Like many HR teams, we’ve been through our fair share of HCM struggles. We started with ADP for payroll combined with WorkBright for ATS and Onboarding, moved to Paycom, and ultimately found our way to . Why? Because we needed a system that actually worked for us—not against us. Rippling changed everything. It’s reliable, intuitive, and—most importantly—backed by a team that truly supports us. Now, our HR processes run smoother than ever, giving us time to focus on what really matters: our people. Switching HRIS/payroll systems is not something any company takes lightly, but HR deserves better, and we found it with Rippling.

Pros

The ability to create custom apps for use based on organizational needs, as well as the customization of each app within the system and permission policies. Ease of use for employees and administrators. Overall system functionality and stability. Monthly check-ins with our support team.

Cons

Transition requests cannot be edited throughout the approval process - instead they must be rejected and resubmitted. Pay stubs list an average rate for hourly employees who work multiple positions at different rates.

Pros

I really enjoy using because it makes managing payroll and employees so much easier. The platform is very intuitive, and I don’t waste time figuring things out. Payroll runs smoothly, leave requests are simple to handle, and everything stays organized in one place. On top of that, customer support has always been quick and helpful whenever I had a question. Overall, it saves me time and gives me peace of mind knowing things are handled correctly.

Cons

Honestly, I don’t have any major complaints. The platform has worked smoothly for me, and I haven’t experienced issues worth mentioning.

Besides the IRA implementation it has been a total breeze and I have nothing but positive things to say.

Implementation was such a breeze. All of our data transfer was so seamless. Our first payroll went off without a hitch.

Cons

We signed up for and are paying for an IRA integration with \[sensitive content hidden\] , but the implementation has not be successful thus far. may have overpromised.

Very good, I would recommend it. We scouted for other vendors but none were able to give us the value that gave us.

Pros

It's convenient and easy to use. You don't have to be super tech-savvy to use it. My company uses it for payroll and for managing benefits and we have not had any issues.

Cons

Human assistance is not readily available like a live agent on chat, for example. It would be nice to have a live agent available in case you need help really fast.

ease of use, is great, total turnkey to look at employees, and your own personal items such as benefits

Cons

the colors are bit dark, sometimes its gives you notices that you have already done, so the reminders can be a bit annoying when you have already completed a task

Amazing in comparison to other products.. I have used Concur in the past and the receipt input is very challenging.

Pros

The ease at which I input hours. The staff will ping me if I forget to put in my hours at the end of the month.

Cons

Sometimes it glitches and I am unable to my hours at that time. Then I will have to go back and double check to see if it correct.

The same goes for people in your company that need to access your different information for payroll and HR. It is all in all extremely easy to use, visually appealing and no nonsense, compared to other HR & Payroll websites or applications.

is incredibly easy to use and gives great oversight over your worked hours, who does what in your organization and lets you easily access all your important HR and payroll documents!

What I have liked most about is the feasibility for the application both online and through cellular use. I have loved how easy it is to navigate the application as I work remotely for my job.

I haven't had any issues with since I began using it last year. They do a great job at constantly having updates for the apps betterment.

So far it has been a very smooth transition and I am excited to be using this over the old platform we had.

Pros

Everything lives in very easy to find areas, organized, quick & easy when it comes to payments and finding needed documents

Cons

The only downside I’ve encountered so far is how long it can take to submit a timesheet. It “thinks” for quite a while, and then you’re able to hit Submit and add your signature for final approval. In the beginning, I missed that step a few times because I didn’t realize it simply needed more time to finish processing.

I enjoy ’s UI, it’s easy to navigate and clean features. You can add apps that are relevant to your business and the flow between buttons is great.

The thing I like the least is I wish there were more help center articles. If more issues were included there, it would be super easy to use.

is an exceptional one stop shop for all employment related needs. The intuitive navigation makes it easy to access paystubs, leave requests, benefits, and employment documents without jumping between multiple portals. The platform has genuinely streamlined how I manage my HR information.

Cons

The notification system needs improvement. Completed tasks generate notifications that don't disappear, they remain persistent and intrusive, often blocking access to other information on the platform. It would be much better if notifications auto-cleared once a task is finished or if there was an easy way to dismiss them.

Because it is so easy to use and to find information I find myself going in there far more than I ever have any other HR/Employee portal.

Pros

It is super well organized, so it is easy to find what you are looking for. And I love that everything I need as an employee is in one place. My paystubs, insurance info, org chart, time off requests, reviews and more.

Cons

There really isn't anything that I do not like about . But if I had to change one thing, I would ask that under the "My Benefits" section that there was an attachment of all of the services covered for a certain insurance plan. i.e. If I have Cigna Plus - an attachment showing what services are covered and what percentage is covered etc.

Overall, is a tool that allows us to easily handle all of our inquiries as an agent, even though it has some areas of oportunity, it makes easier the workload for everyone.

Pros

The facility of use for time managing, combining HR, payroll, benefits, device / IT provisioning, compliance, and more all in one system; makes it much easier to bring a new employee on board: sending offer letters, getting documents signed, enrolling in benefits, provisioning devices/accounts, etc.

Cons

They don’t always publish transparent pricing, so it’s hard to predict exactly how much it will cost, especially as you add more employees or modules, also in certain cases, communication is via ticketing or email, and users feel there’s a lack of dedicated human contact or escalation for critical problems.
