As a team manager, I can see all of my team's requests in one spot and approve quickly from a link in an email. I also just completed benefits enrollment, and with four dependents and a spouse, it was fast and easy. The visuals of the enrollment process also helped me easily understand what was changing, what the monthly cost to me would be, etc, so I could make an informed choice. Cons I didn't get to choose this platform, but as a team admin and a user, I can say that it has replaced three other softwares for our company and streamlined everything into one place. I've only ever used Rippling and Paylocity, and they don't even compare. Rippling is extremely easy to navigate and is user-friendly, and I especially enjoy the little art pieces on each paycheck. I especially enjoyed the ease of set up. Pros After a year of using this product I am very happy with how easy it is to use and process payroll. I love the integration with Quickbooks Online and how it automatically books the journal entries after the payroll is completed. Cons The navigation on the payroll page annoys me because of how you have to expand the page every time you want to see past payrolls. You cannot keep the page expanded. The ease in putting in days off or completing training makes me feel organized and prepared. Pros I love the mobile app, its easy navigation and access to everything an employee would need at their fingertips. The home page is clutter free so the information you need is exactly what is there, nothing added to confuse or overwhelm. Cons I have not found anything thus far that merits not liking. It feels like what HR should be for young folks (is 35 young, still?) that grew up around tech. Pros I like that this software is a single point access for the most used functions relating to being an employee. I can login and then the UI is intuitive to navigate to all the different buckets of life outside of work management. Vacation requests, direct deposit adjustments, etc...all one portal and no need to bother anyone in HR to adjust for you. Cons At first, setting up my healthcare was tricky because there wasn't any kind of official notice that it all got set up properly. Cons A similar platform offers an "estimated paycheck" feature, which based on changes to insurance, 401k contribution, or whatever else, the estimated paycheck is updated to reflect the changes. And it does those things very well. Would recommend to any small, growing company looking to have the capabilities and feel of a big HR/IT shop without the expense. Pros takes the "suck" out of HR and IT management. Common sense things like pre-populating forms that have similar information, or automatically surfacing the team that you manage lead to a very good experience. Cons A small nit - the open enrollment features were a bit wonky to navigate. As someone who completed open enrollment piecemeal, I had to start from scratch a few times which didn't feel like the seamless experience that I am used to. Ultimately, I figured out that even though I had to click through screens I had seen before that information was populated with my former choices. Not a huge deal but not characteristic of what is normally a pretty empathetic user experience. We're a tech company so functionality was very important to us. The PEO services are great. It integrates well with other products. Cons We're a global company so learning how to functionally utilize the product for our different countries and needs has taken some getting used to and back and forth with their customer service but they've been very responsive.
