### "Seamless Global Payroll: A Contractor's Perspective on Rippling"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been excellent. It removes the administrative headache of being an international contractor. I don't have to worry about whether my hours are logged correctly or how the currency exchange will be handled: Rippling just takes care of it. While the security settings can be a bit sensitive, the reliability of the platform and the ease of use far outweigh that minor inconvenience. It feels like a modern tool designed for the modern, global workforce.

Pros

The standout feature of is how it simplifies the complexity of international payments. As a contractor, the "hands-off" approach to currency conversion is a lifesaver. The platform handles the transition of payments into Euros flawlessly, ensuring that what I see on my schedule is precisely what arrives in my account without hidden complications. Additionally, the user interface is exceptionally well-structured. Unlike other legacy HR systems that feel cluttered, Rippling offers a clean, intuitive experience where my schedules and payroll history are always easy to find. It’s a powerful "all-in-one" hub that bridges the gap between time management and global compensation perfectly.

Cons

The only significant drawback is the aggressive 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) and session timeout policy. Security is important, but the current configuration is a bit overzealous. There are times when the web platform logs me out after just five minutes of inactivity, requiring a fresh login and a new security code. It would be a massive improvement if allowed for "Recognized/Trusted Devices" to extend session lengths. Having to reauthenticate multiple times during a single workday feels redundant and interrupts the workflow. PS: I have to say that this seems to have improved in recent weeks!

### "The 1 2 3 of rippling"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It’s a fast, straightforward platform that makes daily tasks easy to manage, with a clear organizational chart and efficient tools that truly feel worth the monthly cost. It also stands out for its responsive customer support, quickly resolving issues when they come up. While it could improve by offering more customization and reducing dependency on managers for certain changes, it remains a reliable and effective solution for HR management.

Pros

I’ve been using at work, and I’ve had a really great experience with it. What I like the most is how fast and straightforward the platform is. You don’t have to waste time navigating complicated menus—everything is well organized and easy to use from the start. I also really appreciate the clear organizational chart, which makes it simple to understand the team structure and quickly find anyone in the company. On top of that, it truly feels like it’s worth every dollar paid each month. Our HR team also uses it to manage and assign our salaries, which makes everything more transparent and organized. Another big plus is their customer support. Whenever we’ve had issues with the platform, they’ve responded quickly and worked efficiently on bugs or errors. For example, they once resolved a login issue in less than 2 hours, which really shows how responsive and reliable they are. Overall, it’s a very efficient tool that makes day-to-day HR management much easier.

Cons

That said, one area for improvement would be customization. The platform doesn’t allow much flexibility to personalize certain features, and in many cases, it depends on a manager to make changes or updates, which can slow things down.

### "Lack of Payroll Capability for multi-unit franchisee"

May 8, 2026

1.0

We selected expecting it could support a franchise payroll environment where employees regularly work across multiple locations. That proved not to be the case. The platform’s upload and payroll functionality could not properly accommodate multi-location labor allocation. After extensive work with support and leadership, the only workaround offered was manual payroll entry for employees across locations — employee-by-employee and data field-by-data field. Additional issues included: capabilities discussed during sales that were unavailable in the U.S.; double payment of quarterly payroll taxes in the six figures during implementation; delayed recovery of those funds; incorrect refund allocations between business entities; and unresolved rebate/refund commitments. Leadership did acknowledge many of these failures and escalated internally, which I appreciate. However, the operational impact on our organization has been significant. Franchise operators and businesses using POS-integrated timekeeping systems should carefully verify multi-location payroll functionality before committing.

Pros

Time off tracking was seamless from employee and administrator perspective. Document management system was adequate (although didn't allow editing during the approval process).

Cons

### "Great HR platform for startups ready to scale"

March 13, 2026

4.0

The overall experience has been above average. as a fellow Y Combinator company they take care of their fellow alumni with their Founder Mode deal which gives you 1 year of all features for free to evaluate, along with excellent customer support directly over Slack.

