### "Seamless All-in-One HR Solution"

May 11, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with ripling has been ten out of ten.I'm using it for a few months now.And I don't see myself turning back or going to another company.I think this is the best app for what it does, and I highly recommend it seriously

Pros

I’ve had a genuinely positive experience using Rippling. What stands out immediately is how streamlined and intuitive the platform feels. Even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, it’s quick to learn and easy to navigate without feeling overwhelmed. One of the biggest advantages is how much time it saves. Tasks that would normally take multiple steps—or even multiple systems—are handled in one place. Whether it’s onboarding, payroll, or managing employee data, everything feels efficient and well-organized. Another thing I really appreciate is how forgiving the system is. Mistakes happen, but Rippling makes it simple to go back, make corrections, and move forward without unnecessary frustration. That kind of flexibility makes a big difference in day-to-day use. Overall, Rippling delivers strong value by combining powerful features with a user-friendly design. It’s reliable, efficient, and easy to pick up, which makes it a solid choice for anyone looking to simplify their workflow.

Cons

Honestly, and I don't want anyone to think this is a joke. But my biggest issue with the app was that I wasn't introduced to this app sooner, as i've worked for multiple companies with multiple different apps. And this literally is the best app that streamlines everything. And when I turn my phone on and see the app, I don't get anxiety where other apps have given me anxiety

### "A comprehensive, well-organized workforce platform with standout customer support"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Rippling has been a reliable and comprehensive platform for managing all our people operations. As an Engineering Manager at a SaaS startup, I use it daily for payroll, contractor hours approval, leave management, and even my work permit was handled through it. The experience has been consistently smooth — everything is well organized, workflows are intuitive, and the support team is genuinely responsive and knowledgeable. It's the kind of platform that quietly does its job well without getting in the way.

Pros

Honestly, two things stand out. First, the platform is really well organized everything is where you'd expect it to be, and it doesn't feel overwhelming despite how much it covers. Second, their support team is genuinely excellent. Anytime I've had a question, the response has been fast and actually helpful, not just a link to a help article. For a busy Engineering Manager, that combination of good UX and reliable support makes a real difference.

Cons

The onboarding experience for new users could be more intuitive. Given how feature-rich the platform is, new team members can feel slightly overwhelmed when they first log in. Role-based onboarding flows or guided checklists tailored to each user's role would make the initial ramp-up much smoother. That said, this is a minor observation, once you're past the initial learning curve, the platform is excellent.

### "Convenient platform for managing HR, payroll, and employee onboarding"

May 10, 2026

4.0

Overall, our experience with Rippling has been positive. It made HR operations more organized and reduced the amount of repetitive admin work for both HR and IT teams. The platform is reliable for daily use, and employees found the self-service options simple enough without needing much support. There are still a few areas that could improve, mainly around advanced reporting and pricing flexibility, but overall it has been a strong solution for managing employee operations in one place.

Pros

Rippling helped us reduce a lot of manual HR work by keeping employee onboarding, payroll, device management, and basic IT tasks in one platform. The onboarding workflow is one of the best parts because new hires can complete documents, payroll setup, and account access without multiple follow-ups from HR. The interface is modern and easy to navigate compared to older HR systems we used before. Automation features also save time, especially for recurring tasks like employee status updates, approvals, and payroll processing. We also liked the integrations with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom because they simplified user access management. From a value-for-money perspective, it worked well for us since we did not need separate systems for every HR and IT function.

Cons

Some advanced workflows and settings take time to fully understand during initial setup, so there is a bit of a learning curve for admins. Reporting is good overall, but customizing reports for very specific requirements can sometimes feel limited. Customer support has generally been helpful, but response times occasionally vary depending on the issue priority. Pricing can also increase quickly when adding multiple modules.

Switched from

[greytHR](https://www.capterra.com/p/150850/greytHR/)

We switched because we needed a platform that could handle HR, payroll, onboarding, and basic IT management in one system instead of using separate tools for different processes. greytHR worked well for core HR tasks, but as the team grew, managing onboarding workflows, employee access, and integrations became more manual. Rippling helped centralize these operations and reduced the amount of coordination required between HR and IT teams. The automation features and integrations were also better suited for our workflow, especially for onboarding and employee account management.

### "Rippling for the win!"

May 13, 2026

5.0

I had a really positive experience with this service. The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They took the time to answer my questions clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. What stood out most was the quality of the customer service. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, patient, and focused on making sure my needs were handled properly. It is clear they care about delivering a good experience, not just completing a transaction. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for reliability and great support.

