connections and building their profile

Overall: - Superb tool for job searches, with proper utilization

Pros: Great reach with access to the whole LinkedIn network

Cons: It's not the cheapest solution out there

Overall: I was a bit hesitant to start using LinkedIn Jobs, given I'd had a lot of success finding great candidates without paid job ads, using LinkedIn, Facebook and other free networks. However once we gave LinkedIn Jobs a try, we attracted many more additional candidates than expected, and the quality of the candidates was higher than expected. I would say that the investment in LinkedIn Jobs is worth it, for the right kind of job - you're more likely to find candidates for managerial positions online than for technical or clerical positions for example.

Pros: I'm using LinkedIn from past 6 years and always liked this tool to connect with professionals and make my work better and easier. LinkedIn jobs helped me to find a better job, it allows you to create alerts for jobs you are interested in. With its "easy apply" feature you can apply to job within seconds.

Cons: I have complaints with LinkedIn customer care, there is an option to chat but its always unavailable or offline.

Overall: I'm happy that I was successful in finding a great job and I'm still using LinkedIn products on a daily basis.

Cons: I do not like that people can see who have viewed their profile. I wish there was an option where you could chose not to show the person you viewed their profile because sometimes when you are looking for a job you do not want them to see you are looking up all their people.

Pros: Since I am working for an executive search firm this application is really helpful when it comes to sourcing for an ideal candidate. The application provides all the information we need per candidate. Not only that, it is also helpful in sending outreach emails to the candidates especially when they dont have an email address available we can send them an inmail instead.

Cons: The only thing that I am having a problem with LinkedIn is sometimes it will automatically shut down or if not it would take longer than usual to load a certain page especially on Recruiter's account.

Pros: It is indeed social media for professionals. You can also link your linkedin profile to other social media and share posts. Its user interface is similar to twitter. If you are looking for a job, you can see on your newsfeed the post of job openings. If you are a recruiter, you can source for candidates here as well. This is the software that I'm using for hard requisitions that is hard to look for a candidate in other job boards.

Cons: Limited access if you dont have premium profile. There is a limit in sending messages if you don't have a recruiter linked in profile and you cannot send inmails.

Pros: It is a virtual resume. It is now online for many employers to see. This makes applying much easier, as you can apply to many companies at once rather than going from company to company in person. It also reverses the roles, where employers can seek out specific candidates they are looking for. You are able to put your past work experience, qualifications and school history. Other people are allowed to give you a thumbs up on certain skills and abilities you acquire. You can build connections with current and future employees as well.

Cons: Anyone can look you up and your information is now public. I don't like the monthly spam email trying to get me to sign up for linked in premium either.

Overall: The ability to follow certain sectors and keep up with trending news. To follow current employees and to keep an eye out for future prospects. Employers are able to reach out to me, and I am able to reach out to many employers at once. It is a virtual resume that I can keep updating when the time comes.

Pros: I can't remember not using LinkeIn Jobs. It's help not only me connect to current and former coworkers, but it helped me find my last two positions. It's also helped me connect family and friends to new opportunities. Plus I love reading about trends and getting career advice. I don't think there is anything else out there like LinkedIn

Cons: I agree with people who post online that LinkedIn sometimes generates a lot of spam. And you have to check to make sure you want to connect with people that you actually have a reason to connect with, not just to have a huge list of connections you don't "know". And to have a valuable post, you need to spend time up front building a valuable profile, and then maintaining it.

Pros: The ability to search for specific roles across the length of an entire country is very useful and opens many opportunities. The same can be said from a recruiter's perspective, it enables companies to hire individuals from other cities that may be interested in moving for the right role.

Cons: I think a more defined search functionality would assist with finding potential canditates, such as being able to search for current jobs, previous jobs, area of interest, skills etc...

I also question whether it is a good idea for employers to be able to view the candidates name & picture when seeing if someone would be interested in attending an interview, I feel some racial profiling could potentially be removed by this.