Pros

We are a small startup that started last year backed by Y Combinator, the same accelerator that incubated . We use Rippling as our standard HR system and payroll management, which allows us to delegate tax deduction, health insurance, 401K without having to set it up from scratch. As part of the Y Combinator deal, we also get 1 year of free Founder Mode subscription which helps us evaluate the product at no cost which is excellent. Our fundamental reason for picking Rippling over other startup-focused HR companies was the maturity of the platform and their top tier sales team, which can be pushy at times but generally were quite helpful.

Cons

The sales team was a bit pushy which was not fun. The other issue is that there is feature sprawl in the platform which makes it hard to navigate and worse makes it feel slow and bloated when 99% of those options are not needed for us as a small startup.

### "Great user face with regular updates, but needs more stability with Personal Vault"

May 11, 2026

5.0

I'm constantly impressed by as a whole, but the password management system and IT tools are very nice. I helped us pick out Rippling for our company at Strider Bikes, and we added on the IT bundle because we we're using a free desktop only tool for managing passwords and we were running into a lot of issues with that.

Pros

I love how customizable the Password management is, (RPass). You can organize through folders, tags, departments and vaults. Each password can have its own sharing permissions which is incredibly handy when managing passwords for departments and team. You can mark a password as "Marketing" and set up rules so that anyone who currently works in Marking has access. Really nice. The other IT management aspect that I really love is when hiring a new employee, I can auto create accounts for Basecamp, Trainual, Microsoft, NetSuite, etc. So handy.

Cons

When you forget your password for or Rpass, and you reset it, you lose all of your RPass personal vault passwords. That's a huge risk! I've recommended to my team to save every password in the company vault and just be strict with the permissions because I would hate to spend hours putting passwords in and if I for some reason need to reset my password, all that work is gone. I understand it's a security thing, but I wish there was a workaround.

### "Seamless All-in-One HR Solution"

May 11, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with ripling has been ten out of ten.I'm using it for a few months now.And I don't see myself turning back or going to another company.I think this is the best app for what it does, and I highly recommend it seriously

Pros

I’ve had a genuinely positive experience using . What stands out immediately is how streamlined and intuitive the platform feels. Even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, it’s quick to learn and easy to navigate without feeling overwhelmed. One of the biggest advantages is how much time it saves. Tasks that would normally take multiple steps—or even multiple systems—are handled in one place. Whether it’s onboarding, payroll, or managing employee data, everything feels efficient and well-organized. Another thing I really appreciate is how forgiving the system is. Mistakes happen, but Rippling makes it simple to go back, make corrections, and move forward without unnecessary frustration. That kind of flexibility makes a big difference in day-to-day use. Overall, Rippling delivers strong value by combining powerful features with a user-friendly design. It’s reliable, efficient, and easy to pick up, which makes it a solid choice for anyone looking to simplify their workflow.

Cons

Honestly, and I don't want anyone to think this is a joke. But my biggest issue with the app was that I wasn't introduced to this app sooner, as i've worked for multiple companies with multiple different apps. And this literally is the best app that streamlines everything. And when I turn my phone on and see the app, I don't get anxiety where other apps have given me anxiety

### "Does it Get Any Better Than Rippling?"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, I really liked , and I would've been happy to continue using it. Its capabilities heavily outweigh its deficiencies.

Pros

is an HR platform for employees that is easy to use and informative. My favorite aspects were the employee tree that shows you who does what. It makes collaboration between departments in a big company a little bit easier because you know who to contact! Doing performance reviews is easy too. Finally, there was never a pay day that came late, which is likely in part due to my company, but Rippling did their job too. Overall, this is a solid product! I'll note that my company decided to move to Insperity, which may be related to the price of Rippling.