### "Does it Get Any Better Than Rippling?"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, I really liked Rippling, and I would've been happy to continue using it. Its capabilities heavily outweigh its deficiencies.

Pros

Rippling is an HR platform for employees that is easy to use and informative. My favorite aspects were the employee tree that shows you who does what. It makes collaboration between departments in a big company a little bit easier because you know who to contact! Doing performance reviews is easy too. Finally, there was never a pay day that came late, which is likely in part due to my company, but Rippling did their job too. Overall, this is a solid product! I'll note that my company decided to move to Insperity, which may be related to the price of Rippling.

Cons

The PTO platform was confusing. I accidentally used hours that were for the next year during a prior year because I thought that I needed to use the quantity of hours that were left. But it turned out the way it added up was more than I had left, and it took away from the next year. I wouldn't have done this if the platform were a bit clearer. It should be easy math, but it turned out it wasn't quite as easy as one would expect!

### "Modern, Intuitive, and Great Potential for Automation!"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, we are very pleased with the improved capabilities over our previous system, and the ability to integrate it with our existing IdP to offload a lot of manual tedium in managing user and app access. The implementation team was wonderful to work with, and support has been very helpful. Their training and documentation materials have been great to review and ramp up our team.

Pros

A modern user interface that is easier to navigate and configure compared to our current system. Having the HRIS as master functionality for our current IdP is going to be of huge benefit to automating our employe lifecycle management.

Cons

They are still building out their available third-party integrations, and some require you purchase a plan/subscription through them to unlock the full benefits. This may be worthwhile, but requires some more exploration.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Rippling

### "The 1 2 3 of rippling"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. It’s a fast, straightforward platform that makes daily tasks easy to manage, with a clear organizational chart and efficient tools that truly feel worth the monthly cost. It also stands out for its responsive customer support, quickly resolving issues when they come up. While it could improve by offering more customization and reducing dependency on managers for certain changes, it remains a reliable and effective solution for HR management.

Pros

I’ve been using Rippling at work, and I’ve had a really great experience with it. What I like the most is how fast and straightforward the platform is. You don’t have to waste time navigating complicated menus—everything is well organized and easy to use from the start. I also really appreciate the clear organizational chart, which makes it simple to understand the team structure and quickly find anyone in the company. On top of that, it truly feels like it’s worth every dollar paid each month. Our HR team also uses it to manage and assign our salaries, which makes everything more transparent and organized. Another big plus is their customer support. Whenever we’ve had issues with the platform, they’ve responded quickly and worked efficiently on bugs or errors. For example, they once resolved a login issue in less than 2 hours, which really shows how responsive and reliable they are. Overall, it’s a very efficient tool that makes day-to-day HR management much easier.

Cons

That said, one area for improvement would be customization. The platform doesn’t allow much flexibility to personalize certain features, and in many cases, it depends on a manager to make changes or updates, which can slow things down.

### "HORRIBLE - Save yourself the time and headache and DO NOT Purchase"

February 27, 2026

1.0

Simply the WORST tool to have existed in the HRIS or payroll world - specially if using it outside US as well. Although even in the US their payroll was a mess - even now - months later - we are still trying to fix the problems THEY made for THEM! Horrible!

Pros

Nothing at all - worst tool to have existed in history! Please do yourselves a favor and consider ANYTHING but Rippling - RIP pling!

Cons

Rippling is extremely problematic and useless. The system creates issues unimaginable because it's set up in such an odd and illogical way. Everything breaks whenever you try to do anything. While workforce planning isn't so bad, everything else is absolutely horrible. We faced a lot of mistakes with payroll as well that we are still auditing, which has cost us countless hours and a lot of money to fix. Rippling was also supposed to help with IT, automation, and provisioning, but that doesn't work either. The setup wasn't easy, even though I wasn't directly involved.

### "Rippling: an Excellent Jack of All Trades in HCM and Business Administration"

April 12, 2026

5.0

Overall, Rippling is a very powerful platform and a massive upgrade from our previous systems. The way it centralizes HR, IT, and benefits is seamless, and our employees love the clean, modern interface for requesting time off and viewing pay stubs. Managing multi-state compliance is a breeze. However, it does have a bit of a learning curve on the admin side, particularly when it comes to building out custom reports or navigating complex policies. Despite those minor quirks, the sheer amount of time it saves us on onboarding and payroll makes it well worth the investment.Customer support is quick and well provided by efficient and well-trained chatbots and a ticketing system. Direct, live phone support can be difficult to reach, but standard employees are completely able to fix their issues by submitting tickets through admins. Customer support in general is excellent.

