Compared to Asanify (which felt buggy and less reliable), Rippling is much more stable. I rarely need to reach out to HR because everything is available inside Rippling, so it has become the main HR portal for us.

Pros

Rippling has the best UI I’ve used in an HRMS. Everything is clean and easy to navigate. The org chart is properly organised and very clear. Time and leave tracking is also well structured, and the leave categories are separated nicely (annual leave, optional holidays, etc.). I also like that my profile has all details in one place like joining date, employee number, salary details, and more. Performance reviews have been smooth and formatting is perfect.

Cons

The learning curve is a bit steep in the beginning. We also faced a few onboarding issues while shifting from Asanify, but support helped and it got sorted before payroll.

Reliable, with minor glitches, but with outstanding support team that is responsive and helpful in most of the time! Overall, I do like working with them and their tool. I believe they do have improvements to make for their Canadian customers, but I also know that they are working and improving all the time. One suggestion - they really need to send out announcements before their product updates, which currently I do nto believe is happening. There have been a couple of times that their improvements have affected certain areas that they were not improving, by making those glitch (as software sometimes does), but again they have been wonderful helping fix those, so I still think they are worth the $.

Pros

Reliable, with minor glitches, but with outstanding support team that is responsive and helpful in most of the time! The Spend management module has made a real difference in employee reimbursement for us. It saves time for me not to chase others for receipt uploads, makes the approval workflow easy and quick. Minor UI inconveniences, I would love to have the ability to sort the existing records by my preferred fields, this will need to be improved.

Cons

specifically for Spend management I think UI needs improvement. The filters are not flexible. I would much prefer to be able to filter by (paid / unpaid), or date and name - the only way you can currently sort by name keeps popping you to all expenses screen after each receipt view, this is time consuming and a bit annoying especially if you have too many expenses and employees to go through... I hope this is on their roadmap to be made more flexible.

### "4 out of 5 start for Rippling: Pros outweigh the cons"

Overall this is a great product. We're a smaller company and Rippling has a lot of features that would be amazing for large organizations - we're just not big enough to need them or find value in them, but it's still great for a company of our size (~50 employees/contractors). We moved from TriNet/Zenefits becuase they were completely changing their service structure and increasing our cost considerably. As the main admin using our HRIS systems, Rippling is by far a superior product and was less expensive than staying with TriNet.

Pros

Payroll: it shows exactly what has changed for each individual from cycle to cycle, so I can easily flag any issues Reviews: Very easy to set up and to customize, and able to set different due dates for different aspects of the review process (and set different forward facing and internal due dates) Spend/Finance: Can't say enough about how nice it is to manage our credit cards, expenses, and reimbursements all from our HR platform. It's one of their newer offerings so there are improvements that could be made, but it's still a huge step up for us from how we were managing these, from both the admin side and employee user experience.

Cons

The main issue we've encountered is in the Benefits module, and that we're not able to fully configure our medical insurance company contributions in the way that we want to. We've opted for a bandaid fix for now, which means that some employees' information is incorrect, and are really hoping that they make product changes before our next Open Enrollment cycle at the end of the year. Due to the contributions issue, I have to manually update payroll deductions. This hasn't been quite as smooth as it should be, and there have been some challenges getting the Benefits deductions area to correctly sync with Payroll. We've opted not to connect our company email with Rippling, and because we're not using that feature, it's not allowing us to enter work email addresses at all in individuals' profiles. It's not a huge issue, but is inconvenient. Our implementation manager said that there should be a way to fix this, but our account manager wasn't able to provide much guidance so I haven't looked into it further.

Rippling make the HR managment extremely easy. Before i had to email HR team to get any detail about my payment, or to notify about my working hours or any expense i had. Rippling has it all in their software, i can register my time worked, check my paystub, know exactly what im being paid for and then they manage the payments, track them and every step is way easier than it was before

Cons

Not sure as i only use it to register hours and receive payment and, honestly, it was perfect for that.

No Edit Functionality: Once a leave request is submitted, there's no option to edit or modify it. If I make a mistake in dates or need to change the leave type, I have to cancel the entire request and create a new one. This is frustrating and time-consuming, especially when the change is minor. My overall experience is a positive one. Very easy to use and the help option is able to give you a true answer. It's a great system that allows for open communication with PTO requests and timecard changes with my employees.

Pros

Ease of use! Very user friendly and gives my employees the opportunity to make corrections and time adjustments on their own, which helps greatly when it's time to do payroll. I can also see any time card errors immediately and can make those adjustments throughout the week rather than at the end of the pay period.

Cons

The amount of emails my new hires get during onboarding. That is the only complaint that I have at this time.

Pros

I do like the one stop shop function of how we use Rippling for everything from payroll fuctions, to IT management, to app management and user enrollment in the various tech platforms we utilize. Having a single source of truth for employees makes life easier to administer the day to day.

Cons

There are several instances of me having to do manual follow up in regards to the basic payroll functions like identifying missing filings or payments that should have been transmitted properly.

