Pros \- Intuitive Design: easy to navigate, clear menus, simple click-throughs. - Comprehensive Features: from onboarding to benefit management, have yet to find a limit to what this software can do. - Scalable for various organization sizes: our organization size is relatively small, but it revolutionized & streamlined our HR/Onboarding approach. - Mobile App: Glitch-free, useful, great to access benefit information on-the-go - Task Features: This tool can be leveraged however would best fit your organization. This results in a minimal amount of time spent fumbling around during open enrollment and gathering tax documents. Two thumbs up!! Pros I joined my current company during their transition to so I had to onboard with two different management softwares. Rippling was incredibly user-friendly and straightforward with a user interface that made sense. Cons Something that I would find useful is a "pros and cons" list for optional benefits. For example, I have never contributed to an FSA but with my new healthcare coverage it was something I was considering during enrollment. It would have been super helpful to have had easily accessible information on what and FSA is, advantages and disadvantages to enrolling in it and suggestions for different levels of contributions. Instead, I had to perform an internet search to inform my decision. Empty promises and no support" December 13, 2019 3.0 It has been terrible. Our implementation manager was pretty good but since then the support team is non-responsive (most requests take 48 hours to hear back) and the help center on the site is terrible. There are additional features you can turn on like custom fields but there is no training on how to do this and unless you know what you are looking for, you would never know where to find it. Pros Leaving Paychex we were really excited at the prospect of being able to have payroll, HR and benefits all in one place. In all of the demos we did, seemed slick and we loved all of the "add-on" possibilities. Cons We knew changing payroll companies would be a challenge but it really has been one problem after another! We have a mixture of 1099 and W2 employees which they told us they could do but it has been a payroll nightmare! All of the "add-ons" that we saw in the demo are not native to , they are partners that you can subscribe to and feed into Rippling. They typically only sync names. There is nothing you cannot achieve by using the system and once you master it, you usually stay signed in all day. We'll move to some of the other features eventually, like performance management. I really appreciate the org chart views and the quick approval of timeoff right in email--those are both far and away better than the systems we were using before. Pros We just got an amazing payroll credit from for COVID-19 relief that our accounting team hadn't yet claimed. We just switched to a few months ago, so having this six-figure credit show up out of thin air will literally pay for 20+ years of our Rippling usage. Wow, that was a shocker. Otherwise, their super-fast onboarding is completely accurate, as is their excellent payroll and timeoff. We're not using other portions of the tool yet, but we soon will be. Cons Nothing to complain about right now. I do wish it wouldn't make me login as often as it does, but that could be a security setting we have configured. It's not a huge deal either way. Whenever we have an issue or a question they are very responsive. I am so pleased with m choice of rippling. Pros What I like most about is it is so much more than a great payroll, onboard and PTO solution(this is what brought us to Rippling). Through rippling we found our 401k partner (Human Interest), our employee review partner (15five), our time and attendance tracker (when I work), and most recently our cloud-based firewall (Cloudflare). All these extra services integrate seamlessly with onboarding saving us a tremendous amount of time. Cons I wish there was phone support vs just email support. For a small business, there may only one person wearing many hats behind the scenes and setting up tax jurisdictions can be challenging and time consuming when changing payroll platforms. The easy-to-navigate time off section helps plan future time off down to the hour.