Pros: LinkedIn Jobs is a great option for finding the right people to fill your open positions. I think LinkedIn is so effective with it's ability to identify the right prospects for your job because they have an abundance of data to analyze, understanding trends and job flow across numerous industries. LinkedIn is seen as the leading professional social network, and they're comprehensive profile information lends itself to a greater understanding of the prospects you're looking to hire. Forget about needing to submit your resume -- it's all right there on a prospect's profile!

Cons: I'm not sure that all LinkedIn users understand how to utilize the employee/prospect version of LinkedIn Jobs, or may not realize when they are indicating that they would like to be recruited. Really not a knock on the software -- I would consider this more of a user error issue.

Overall: We've been able to hire a number of well qualified candidates for our open positions, and were able to cut down on our search time thanks to the ability to search for qualifications. We have people who were recommended by LinkedIn based on their skills which has made a huge different in a quality of the candidates as well as the process to hire them.

Pros: Job seekers can narrow their job search to areas of expertise, industry, location and salary expectations. Employers are able to see a candidate's strengths, experience, interests, personality, and flaws through their profile. There is usually a free trial period to get started, so the return on investment can be evaluated before subscribing.

Cons: Providing detailed professional information for the public to view could be a security risk in future. Is Linkedin making backdoor profit from subscribers and can the information be hacked and copied for imposters in the future? More security assurances need to be provided.

Overall: During an engineer's job search, finding the right job fit, relevant brand, location and reputation to work for is key to a happy future. In comparison to Glassdoor, Linkedin jobs is more efficient because of the detail one can add to their profile to document experience, accomplishments, and future contributions for industry. For employers, the linkedin profiles have enough room for information where recruiters can really get a feel for the level of competence, as well as what kind of personality they interested in hiring. Linkedin jobs is currently leading the way for employees to connect with jobs, with methods of social media; profiles, pictures, groups, etc.

Pros: Growing up in Alberta, I was actually hired by my current employer in BC through the jobs section of LinkedIn. While I haven't personally used LinkedIn as an employer, the job-searching aspect is very well made. Potential recruiters can always access your profile to see all the current information about you and your previous experiences. You get the option to additionally submit your resume and CV when applying to jobs.

The number of employers who hire on LinkedIn over other online services is also on the rise, as LinkedIn has increased its user-base tremendously over the past few years.

Cons: No cons at this moment for LinkedIn Jobs.

Pros: I have used this software as a person looking for a job as well as a person looking to post a job. I enjoyed a lot about the looking for a job part of this software. Cons: There are many cons in that folks dont know about the jobs on linkedin, unless they have linkedin. I wish it connected with the community to post jobs from your local community. I also did not receive notification when folks applied for the job i had posted on linkedin.

Cons: A lot of features from the desktop version of the software are not available for the mobile application. Also, the premium version is quite expensive.

Pros: LinkedIn helps both recruiters and job seekers. Its really very easy to set up profile.

It alows you to share your education, work experience and other details needed by various corporates for recruitment. Subscribing a group helps to get latest news and updates.

Moreover it can be accessed via web and mobile making it platform independent.

It allows job seekers to list their best skills which eventually helps them in getting a job.

Cons: No authentication while creating LinkedIn profile so a lot of fake connections. Free membership don't include necessary functions. Users has to opt for Paid membership for getting fully access to services.

Overall: Using LinkedIn for posting CVs and getting jobs. Its difficult but eventually you will surely get some job options.

Pros: Any professional (or professional-to-be) individual are more likely to already have a linkedIn account by now. It is a tough world to get a job nowadays and there when LinkedIn Jobs comes to the rescue. Looking for a job is not an easy task so here where this app is a true star in a very vast universe of options out there. LinkedIn Jobs offers you a very powerful job seeking tool, capable of tracking down thousands of National and Worldwide Jo listing options as well. By means of several filters available for employers and applicants, this recognized software can this difficult task, a much more pleasant one. Another great feature is having the chance of communicating directly with other professionals or employers worldwide, making it "the facebook of business". You can even post or redact your own pieces of articles or information, ready to see for other users. What's more, it's free, you don't have to pay a single box to get the basic features. A total win-win situation to me...