Pros

Excellent overall experience. Rippling effectively serves as the central hub for all our HR and benefits administration. It’s user-friendly, scales easily with our remote workforce, and automates the tedious administrative tasks that used to eat up our day. It’s easily one of the best software investments our team has made. The platform is incredibly intuitive for our employees to use, and having a single source of truth for everything from address changes to benefits enroll-ment has drastically reduced administrative overhead for our team. Highly recommend it for growing companies.

Cons

Because Rippling handles so much—HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll—the back-end interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming. Admins frequently complain that simple tasks or settings are buried under multiple menus, and configuring highly customised workflows requires a lot of trial and error.

### "Great HR Management tool"

May 11, 2026

5.0

I have experience using HR Management tools, and some have been kind of dull. When I started using Rippling, it felt natural and efficient.

Pros

I like how easy it is to keep track of your team's attendance, PTOs, vacation days, and one-on-one sessions. There are rarely any issues with the page; I have never seen it crash. The IA it uses to assist you with concerns works great, so no customer support issues there. We get the time logged in from there, and we have never had any issues with payroll or time reported. I cannot speak of "Value for Money" or "Setup" since I am not in charge of those.

Cons

If you are new, it takes a little time to get used to it. Also, it does not let you save your own favorite pages. Other than that, I think it works great.

### "Seamless Global Payroll: A Contractor's Perspective on Rippling"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been excellent. It removes the administrative headache of being an international contractor. I don't have to worry about whether my hours are logged correctly or how the currency exchange will be handled: Rippling just takes care of it. While the security settings can be a bit sensitive, the reliability of the platform and the ease of use far outweigh that minor inconvenience. It feels like a modern tool designed for the modern, global workforce.

Pros

The standout feature of Rippling is how it simplifies the complexity of international payments. As a contractor, the "hands-off" approach to currency conversion is a lifesaver. The platform handles the transition of payments into Euros flawlessly, ensuring that what I see on my schedule is precisely what arrives in my account without hidden complications. Additionally, the user interface is exceptionally well-structured. Unlike other legacy HR systems that feel cluttered, Rippling offers a clean, intuitive experience where my schedules and payroll history are always easy to find. It’s a powerful "all-in-one" hub that bridges the gap between time management and global compensation perfectly.

Cons

The only significant drawback is the aggressive 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) and session timeout policy. Security is important, but the current configuration is a bit overzealous. There are times when the web platform logs me out after just five minutes of inactivity, requiring a fresh login and a new security code. It would be a massive improvement if Rippling allowed for "Recognized/Trusted Devices" to extend session lengths. Having to reauthenticate multiple times during a single workday feels redundant and interrupts the workflow. PS: I have to say that this seems to have improved in recent weeks!

### "Great user face with regular updates, but needs more stability with Personal Vault"

May 11, 2026

5.0

I'm constantly impressed by Rippling as a whole, but the password management system and IT tools are very nice. I helped us pick out Rippling for our company at Strider Bikes, and we added on the IT bundle because we we're using a free desktop only tool for managing passwords and we were running into a lot of issues with that.

Pros

I love how customizable the Password management is, (RPass). You can organize through folders, tags, departments and vaults. Each password can have its own sharing permissions which is incredibly handy when managing passwords for departments and team. You can mark a password as "Marketing" and set up rules so that anyone who currently works in Marking has access. Really nice. The other IT management aspect that I really love is when hiring a new employee, I can auto create accounts for Basecamp, Trainual, Microsoft, NetSuite, etc. So handy.

Cons

When you forget your password for Rippling or Rpass, and you reset it, you lose all of your RPass personal vault passwords. That's a huge risk! I've recommended to my team to save every password in the company vault and just be strict with the permissions because I would hate to spend hours putting passwords in and if I for some reason need to reset my password, all that work is gone. I understand it's a security thing, but I wish there was a workaround.

### "Easy Setup and User-Friendly Experience with Rippling"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Setting up our Rippling account was surprisingly fast and straightforward. The onboarding process is well organized, with clear step-by-step guidance that made it easy to add employees, configure payroll, and connect benefits without needing extensive support. The interface is clean and intuitive, so even team members with limited HR or payroll experience were able to navigate it confidently. Day-to-day tasks like managing time off, onboarding new hires, and running payroll are streamlined and efficient. Overall, Rippling has been very user-friendly and has simplified a lot of administrative work for our team.