Cons

The PTO platform was confusing. I accidentally used hours that were for the next year during a prior year because I thought that I needed to use the quantity of hours that were left. But it turned out the way it added up was more than I had left, and it took away from the next year. I wouldn't have done this if the platform were a bit clearer. It should be easy math, but it turned out it wasn't quite as easy as one would expect!

### "Solid All-In-One HR Platform"

April 25, 2026

5.0

has been one of the more pleasant surprises in our vendor stack. We're a small consulting firm (sub-15 FTEs) running a PEO setup, and it handles payroll, benefits, and device management in one place without making me feel like I need a certification to use it. Onboarding new hires is fast. Benefits enrollment is clean. The fact that it connects to our other systems without a lot of manual intervention is genuinely valuable.

Pros

The unified platform. I don't have to toggle between five tools to onboard someone, assign a laptop, enroll them in benefits, and run payroll. It's all there, and it mostly just works. The PEO structure also gave us access to Aetna health plans we wouldn't have been able to negotiate on our own as a small employer. That alone was worth it.

Cons

The support experience can be inconsistent. When something's simple, the documentation is fine. When something's complex, like state-specific employer registration or mid-year benefit changes, you can end up in a loop between chat support and figuring it out on your own.

### "Modern, Intuitive, and Great Potential for Automation!"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, we are very pleased with the improved capabilities over our previous system, and the ability to integrate it with our existing IdP to offload a lot of manual tedium in managing user and app access. The implementation team was wonderful to work with, and support has been very helpful. Their training and documentation materials have been great to review and ramp up our team.

Pros

A modern user interface that is easier to navigate and configure compared to our current system. Having the HRIS as master functionality for our current IdP is going to be of huge benefit to automating our employe lifecycle management.

Cons

They are still building out their available third-party integrations, and some require you purchase a plan/subscription through them to unlock the full benefits. This may be worthwhile, but requires some more exploration.

Alternatives considered

### "A comprehensive, well-organized workforce platform with standout customer support"

May 4, 2026

5.0

has been a reliable and comprehensive platform for managing all our people operations. As an Engineering Manager at a SaaS startup, I use it daily for payroll, contractor hours approval, leave management, and even my work permit was handled through it. The experience has been consistently smooth — everything is well organized, workflows are intuitive, and the support team is genuinely responsive and knowledgeable. It's the kind of platform that quietly does its job well without getting in the way.

Pros

Honestly, two things stand out. First, the platform is really well organized everything is where you'd expect it to be, and it doesn't feel overwhelming despite how much it covers. Second, their support team is genuinely excellent. Anytime I've had a question, the response has been fast and actually helpful, not just a link to a help article. For a busy Engineering Manager, that combination of good UX and reliable support makes a real difference.

Cons

The onboarding experience for new users could be more intuitive. Given how feature-rich the platform is, new team members can feel slightly overwhelmed when they first log in. Role-based onboarding flows or guided checklists tailored to each user's role would make the initial ramp-up much smoother. That said, this is a minor observation, once you're past the initial learning curve, the platform is excellent.

### "Great Tool That Only Needs Slight Improvement"

February 25, 2026

4.0

Overall, it was fairly easy to navigate on 's portal minus the issue of finding the "home" button every once in a while. Rippling will do a good job of remind you of deadlines and action items so you won't miss them but sometimes the constant reminder will annoy you. As an employee at my firm, Rippling has made it helpful for me to navigate a lot of employee tools such as benefits, payroll, hsa, and time off and for that, I appreciate and am a happier employee because of it. I used ADP in the past and I feel that Rippling is easier to navigate. Although Rippling can definitely improve on the "home" screen button, I did find ADP even harder to navigate and find tools. Rippling is definitely an improvement from ADP in terms of navigating from tool to tool within the portal.

Pros

Compared to ADP, I find in general - much easier to navigate. I like how organized my time off requests are kept track of in Rippling, I can easily see my past and current time off requests as well as see the balance that I have remaining. Rippling has been great for keeping track of my current paychecks and has a storage for past paychecks.