Cons: The interface might be al little complicated for some inexperienced users. Other from that, no relevant negative issues within this app.

Overall: The tangible chance of seeking and getting updates from Worldwide job offerings, for free.

Pros: Very use-friendly to post a job and I like how all candidate activity is trackable within the job feature. One posted, LinkedIn will also send you matches based on the requirements in the job posting.

Cons: It's quite costly; however, for a large company with a large number of reqs open at a given time, it would likely be more cost-effective. For a small nonprofit, we only hire a handful of new people in a given year, so cost-wise, it's a little much for us. However, we have found higher-quality candidates when using this software.

Overall: Access to a greater candidate pool and the quality of our candidates improved, adding overall, more value to our team.

I also like that I can see which of my connections (and fellow university alumni!) currently works at a company or has in the past so I know who to reach out to to learn more about a company or a specific role. It's very easy to use and intuitive for even non tech-savvy users.

Cons: I don't like that you can't InMail people you are not connected to without paying for LinkedIn Premium. When applying for a job I'd like to reach out to the recruiter or someone in the role to let them know I applied and follow up, and I don't want to send a connection and seem over-eager, so this forces me to try and find their email address online (if not on their profile). This prompts many extra steps that could easily be avoided if I was able to send them a quick message on the same platform on which I applied.

Pros: It is a great professional social network platform with a comfortable and secure interface, which allows you to stay up-to-date in the sector, get employment and be in contact with colleagues or people related to the profession, without a doubt I like to keep informed in relation to the things related to my profession, and thanks to LInkedin I can get useful information that undoubtedly allows me to be more proactive.

Cons: I think it is a platform very much in line with the needs of many professional users, who need to be in touch and up to date with their profession, without a doubt saying a negative aspect is that sometimes the security authentication that sometimes asks for it was somewhat tedious, but The rest works according to the perceived needs among them is to secure employment.

Overall: Although I make a weekly use, it is very important and interesting information not only from my professional sector, but it allows me to observe different companies, know a little more about the experiences of other users that exist, which is a platform that nourishes much to the professional, where sharing ideas and opinions allows personal and intellectual growth in relation to professional life, admeas a very novel way when it comes to finding employment that meets the needs of the user.

Pros: Ease of use and notifications. This is one of the easiest apps for a 24/7 job search. I also found that in my area, companies using LinkedIn rather than Indeed and ZipRecruiter tended to larger, more reputable, and more transparent.

Cons: Honestly, that it's separate from the main LinkedIn app. It would be really helpful to have the functionality folded into the primary app, which I believe would encourage casual use. Once I completed the job search, I deleted the app, but I would've been interested in casual searches/recommendations.

Overall: This app serves primarily to get the first contact with job searchers. Users will tend to be as savvy with LinkedIn as other technology, and the way people respond is a good indicator of their customer service mindset. While there are many great workers that don't fully utilize LinkedIn, I have yet to come across an active LinkedIn user that was not a great worker.

Pros: It easily pulled jobs from our ATS and was easy to maintain, refresh and edit. We recently had 3 slots so that was nice that we could change jobs out as needed.

Cons: We spent quite a bit of money but made no hires from them. It was suggested that we had a lot of drop off candidates, meaning people didn't want to apply on our website link (which was simply uploading a resume). They suggested we get emails directly from applicants so candidates don't fall off. All that did was increase the # of unqualified applicants. We recruit IT candidates and ironically, we were getting more hits from posting jobs on our LI profiles, which is free. These likely work for other industries in different areas but not for us.

Overall: It gave us brand recognition and more hits to our website but this is the 2nd time I've purchased these and got no placements from them.