Pros

What we like most about Rippling is how it brings payroll, HR, benefits, onboarding, and device management together in one easy-to-use platform. The automation features save a significant amount of time by reducing manual tasks, and the system is intuitive enough that employees and administrators can quickly learn how to use it. We also appreciate how seamless onboarding and employee management are, making day-to-day operations much more efficient.

Cons

What we like least about Rippling is that some of the more advanced features can take time to fully learn, especially when customizing workflows or settings. While the platform is generally intuitive, there can be a slight learning curve when exploring all of its capabilities.

Moving to Rippling gave us a more streamlined system with better usability and faster access to support when questions come up.

### "Simple and practical HR platform for everyday employee needs"

April 11, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience with Rippling has been very positive. It makes it much easier to handle the administrative side of work. I use it regularly to track my hours, check my salary payments, and review my benefits. Everything being centralized in one platform saves time and makes it easy to stay organized. The system is reliable and the interface is straightforward, so even routine tasks take just a few seconds.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is how easy it is to use in day-to-day work. At NextDay I mainly use it to log my hours, check my pay statements, and review my benefits. Having everything in one place makes a big difference. The interface is very clear and simple to navigate, so I can quickly find things like tax documents or salary information without needing to ask HR. For employees, it really simplifies a lot of the administrative side of work.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the visibility around some payroll details. Sometimes I would like to see a clearer breakdown of certain deductions or calculations directly in the platform. It’s not a major issue, but having more transparency in those areas would make the experience even better.

### "Lack of Payroll Capability for multi-unit franchisee"

May 8, 2026

1.0

We selected Rippling expecting it could support a franchise payroll environment where employees regularly work across multiple locations. That proved not to be the case. The platform’s upload and payroll functionality could not properly accommodate multi-location labor allocation. After extensive work with support and leadership, the only workaround offered was manual payroll entry for employees across locations — employee-by-employee and data field-by-data field. Additional issues included: capabilities discussed during sales that were unavailable in the U.S.; double payment of quarterly payroll taxes in the six figures during implementation; delayed recovery of those funds; incorrect refund allocations between business entities; and unresolved rebate/refund commitments. Leadership did acknowledge many of these failures and escalated internally, which I appreciate. However, the operational impact on our organization has been significant. Franchise operators and businesses using POS-integrated timekeeping systems should carefully verify multi-location payroll functionality before committing.

Pros

Time off tracking was seamless from employee and administrator perspective. Document management system was adequate (although didn't allow editing during the approval process).

Cons

### "Strong promise, inconsistent delivery"

January 22, 2026

1.0

Rippling is a platform with strong potential and a compelling product vision, supported by good integrations and a capable sales organisation. However, ongoing stability issues, slow resolution times for complex problems, and limited visibility into product changes make day-to-day operations more difficult than they should be. With improved platform reliability, clearer roadmap communication, and a stronger focus on quality over speed, Rippling could deliver much more consistently on its promise.

Pros

Rippling has a highly engaging and polished sales team that does a great job explaining the platform’s potential and capabilities. From a systems perspective, Rippling has also helped streamline key integrations, particularly between Rippling and Azure. This has meaningfully supported our IT teams in managing user access, provisioning, and deprovisioning more efficiently, reducing manual effort and improving overall control.

Cons

The biggest challenge has been platform stability across core modules. Features can break or change without notice, and fixes in one area often create downstream issues elsewhere. This creates operational friction and increases reliance on support and engineering escalation. There is also a noticeable gap between what is sold as available or “ready” functionality and what is consistently stable in practice. Stronger testing, clearer communication around changes, and more realistic positioning of product maturity would significantly improve the experience.

### "We strongly recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Rippling."

March 31, 2026

1.0

We strongly recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Rippling. Our experience has been deeply concerning, especially around payroll accuracy—the most critical function of any HR platform. Rippling recently admitted that a system bug caused employees to be paid overtime and double overtime that they never worked. This was not user error—it was a failure in their payroll calculation logic. We were then instructed to recover those funds from employees, placing the burden and risk on us for a mistake we did not make. This alone is unacceptable. But it’s part of a larger pattern. We have experienced repeated system failures, including: Incorrect, system-generated paychecks during offboarding PTO and time-off miscalculations affecting final wages Broken workflows creating duplicate or unintended payments Benefits enrollment errors leading to compliance risks Severe system delays (up to 45 minutes for basic actions) Support has been equally frustrating. We’ve been passed between teams with no clear ownership or resolution. Issues remain unresolved while operations are disrupted. These are not minor bugs—these are fundamental failures in payroll and compliance. A platform handling employee wages should not operate at what feels like a beta level. While Rippling acknowledged the payroll error and partially covered costs, they refused to take full responsibility, leaving us to manage the consequences with our employees. If payroll accuracy, compliance, and reliability matter to your business, we cannot recommend Rippling. There are better, more stable alternatives available.