Cons

Sometimes, it is hard to find the "home button" when navigating to many different areas on , such as from moving to HSA to moving to payroll and then moving to time off requests which I have done many times, I often find myself at a lost to where the "home button" is. Sometimes, I find it easier to close out of my browser and log into Rippling again to save me time from navigating back to the home screen because I simply cannot find it. I also find it annoying that when we have to complete a performance review or complete our annual HSA and health benefit elections, that Rippling will email us every day multiple times a day until we complete this. The reminder is nice but needs to way less frequent. I don't like getting automatic emails twice a month reminding me I got paid today. I simply do not need this constant reminder and it also floods my inbox personally.

Pros

I do like the one stop shop function of how we use for everything from payroll fuctions, to IT management, to app management and user enrollment in the various tech platforms we utilize. Having a single source of truth for employees makes life easier to administer the day to day.

### "All-in-One Solution That Simplifies Work and Payments"

November 8, 2025

5.0

I really enjoy using ! It’s not only where I get paid, but also a platform that gives me easy, direct access to everything related to my payments, worked days, requests, and even performance indicators. It’s incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Plus, I love that it offers multiple options to withdraw money without excessive fees — it truly makes managing payments smooth and stress-free.

Pros

What I like most about is that everything is clearly recorded and organized in one place. It really simplifies communication between my employer and me, making it easy to track requests, payments, and any updates without confusion.

It has been a good experience, locating and using the features as needed, especially when I was actively paying contract employees.

### "HORRIBLE - Save yourself the time and headache and DO NOT Purchase"

February 27, 2026

1.0

Simply the WORST tool to have existed in the HRIS or payroll world - specially if using it outside US as well. Although even in the US their payroll was a mess - even now - months later - we are still trying to fix the problems THEY made for THEM! Horrible!

Pros

Nothing at all - worst tool to have existed in history! Please do yourselves a favor and consider ANYTHING but - RIP pling!

Cons

is extremely problematic and useless. The system creates issues unimaginable because it's set up in such an odd and illogical way. Everything breaks whenever you try to do anything. While workforce planning isn't so bad, everything else is absolutely horrible. We faced a lot of mistakes with payroll as well that we are still auditing, which has cost us countless hours and a lot of money to fix. Rippling was also supposed to help with IT, automation, and provisioning, but that doesn't work either. The setup wasn't easy, even though I wasn't directly involved.

### "Easy to Use Payroll and All-in-One HR Solution That Saves Time and Effort."

March 19, 2026

5.0

I have had a good experience with . It has simplified and streamlined the HR and payroll activities. It used to take time to maintain employs and remuneration procedures, but currently it is all automated and streamlined using Rippling. The site aids in enhancing the productivity and minimizes human errors. It is particularly applicable when expanding businesses which would like to have everything under one roof. Some minor issues are overshadowed by much more positive aspects, and it is a sound way of HR and employee management.

Pros

is an extremely potent and convenient platform to manage staff, payroll and HR functions under a single platform. The most attractive is that it has an all-in-one system in which the HR, IT, and payroll are all linked to each other. This saves a lot of man work and time in the process. The ease of use is excellent. The dashboard is user friendly and requires minimal training even by new users. The employee management can be used to manage employee details, attendance, and performance easily. The system of pay is quick and correct. It also automatically calculates taxes, salaries and deductions which minimizes the mistakes. The other good thing is personalization. I'm able to configure workflows, approvals and work reports depending on the company requirements. The customer care is also responsive and attentive. They make decisions fast and steer in the right direction where necessary. All in all it is highly cost effective since it integrates several tools on one platform.

Cons

The only bad thing about it is that the platform is sometimes confusing at the start due to numerous features. The time dedicated by new users might be necessary to discover it all. In some cases there are minor bugs or slowness in loading particularly with huge data. Besides certain advanced options are costly which might not be favorable to small enterprises that have a low budget. Detailed tutorials or guides should be provided to the beginners to have quicker knowledge of the platform.

