Tasks like onboarding new hires, managing benefits, and running payroll feel much more streamlined, and the automation features save a lot of time compared to handling everything manually or across multiple platforms. That said, it’s not without a few challenges. There’s definitely a learning curve at the beginning, and getting everything set up the right way can take some effort. Once you get past that initial phase, though, it becomes much easier to use and really starts to deliver value. Overall, I’d describe it as a powerful and efficient platform that’s especially helpful for growing teams—just be prepared to invest a little time upfront to get the most out of it.

What stood out most about is how it brings a bunch of typically separate systems—HR, IT, payroll, and device management—into one unified platform. Instead of juggling different tools for onboarding, paying employees, managing benefits, and setting up laptops or app access, everything is connected in one place. That means when you hire someone, you can automatically create their payroll account, enroll them in benefits, and even ship and configure their work device—all in a single workflow. Another big plus is automation. Rippling lets you set up workflows so repetitive tasks (like onboarding/offboarding or policy updates) happen automatically, which saves a lot of time and reduces human error. It’s especially appealing for growing companies because it scales well—what works for a team of 10 can still work for a team of 500 without needing to switch systems.

Pros

I like how easy and user friendly it is to go through the app and on my PC to get where I need to go on . I like how easy it is to see how much your going to get paid before my actual paycheck and make any necessary changes if need be. I also like the support Rippling gives you as a user if you encounter any problems.

Cons

Compared to Deel I think having a cash advance option feature would be great for any employee to have in case of an emergency and then money can be taken out before paying the paycheck.

I use it everyday and it has to be one of the best HR platforms I've used since I started working from home. I can be independent and I don't have to bug my HR team with endless questions or to obtain different documents. It didn't take a full week of training to understand how to use the platform which was definitley a plus. It was very simple to learn.

Pros

I don't have to have multiple logins or several apps to download because conveniently keeps all of my important HR needs in one place. I love that there is one central location for important documents and I dont have to fumble through different folder searching for what I need. I am able to punch in and out, track my time, submit PTO requests and keep track of important upcoming events. I can also mange everything benefits. I can access my health, dental, and vision provider accounts, print or show ID cards, and have full transparency into claims for each visit. All of my tax documents and personal info is right at my fingertips. So easy to navigate and it even has tutorials that help you learn how to perform common tasks.

Cons

The only difficulty I had with is submitting multiple changes to my time card for one day. I had to get help when I needed to break my day into regular time, PTO, plus admin time, and back to regular time. My supervisor had to assist. I think this could be made much simpler.

Overall experience is good, iinitial setup might took a bit more time but to be honest its worth it.

Pros

I use for HR core tasks and i really like its automation capabilities. Automation part is great because routine HR tasks like sending offer letter or documents can be automated easily. Previously, sending offer letters, NDAs, or onboarding materials was fully manual. Also, customer service is quite responsive and helpful. Rippling helps us manage our employees’ data efficiently, making onboarding and tracking time off and attendance super easy

Cons

The current Slack integration is a bit basic. I really need it to automatically notify managers on Slack whenever someone applies for time off. For a workaround, we actually built a custom integration for this. Also, the initial setup is a bit hard, but it's worth it.

The onboarding process is extremely efficient, as it automatically provisions applications and access, saving time and ensuring security. What I liked least about is the difficulty with syncing HR data to Active Directory in a multi-domain environment. While onboarding is smooth, automatically creating new hire accounts across multiple domains can be messy and requires extra effort from IT.

I really love how easy it is to set up your personal account. The user interface that uses is really top-notch. Another thing we love is that we have never had an issue with the website, which means that they are on top of any problems and deploy fixes before they even become a problem.

Cons

The main problem that we have with is the fact that payroll payments occur around the 15th and 30th of every month, but it can vary slightly, and it would make more sense if the payments happened on every other Friday or Monday.

The platform is almost TOO easy to use, both as an admin and as an employee. The company is very active with improvements. The dedicated account team is fantastic. We have automated SO many manual tasks with .

The customer service model, much like most of the leading HRIS brands, is tough to navigate at times. It's front line is an AI chatbot, which most of the time is great but can be cumbersome if you need assistance on a complicated issue. Sometimes it's a struggle just to get to a human. There are areas (Spend, GL Coding, etc) where there are obvious gaps in the logic of the system.