Pros

Nothing really. It has been a nightmare and encourage others to avoid it. Rippling is the worst payroll we have ever dealt with

### "Solid All-In-One HR Platform"

April 25, 2026

5.0

Rippling has been one of the more pleasant surprises in our vendor stack. We're a small consulting firm (sub-15 FTEs) running a PEO setup, and it handles payroll, benefits, and device management in one place without making me feel like I need a certification to use it. Onboarding new hires is fast. Benefits enrollment is clean. The fact that it connects to our other systems without a lot of manual intervention is genuinely valuable.

Pros

The unified platform. I don't have to toggle between five tools to onboard someone, assign a laptop, enroll them in benefits, and run payroll. It's all there, and it mostly just works. The PEO structure also gave us access to Aetna health plans we wouldn't have been able to negotiate on our own as a small employer. That alone was worth it.

Cons

The support experience can be inconsistent. When something's simple, the documentation is fine. When something's complex, like state-specific employer registration or mid-year benefit changes, you can end up in a loop between chat support and figuring it out on your own.

Reason for choosing Rippling

PEO access, unified platform, their ability to handle multi-state and overseas complexity, and compliance support.

### "Great HR platform for startups ready to scale"

March 13, 2026

4.0

The overall experience has been above average. as a fellow Y Combinator company they take care of their fellow alumni with their Founder Mode deal which gives you 1 year of all Rippling features for free to evaluate, along with excellent customer support directly over Slack.

Pros

We are a small startup that started last year backed by Y Combinator, the same accelerator that incubated Rippling. We use Rippling as our standard HR system and payroll management, which allows us to delegate tax deduction, health insurance, 401K without having to set it up from scratch. As part of the Y Combinator deal, we also get 1 year of free Founder Mode subscription which helps us evaluate the product at no cost which is excellent. Our fundamental reason for picking Rippling over other startup-focused HR companies was the maturity of the platform and their top tier sales team, which can be pushy at times but generally were quite helpful.

Cons

The sales team was a bit pushy which was not fun. The other issue is that there is feature sprawl in the platform which makes it hard to navigate and worse makes it feel slow and bloated when 99% of those options are not needed for us as a small startup.

### "A Reliable Solution for Managing HR and Employee Data"

March 6, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The platform makes it easy to manage HR processes, payroll, and employee information in one place. Its automation features help reduce manual work and improve efficiency. While there is a slight learning curve due to the number of features available, the system overall is reliable and user-friendly.

Pros

Overall, my experience with Rippling has been very positive. The platform is intuitive and makes it easy to manage HR, payroll, and employee data in one place. I appreciate how streamlined the processes are, especially for onboarding and managing employee records. The automation features save time and reduce manual work, which helps improve efficiency. While there are occasional areas that could be improved, the system overall has been reliable and user-friendly.

Cons

What I like most about Rippling is the all-in-one functionality. Having HR, payroll, benefits, and employee data in a single system makes managing processes much more efficient. The platform is user-friendly, and the automation features significantly reduce manual work.

### "Best App ever"

April 10, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. I found the platform to be highly efficient in bringing together HR, IT, and finance operations into a single, unified system, which significantly reduces the need to switch between multiple tools. What stood out most to me was the level of automation—tasks like onboarding, managing employee data, and assigning system access felt streamlined and well thought out. This not only saves time but also minimizes manual errors. At the same time, there is a bit of a learning curve due to the platform’s wide range of features, but once familiar, it becomes a powerful tool. Overall, I see Rippling as a well-designed, scalable solution that solves real operational problems effectively.

Pros

What I like most about Rippling is how it unifies multiple traditionally separate systems—HR, IT, and finance—into a single platform. Instead of companies juggling different tools for payroll, device management, and employee data, Rippling centralizes everything, which makes operations faster and less error-prone. I’m especially impressed by the automation aspect—like onboarding a new employee where their payroll, laptop setup, app access, and permissions can all be handled in one workflow. That level of integration shows strong product thinking and real-world problem solving. From a technical perspective, I appreciate how this kind of system requires scalable architecture, clean APIs, and strong data consistency—areas I’m genuinely interested in working on and learning more about.

