We got off to a rocky start for implementation, but customer service has stepped up their game since then so and we have been very pleased! Pros I really like the ease of running payroll. We are also able to onboard employees efficiently without a bunch of paper being sent back and forth. The reports you can run are endless, which is amazing. Cons It can be a little confusing to use at first. It took us a few months to get a good grasp on the software, and there are still features we don't know about. I am able to bring on new employees and get them working without a lot of time spent doing HR paperwork. Having to let someone go is difficult as it is but from the paperwork side Rippling makes that much easier. Pros Rippling is one of the best Employee Management & HR software on the market. It is very user friendly, so I did not have to spend a lot of time reading through a manual to do what I wanted to do in real time. I can bring on new hires and not be bogged down with the details of the payroll paperwork, it is almost seamless. I like the bulletin board feature that allows for company-wide announcements and the Dashboard feature that gives me information that used to require an appointment with HR but now is available at my fingertips Cons I am not required to use the report feature and don't have access. Pros The platform is fairly intuitive and easy to use, lots of support options, and they are putting out new features regularly. Cons Emails to our Account Manager go unreplied to for weeks, regular check-ins are cancelled even in the midst of multiple issues. Pros I love that Rippling is a one stop shop for all things HR and Payroll. There is so much available to help manage our team and Rippling makes it slick. Cons I don't know that this is a huge con, but I hate that I have to enter a two factor code every single time I login. Pros The dashboard is simple, and individual "apps" within it work easily on my phone or laptop. And it eliminates the need for constantly calling HR for paystubs, insurance plan info, etc. Our HR person probably likes it more than I do, and I like it a lot. Cons My least-favorite part of Rippling is the "to do" checklist. The concept is good, but I often have things on that list "to do" that I've already done. Review Source zH zdenko H. Cons The only downside it could see as a user was that it was another account I had to maintain. Rippling seems to be more interested in the software itself (user interface) than in their main responsibilities which are to ensure that employees are paid, payroll tax deposits are submitted, and payroll reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner. In those critical areas, Rippling failed miserably. We will be taking our own payroll and that of our clients back "in-house". Pros The user interface is okay, but when it involves something as important as paying employees and tax compliance, employers MUST be able to depend on payments & filings being done timely. Cons Payroll deposits (for state & federal unemployment taxes) were not made for a couple of quarters, plus the SUTA filing for Q1 of 2022 was not submitted at all. We discovered this after we began to receive notices from IRS and state taxing agencies. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Switched from [QuickBooks Payroll](https://www.capterra.com/p/174981/QuickBooks/) We believed that it would free us up to do more substantive work for our clients (tax planning, business advisory services, etc.).
