Pros Probably the thing I like most about OpUtils is that though the Utilities and features it has can be done through other means, the fact that they are baked into the Opmanager console makes it super convenient to use without searching all over for the functionality. Cons This is probably just a gripe about the overall Opmanager tool. The SAML authentication implementation needs some work. Which is strange to me because other Manageengine tools have SAML working perfectly. Switched from [Auvik](https://www.capterra.com/p/145245/Auvik/) Cost and functionality. The cost for the software is very reasonable for the type of network we have and compared to others like Solarwinds that I've used in the past is easy to setup and maintain. We bought other Manageengine products and the integration is fantastic between Opmanager and SDplus specifically. The ability to create and resolve tickets automatically between the two means less work for us when an issue pops up that is auto-resolved by the software. Review Source WG Waleed G. By using the IP Address Manager, it was easier for me to distinguish between the used IPs, reserved IPs, and IPs that are still available so avoiding conflicts. Cons I observed that the real-time usage graphs settings were often updated during peak period. With Manage Engine products, you need help or you need to hit the books, OpUtils is no different, that said, every ME product I've used lives up to the promise of providing data that would otherwise be difficult to compile. Pros We need a product like OpUtils to fulfill a compliance requirement. The price is reasonable and setup was relatively easy. I like that I can tie together the network scan results with data pulled from my switch. I get a much more comprehensive view of what is on my network. The rogue device identification is great but took some time to sort out (identify) non-rogue devices. Cons OpUtils has the ability to link up with a firewall but I'm running a SonicWall. That link is not available at this time. I run DHCP from my SonicWall so I'm missing DHCP data. I have submitted a feature request. I found a few of the configuration entry points unintuitive. I would recommend and am happy I have found this handy tool at a great price. Pros Setup is a breeze. I use it mostly for IP mapping and alerting of any rogue IP activity, as well as switch port mapping and alerting on bandwidth overages etc. Cons I am having an issue with the report exporting functions not working, I try to export a report in any fashion, xls, pdf etc. and they download but are blank. I have emailed support with a screenshot but I haven't tried to contact support within the product which I will try next. Overall nothing that bad to say about it, it's useful, lightweight, powerful for what features it does have, is customizable, and very reasonably priced. Also, our some of our IP scopes expanded from /24 to /23, and initially I couldn't add the new scopes without upgrading the license, but they pro-rated the license so it was very affordable to upgrade and expand our range of monitoring. Reason for choosing ManageEngine OpUtils I had used other Manage Engine products in the past and like the look and feel of OpUtils and plan on implementing Log360 and feeding the OpUtils data into it. The price is attractive and it's a powerful tool but simple enough to use quickly to get good results and alerts. Review Source
