Cons Nothing! They provide everything we were looking for and at a very reasonable price. Plus the customer service is fantastic. HR Manager Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Ease of use" October 24, 2025 4.0 I have been using verified first for about 4 years now and has been very easy to use and I like that it is integrated with Paylocity which helps our onboarding process go alot smoother and more seamless Pros Background checks come back very quickly and it is very easy to use for our day to day onboarding process. And the notifications to candidates are great. Pros Verified First is easy to use. Their dashboard provides easy access to information needed for specific candidates. December 3, 2019 5.0 Overall we have had a great experience with Verified First and continue to partner with them. Pros The #1 item for our company utilizing Verified First is their fantastic customer service and employees. Every time we have a question, go through a contact change, or just go through a usual account review the individuals we work with are top-notch. January 19, 2019 4.0 Pros Verified First is a software that increase security for organizations and individuals by eliminating paper copies of SSN as signed verifications. The software, once demographic information is entered into a database, pulls the information into a basic form to either email or text to allow the applicant to enter their own SSN and finish filling in the form. This is one of the more secure background check software I have interacted with. Cons Recently I have seen some improvements in the notification process... one concern I have experienced is the notification process of a completed background check. Unless an admin actively enters into the database, there was little notification to inform one that verification was necessary. It is extremely intuitive and does not require any hand-holding. That is a HUGE benefit given the minimal training I received from my predecessor.