Cons

One aspect I like least about Rippling is that its all-in-one approach, while powerful, can make the platform feel complex and overwhelming—especially for new users or smaller teams that don’t need the full suite of features. Because so many critical functions are centralized, it can also lead to a higher learning curve and dependence on a single system. If something goes wrong or needs customization, it may impact multiple workflows at once. Additionally, such tightly integrated systems sometimes limit flexibility compared to using specialized tools, which can be a drawback for companies with very specific or unique requirements.

### "Rippling is a significant upgrade from our legacy payroll and timekeeping provider"

February 10, 2026

5.0

Our experience has been extremely positive. Rippling is modern, easy to use, and significantly reduces administrative work for both HR and employees. The implementation process was well managed, and the platform has performed exactly as expected since go live. We would absolutely recommend Rippling to other organizations.

Pros

Rippling delivers excellent value for the cost. Payroll, timekeeping, PTO, and employee management all work together in one clean platform. Payroll runs are fast and reliable, onboarding new employees is simple, and employees can manage their own personal and direct deposit information without HR involvement. The implementation and support teams were responsive, knowledgeable, and made the transition from Paychex smooth.

Cons

There is a learning curve when first getting familiar with all the features, but it is well worth it given the efficiency gains.

Reason for choosing Rippling

Rippling's solution shined when it came to overall ease of use and implementation of a highly complex platform such as payroll, timekeeping and HCM. Additionally, its ability to create complex reports as well as define custom workflows based on variables within the system sold us on their solution.

Switched from

[Paychex Flex](https://www.capterra.com/p/119841/Paychex-Flex/)

We were frustrated with the pricing model at Paychex. And the way they acquire products and then smash them into their product offering vs. developing an integrated solution from scratch. Rippling was developed in-house from the ground up, and it's clear that each piece of the application was designed to work with the next part. There was difference UI elements for different sections of the solution, and eases the learning for administrators and employees alike.

### "Excellent for international payments and easy to use"

January 31, 2026

5.0

My experience is very good. Rippling helps me receive my salary and reimbursements quickly. It is very easy to navigate and not confusing at all. I use it for everything: checking my payments, requesting time off, and managing my team. It is a great tool for people working internationally.

Pros

I like that payments arrive on time and very quickly. It is excellent for international payments because I can receive money in dollars and Colombian pesos without problems. The interface is very easy to use on my phone and computer. Also, requesting expense reimbursements is fast and simple.

Cons

I don't receive emails when my vacation days are approved; I have to check the app manually, but there is probably a configuration that I have disabled to mute all notifications. Also, when the company rehired me, a new account was created. This caused me to lose the configuration for my dollar account in Panama, and I had to contact support to fix it, because the only available country was Colombia. Additionally, the integration with Google Calendar generates an event when time off is approved; however, it is not an Out of Office event, so it doesn't automatically decline meetings, and the unavailable icon won't appear in Slack, so I have to manually create the Out of Office event.

Switched from

[Pilot](https://www.capterra.com/p/186313/Pilot/)

I don't know if I picked the right Pilot, because as far as I know, it was renamed to Plane. I think the company did the switch because Rippling has more features, especially for onboarding and employee management.

### "Powerful all-in-one HR platform with a learning curve"

January 30, 2026

4.0

Overall, Rippling has been a strong experience. It significantly reduces operational overhead by automating repetitive HR and IT tasks and keeping employee data consistent across systems. Once configured properly, it works smoothly and scales well with team growth. However, it requires time to set up correctly and a clear understanding of pricing upfront. Best suited for growing or mid-size companies that want automation and are willing to invest time in setup.

Pros

What stood out most is how Rippling brings HR, payroll, IT, and employee management into one place. The automation is genuinely useful. Onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, and access provisioning all happen with minimal manual effort. The integrations with tools like Google Workspace and Slack save a lot of admin time. The UI is modern, intuitive, and feels built for scaling companies rather than just small teams.

Cons

Pricing is not transparent and can be confusing since everything is modular. You don’t really know the full cost until you talk to sales and start adding features. The platform is powerful, but that also means setup can feel complex at first. Support response times can be slow at times, especially for non-critical issues, which can be frustrating during payroll or configuration changes.