### "Smooth Overall Experience with Room for Better Navigation"

May 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It simplifies most HR tasks by bringing everything into one place, making it easy to manage holidays, personal information, and requests. However, there is still room for improvement in certain areas, such as making document requests more accessible. Despite this, the platform is user-friendly and efficient for day-to-day HR activities.

Pros

is a great platform as it centralizes most HR tasks in one place, making management simple and efficient. It allows employees to easily track and manage holidays, access personal information, and handle requests without hassle. Additionally, the portal makes it convenient to request required documents anytime, improving overall productivity and transparency.

Cons

One drawback I noticed while using is that requesting official documents is not very straightforward. For example, there is no direct link or dedicated section to quickly request an employment verification letter. Instead, the process requires going through the chat or support system, which adds unnecessary steps and takes extra time. This can be inconvenient, especially when the document is needed urgently, and a more direct option would improve the experience.

### "Best App ever"

April 10, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with has been very positive. I found the platform to be highly efficient in bringing together HR, IT, and finance operations into a single, unified system, which significantly reduces the need to switch between multiple tools. What stood out most to me was the level of automation—tasks like onboarding, managing employee data, and assigning system access felt streamlined and well thought out. This not only saves time but also minimizes manual errors. At the same time, there is a bit of a learning curve due to the platform’s wide range of features, but once familiar, it becomes a powerful tool. Overall, I see Rippling as a well-designed, scalable solution that solves real operational problems effectively.

Pros

What I like most about is how it unifies multiple traditionally separate systems—HR, IT, and finance—into a single platform. Instead of companies juggling different tools for payroll, device management, and employee data, Rippling centralizes everything, which makes operations faster and less error-prone. I’m especially impressed by the automation aspect—like onboarding a new employee where their payroll, laptop setup, app access, and permissions can all be handled in one workflow. That level of integration shows strong product thinking and real-world problem solving. From a technical perspective, I appreciate how this kind of system requires scalable architecture, clean APIs, and strong data consistency—areas I’m genuinely interested in working on and learning more about.

Cons

One aspect I like least about is that its all-in-one approach, while powerful, can make the platform feel complex and overwhelming—especially for new users or smaller teams that don’t need the full suite of features. Because so many critical functions are centralized, it can also lead to a higher learning curve and dependence on a single system. If something goes wrong or needs customization, it may impact multiple workflows at once. Additionally, such tightly integrated systems sometimes limit flexibility compared to using specialized tools, which can be a drawback for companies with very specific or unique requirements.

### "One Stop HR Shop "

March 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, I really like . It can serve many functions for managing an organization and allows for your team to have a central hub for information.

Pros

It's a one stop shop for all of our Human Resources related information. It's easy to access benefits, SSO logins, payroll/tax information, and to design custom learning/training programs within. When does have bugs, which is rare, the customer support team responds quickly.

Cons

Some of the user interface in is a bit confusing. They use a lot of icons to represent information and not all of the icons are intuitive so when you're first onboarding to using Rippling, it is a steeper learning curve to nail down the navigation.

### "The Ultimate All-in-One Workforce Platform"

January 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, the platform is powerful and intuitive. While the initial setup for specific payroll configurations took some effort, the automation it provides for onboarding and employee management is unmatched by other platforms we've used As you add more modules (IT, HR, Device Management), the per-user monthly cost adds up quickly, which might be steep for very small startups.

Pros

The best part is having IT, HR, and Payroll in a single dashboard. It eliminates the need for multiple logins and manual data entry across different platforms. Tax filings and direct deposits have been 100% accurate and on time since we switched.

