Owner Music Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Best and least expensive shipping label service that I have found" December 30, 2020 5.0 I love Pirate Ship and recommend it to anyone shipping media especially internationally. They have the cheapest rates and it is very easy to create a label and add insurance, tracking, etc. You can even check tracking from their website. Though I had to email customer service about implementing simple export rate, it was VERY quick and easy. I've only contacted customer service twice but each time they have been very prompt and the explanation clear and concise. The only things they could add that I would love more would be Bandcamp and Amazon integration. I love that they work with Discogs and eBay Pros What drew me were the prices and the enticing simple export rate. International and media mail (the majority of my shipments) are often cheaper than if I went in to the US post office and waited in line. I love that it's integrated with some websites that I frequently sell through as well. If I have multiple packages to different addresses but have the same package details I can create several at once. Cons The first time I did a refund and had a balance I was confused as to how that worked and where to check my balance. I have since figured it out, but it was not the most direct way. You drop your prepaid label off at any postal service, they scan it, and your package goes on its merry way! I love that I can save some money and the software is user friendly. October 1, 2020 5.0 I switched to Pirate Ship to improve the shipping times of my overseas orders. I have seen VAST improvements for orders to Europe, I couldn't be happier. For some odd reason, USPS seems to always want to delay orders to Australia. But that is not Pirate Ship's problem. I love the easy view I have of my orders and their delivery times, where my packages are going. It's awesome! Pros I really, really appreciate that I can chat with support via instant text message at any time. That got me up and running in no time, and provided timely help when I needed it. No wondering how to contact support, it's a handy button on the screen at all times!! The shipping process is super simple. When that is done for the day, I love being able to scroll through my list of shipments to instantly view which have been delivered. The Pirate Ship interface is very clean, easy to understand, and quite simply beautiful. I enjoy the reports, especially the maps that show the destinations of my shipments. Cool! And of course the prices are commercially discounted, the best you can get. Cons I actually like to process each order one at a time, rather than in batches. The interface could support this workflow a tiny bit better (I always have to go back to the beginning to grab the next order). I was unwilling to pay monthly rates for occasional or low-volume FCM, most times I would just pay the higher Priority rate for the convenience of not waiting inline at the post office. Pirate Ship has me finding things to sell and ship, just because it's so easy. Thanks for your money saving "insider" tips, and simple yet comprehensive interface. Pros Setup and initial use was totally intuitive. The ebay integration was dead-simple (the only one I've used so far). I love the pass-through savings for FCM and priority with no per-month cost. And their videos/tips on how to save $$$ for novice shippers (I'm one), adds immediate value and lowers the bar for entry of new shippers. Cons A very minor feature request that only emerged after observing just how useful their "reports" tab is. Would be great to customize the reports dashboard to only display (or change the order/layout) of the data fields that are most important tot he individual user. They're cheaper than the USPS and alot better to work with if there's any issues with my mail. It's made my business alot smoother since I discovered Pirate Ship and saved me money. Cons I just get aggravated when my printer messes up a label and I have to go through the reimbursement process for the label instead of just being able to cancel it immediately, or maybe I can and I just haven't figured it out yet lol. Pros The site is very easy to use and I like that it doesn't cost to get an account with them. The best part is being able to easily ship in bulk and do everything all in one site, even notifying my customers that their shipment has been processed and when they can expect it in a click! The reports help tremendously as well, helping even more with tracking several packages - Also it helps me to find my best shipping options, seeing the price comparisons of different services. I shipped 100 boxes last year and spent almost 12 hours wrestling with the terrible USPS shipping label interface (it did not work) and then painstakingly making labels one by one on PayPal (their spreadsheet import is no longer supported). I was ready for another mind-numbing marathon of label making when I stumbled upon Pirate Ship from a Reddit post about USPS's awful website. 15 minutes later, I had purchased over 90 shipping labels with no fuss, and cheaper than USPS prices. And I was delighted to learn that I could also easily track the status of all of my packages through Pirate Ship. It's just too good to be true! Everything on their site is so user friendly, so superior to any alternative method in every aspect. It's clear that the creators have thought out how to make this the most convenient experience possible from the shipper's perspective. Recommend 1000%! Pros Contact list import, shipping label setup, tracking are all incredibly streamlined. The website interface is great, easy to use, and runs smoothly. Pros First and foremost, I came to Pirate Ship because of its low prices for my domestic package shipping needs. I had first heard about it through the hobby board gaming community, but have since used it to ship numerous packages around the country. Its interface is easy to use and its prices are always cheaper than going straight through the USPS as an individual consumer. It has now become my go-to. Cons I was completely satisfied with my Pirate Ship experience and have very little to complain about. If they are able to get volume discounts on UPS and/or FedEx in addition to their low USPS prices, it would make it an even more flexible and powerful shipping tool. Integration with my ebay account was easy, and the labels even look better than when I used to print from ebay (no dotted lines to trim away and no annoying promotional message that ebay likes to tack on). I really appreciate the savings I get with the Cubic Rate Priority--- that alone is worth using it. Overall, a fun and easy site to use and savings are AWESOME! Pros I love the SAVINGS, especially with Cubic Rate Priority Mail, which has saved me about $2 on every shipment that qualifies. This is the only software that passes these awesome savings on to us -- woo hoo! I also love that the response time is super quick if I submit a question. Great customer service! Cons Only thing that could be better is automatically importing ebay's Global Shipping Program sales. It's totally change my point of view in shipping and printing label. Now I am in control whenever I want to ship anything to my family and friends. Pros I had been struggled and hated to go to USPS, Fedex or UPS whenever I have to ship things out to my family, and friends because of the waiting line. But I found Pirate Ship and this changes everything. I am no longer struggling with shipping. This website will provide you A to Z and have an option for you to pick which shipping company you want to use. When you fill out all information on the website, measure your package and weight it, then fill out the information in the requested area. After that, the page will show you all the options of which shipping company you want to use with the prices ranged from cheapest to highest. Surprisingly, I used UPS for my first shipping package using Pirate Ship, which I always think UPS will be the most expensive due to the quality of this carrier. After you pick and pay the shipping fees for your package, print out the label and drop out your package. Pirate Ship will also show you where and when you package is and arrive. The package arrived to my family member quicker than we expected. Cons I have no problem in the first time using Pirate Ship, so I have not found anything that I like least about this software.
