Pros Rippling is really friendly, easy to use and provides clear information. I like it because allows to manage many information and have it clear for everybody. It has been a great resource to keep track of my paternity leave days, and make accurate requests to the NJ Department of Labor for my state's paternity leave insurance benefits. Pros It is a very intuitive and straightforward tool, which helps me to avoid the hassle of "switching" from one different tool to a different one and checking in different platforms information that I need. Cons There is an opportunity area related to AI, where the user could type/say (for instance) "hey, I would like to know, given my yearly accrual, and if I take x amount of vacation days in November, if I would have the right to request x amount of vacation days in November", or calculations that the user still does by hand based on the information provided by Rippling. This streamlines what use to be multiple access points for admins and employees and allows for a simple, single platform. Our employees love the access and simplicity and our admins love the ease of use and time it saves. We've had repeated issues with delayed payments, and at times no payment at all, which is completely unacceptable for any payroll provider. What makes the situation even worse is the lack of direct customer support — there is no phone number to call, and getting help through their system is frustrating and slow. For a platform that handles payroll, accuracy and accessibility should be a top priority, but that hasn’t been my experience. Overall, it has been a stressful and unreliable service. I would not recommend Rippling for payroll management. Pros The platform itself has a clean layout and is easy to navigate. In theory, the system has useful features and could be convenient if everything worked as intended. Cons My experience with Rippling has been extremely frustrating. Getting my information set up for onboarding was a constant struggle, with repeated issues and delays. At one point, someone gained access to my account and changed my bank information without my authorization, which was alarming and completely unacceptable. Payments were delayed — and sometimes not processed at all — and there’s no direct phone support to resolve urgent issues. Overall, I found Rippling to be unreliable and very difficult to work with.