Cons

Generally very stable, though I’ve encountered minor UI glitches during bulk employee updates During peak times (like year-end filing), the response time from support can be slower than expected for a premium-priced product

### "Streamlines leave management with minimal hassle"

December 7, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with for leave and attendance management has been positive. As a daily user, I appreciate how quickly I can submit leave requests and track my balances without needing HR intervention. The system does its core job well - managing leaves efficiently. Value for Money: From a user perspective, it seems like a reasonable solution. While I wasn't involved in the purchasing decision, the platform delivers the basic functionality needed for leave management without major complications. It provides good value for standard attendance tracking and leave requests. Ease of Use: The learning curve was minimal. I could figure out how to apply for leaves and navigate the portal within my first use without any training. The interface is intuitive enough for quick daily tasks like checking leave balance or submitting WFH requests. Employee Management: The self-service features work well for managing my own attendance and leaves. I have complete visibility into my leave history, pending requests, and available balances across different categories. Customization: Adding theme options and customizable widgets would greatly improve the user experience. Bugs and Issues: The main issue is the inability to edit or modify leave requests once submitted. Even minor corrections require canceling the entire request and creating a new one, which is time-consuming and inefficient. Employee Payroll: I primarily use Rippling for leave management, so I have limited exposure to payroll features. However, the integration between attendance and payroll seems seamless based on what I can observe. Overall, Rippling is a solid platform for basic leave and attendance management. It handles core functions reliably, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars - effective and dependable.

Pros

Ease of Use: The leave application process is straightforward and intuitive. I can apply for leaves, work from home requests, or check my leave balance within seconds without any confusion. The interface is clean enough for everyday tasks. Employee Management: The self-service portal gives me complete visibility into my leave history, pending requests, and available balance across different leave categories (casual, sick, earned). I don't need to contact HR for basic information, which saves time. This flexibility is very helpful for last-minute situations. Transparency: Request status is always clear - I can see whether my leave is pending, approved, or rejected without having to follow up separately with my manager or HR team.

Cons

No Edit Functionality: Once a leave request is submitted, there's no option to edit or modify it. If I make a mistake in dates or need to change the leave type, I have to cancel the entire request and create a new one. This is frustrating and time-consuming, especially when the change is minor. An "Edit Request" button would save a lot of hassle.

### "Rippling - Robust, Seamless, and Integrated"

December 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. As an end user, it consistently made routine tasks like viewing payroll, managing spending, requesting time off, and accessing IT resources straightforward and reliable. Having everything centralized in one platform reduced friction, saved time, and minimized the need to reach out to HR, Finance, or IT for help. The interface is intuitive, information is transparent, and the system feels dependable, which made it easy to trust for core day-to-day work.

Pros

What I liked most about was how seamlessly it brought payroll visibility, spending, time off, and IT access into a single, intuitive platform. As an end user, it reduced friction and guesswork—everything I needed for day-to-day work was easy to find, self-service, and reliable. That simplicity saved time, minimized back-and-forth with HR or Finance, and made core administrative tasks feel effortless rather than distracting.

Cons

The main downside was that some features felt more powerful than what an end user actually needs, which occasionally made certain settings or menus feel a bit dense. While the platform is very intuitive overall, there were moments where it wasn’t immediately clear which options were relevant to me versus admins. That said, this felt more like a tradeoff of ’s breadth than a fundamental usability issue.

### "Helpful Tool for Employee"

March 16, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. As a user, it’s convenient to have things like pay stubs, benefits, and personal information all in one place. Most tasks are quick and easy to complete, which makes handling work-related admin simple. While there are a few areas that could be clearer to navigate, the platform generally works well and makes everyday tasks more convenient.

Pros

As a user, what I like most about is how easy it makes everyday tasks. Things like viewing my pay stubs, managing benefits, or updating my information are all in one place and really simple to access. The interface is clean and straightforward, so I don’t have to spend time figuring out where things are. It just makes handling work-related admin stuff quick and hassle-free.

Cons

What I like least about as a user is that some parts of the platform can be a little confusing to navigate at first. Certain features aren’t always where I expect them to be, so it can take a bit of time to find what I’m looking for. While most things are straightforward, there are occasional moments where the layout or menu structure could be clearer.