I have been using rippling since last july2025. and I love to tell that It's a user-friendly interface which is very easy to navigate daily tasks. and If I talk about payroll, onboarding, device managment this all are work great. and one more thing is this platform offers us wonderfull customization option which are highly valuable for enhancing the business

Cons

If I talk about the cons. of rippling the first one is pricing is not transparent and getting a precise quote required and If we stuck in any issue then only administratos can contact live support for resolving more complex issue.

Pros

Rippling is incredibly easy to use. I liked how everything -payroll, benefits, and onboarding - was in one place. The tool can be customized easily for learning and goal management. The user interface is clean, modern and intuitive and is very user friendly.

Cons

Sometimes the customer support response time felt slow when I had any urgent questions. The mobile application is convenient to use but doesn't have all the features that are available in the desktop version and is sometimes buggy.

Honestly, what I love most about Rippling is how it just makes life easier. Before, we were jumping between different tools for payroll, HR, and expenses, and it was a mess. With Rippling, everything lives in one place, and that alone has been a game changer for us. The platform is really easy to figure out. I'm not super techy, but I was running payroll on my own after just a couple of tries. And the fact that it handles taxes automatically takes a huge weight off my shoulders. Onboarding new hires used to be a headache, but now it's actually pretty quick and even kind of satisfying. Everything from their accounts to their benefits gets set up without me having to chase people around. Also, whenever I've had a question, support has been there and actually helpful, which you don't always get these days. For what it costs, I really feel like we're getting our money's worth.

As a user, what I like most about Rippling is how easy it makes everyday tasks. Things like viewing my pay stubs, managing benefits, or updating my information are all in one place and really simple to access. The interface is clean and straightforward, so I don’t have to spend time figuring out where things are. It just makes handling work-related admin stuff quick and hassle-free.

Cons

What I like least about Rippling as a user is that some parts of the platform can be a little confusing to navigate at first. Certain features aren’t always where I expect them to be, so it can take a bit of time to find what I’m looking for. While most things are straightforward, there are occasional moments where the layout or menu structure could be clearer.

### "Rippling is a good platform for HR management "

The platform is good to use, and the customer support is also excellent. I use the time-off option regularly, and I feel this is the best HR management tool I have ever used. My favorite feature is the Org chart.

Pros

I like most: 1.Org Chart 2. Security (2FA) 3. Structured modules 4. Easy to Understand and Use 5. Color Combination 6. Easy to manage employees

Cons

I feel that in Rippling, I don’t have any major dislikes, but I am not comfortable with the Cloudflare security check on the login page. I use the keyboard, and when the Cloudflare step appears, I have to use the mouse, which causes some inconvenience and latency.

### "Great HR Program"

Rippling has been a good transition for our business and helped with reporting. It's very customizable which helps with our company policies.

Pros

Rippling is a good HR product with lots of capabilities. I like that I can manage our US based employees and our international virtual assistants in one program. I also like how customizable you can get with this program.

Cons

I don't love that all items are separated by modules. The pricing can get quite high if you add every little item.

### "Strong product with excellent PEO support"

Our initial experience with Rippling’s ATS and HRIS products has been positive, with strong feedback from our employees on the slick onboarding experience. Their onboarding support for our PEO setup was very strong. We had an unusual situation involving an employee without an SSN, and the team handled it well, helping us work through the process quickly and clearly.

Pros

Initially, we were impressed by the depth of integration across Rippling’s products, especially ATS and HRIS. Following launch, we started working with them both in the U.S. as a PEO provider and in Ireland as an EOR provider. In both cases, they have been responsive, flexible and able to meet tight timelines around our preferred start dates.

Cons

Rippling is currently not able to pay contractors in local currency, so we are still using another provider for contractors based in the Philippines.

My overall experience with Rippling has been very positive. The platform has streamlined many operational and HR processes that previously required multiple systems and manual coordination. Payroll, onboarding, and employee management are all significantly easier to handle through a single interface. The automation capabilities are especially valuable and help reduce repetitive administrative work. Employees also benefit from a clean and user friendly experience. While there have been occasional bugs or learning curves with certain advanced features, the overall reliability and efficiency gains outweigh those issues. Rippling has been a strong investment for improving operational organization and scalability.

Pros

The biggest strength of Rippling is how many employee management functions it consolidates into one platform. Payroll, onboarding, benefits, device management, app provisioning, and HR workflows all work together seamlessly. The automation tools significantly reduce manual work, especially for onboarding and offboarding employees. The user interface is modern and easy to learn, even for nontechnical users. I also appreciated the ability to customize workflows and permissions while maintaining visibility across teams. Reporting capabilities are strong, and the integrations with other software platforms make operations much more efficient. Overall, Rippling creates a streamlined experience for both administrators and employees.

Cons

While Rippling is a powerful platform, there are occasional issues with system performance and certain workflows can feel overly complex when configuring advanced settings. Some features are not always intuitive initially and require extra setup time or support documentation to fully understand. There have also been instances where small bugs or UI inconsistencies created confusion during administrative tasks. Customer support is generally good, but response times can vary depending on the issue. Pricing can also increase quickly as additional modules and features are added. Despite these drawbacks, the platform still delivers significant value and continues to improve over time.
