I liked it better when anybody cool purchase job slots (like "parking place for ads"), now with the "pay to display" approach, it feels more difficult to know when a job post is worth it or not. Pros Linkedin is very used by candidates, so its Jobs portal has a good reach. The jobs are suggested to the Linkedin users based on their current job titles and searches. Cons Negative answers management is archaic: it doesn't invite you to manage it into the tool (if you have an ATS plugged in then you're better suited), Both the sales and support teams lack a customer service approach. Most of them don't know how their own tools work, I still have pending questions & open tickets from 2016! But they're the #1 tool, with no real competition at the moment, so that's how it goes. Pros LinkedIn for individual users is awesome, probably the best platform to keep your academic and professional activities and to ensure a good networking. Cons LinkedIn Jobs (Talent Solution) has incredibly poor features for a scenario when multiple (3-4) recruiters are working on a team effort. There's no centralized database where the team can handle data, the applications have to be individually shared with the other team members. The solution is also kind of pricy and their price is not clearly informed, you need to meet with their team in order to understand which of their dozens of pricing options will work for you. Pros Loved that it was far reaching and you could use filters to slim down the candidate pool - as an example, the firm I worked for once used it to filter based on employer so we could run a job fair for three companies that had recently shut down and had folks who we knew were on the job hunt - we wanted to capitalize on that. I was able to mass- email under our account in a very short period of time, and that was great. The hiring event was successful and far-reaching, we had several successful hires as a result. I liked the functionality and ease of use. Cons I feel like you're not always notified when candidates reach out or reply or some things will go to spam. It has brought me success in the job searching process through the thousands of jobs listed on the software. Pros What I like most about this software is the job filtering system. Specifically the “Easy Apply” tool. I like that I can apply for a job through LinkedIn Jobs rather than having to open up an application outside of the software. Cons What I like least about the software is the location filtering tool. Pros So, LinkedIn is jam-packed with services -- LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Talent Solutions, Marketing Solutions, Learning Solutions. LinkedIn Sales Navigator gives you access to all of this. It is a one-for-all type program which grants you access to LinkedIn Learn, which I was super happy about and it helps you network and find clients or leads. It is a great program for scaling your business or finding a job. Cons The main con about this was the hefty $700 annual fee for this software. I mean, for someone trying to grow their business or heck, find a job, this can be really steep. I think that it's kind of common sense to not add extreme prices to a JOB SEARCH program.