I have been using many Rippling features like Time-off/Leve management, Org-chart to view the organization hierarchy, Tax - Submit tax withholding information and compensation management. Across the feature I have used, Rippling is very easy to use with and intuitive interface serving as a unified IT and HR platform for the organization

Pros

1) Serves as a unified platform for HR and IT processes. My organization uses for multiple features starting from managing employee onboarding to setting up IT assets and devices 2) User friendly interface makes it easy for admins and users to navigate. Example the dashboard feature provides access to all accessible features through apps giving clear visibility into tasks, timelines and features 3) Strong automation features like automating payroll and device provisioning add the extra edge. My organization has also integrated Rippling with Slack, which further simplifies workflows 4) Rippling mobile app enables me to access all the features on the go with ease

Cons

1) Rigid dashboard interface with not much options to customize the dashboard view where it should only show the features I have access to. As of now I need to search amongst all the apps to find the features I want to use 2) Pricing model is a bit prohibitive where advanced features require additional fees 3) There is a bit of slowness observed when has to handle large volume of data. During peak usage hours this becomes a bit frustrating

Whenever I want to confirm who to reach out to, search for emails, anniversaries, payroll information, official documents, time offs, etc., I use Rippling. It is a life changer for any company that needs to have all the essentials organized, secure, and easy to use.

Pros

What I like most about is how I can easily find any organization member within a single platform; identify their roles, manager, direct report, and other useful information. Don't know who to reach out to? Rippling has the answer. I love the fact that I can keep track of birthdays and anniversaries. Share updates and important news on the feed. Keep track of the new guys so you can welcome them to the company. Store payroll and leave information. You can literally do everything an organization needs through Rippling.

Cons

It sometimes takes a bit longer than usual to load certain tabs, especially the organization chart. I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that there's maybe too much information (I work for a large company). Or if it's something they're working to fix. But yes, that gets a bit annoying when you're wanting to quickly get into details of the org chart.

Just the worst. I would never recommend it - especially for companies based in Canada. They claim to understand the payroll here, it couldn't be furthest from the truth.

Pros

The one positive: their ATS works well — clean interface, easy to use, and it made recruiting easier. But let’s be honest — you don’t choose an HRIS for the ATS alone.

Cons

I really wanted to like , but after over a year of using it, I can confidently say it caused more headaches than it solved. On paper, it sounds like a dream: one platform to manage everything HR and IT. In practice? Constant bugs, poor customer support, and features that almost work — but not quite. We ran into frequent sync issues with payroll, benefits setup that never quite worked right, and random glitches that made it impossible to trust the system without double-checking everything manually. It felt like we were paying for a beta version. The worst that happened was around payroll: they were never able to provide our official tax forms. We ended up having to bring in (and pay for) an external firm to get them done properly — which completely defeats the purpose of using a payroll platform. Support was no help at all. They clearly didn’t understand payroll and gave us vague, copy-paste responses that showed zero ownership. When you’re dealing with compliance and people’s pay, you need a team that knows what they’re doing and actually cares. Unfortunately, Rippling failed us on both fronts. Support was hit-or-miss at best — long delays, unclear answers, and often no real resolution. When you’re managing people and pay, you can’t afford guesswork or tech that breaks without warning. We’ve since moved on to another system, and honestly, it’s been a huge relief.

The platform UI/UX is the only thing that has going for them. Other than that, its absolutely terrible of a product.

Cons

If you value transparency, reliable billing, and honest business practices — look elsewhere. My experience has been riddled with unexplained charges, evasive support, and tactics I’d never expect from a company of this size. The product has promise, but it’s overshadowed by how the company operates behind the scenes. This isn’t just a “bad experience” — it’s a warning.

### "A Streamlined Workforce Management Tool with Very Minor Inconsistencies"

Overall, I have appreciated how streamlined and simple is. Once my account was set up, it has been a "set and forget" tool, which is the best kind, especially in the HR space.

Pros

I most appreciate for its simplicity on both the mobile app and the web application. Using the mobile app, I can easily update or submit my timecard in the scenario that I forget to do so while at the office. Also, the payment processing has always been on time. I also appreciate the flexibility provided through several different methods of time management (timecards, timesheets, or timeline)

Cons

There appear to be some inconsistencies regarding comments that are made either on the time requests or the timecard pages. For example, if a note is written on a workday submitted via the timecard, the same workday would not display the comment on the time request. Because the time can be reported via either method, this inconsistency is problematic.
