Pros
The SEIS/EIS pre-approval and share options support services have both been excellent. Both services have been excellent - easy to use and simple user interface.
They're always great, most recently [sensitive content hidden] was super helpful helping sort an issue.
SeedLegals makes the process super simple, whichever flavour of funding you're doing. But I'd say that the platform is even eclipsed by the superb team that helps you through the deal.
Customer service is amazing, [sensitive content hidden] was our representative at Seed Legals and no question was to silly to ask, and she was always more than happy to help.
Cons
Some features of contracts are not as flexible as one can make them if drafting from scratch.
Some of the feedback SeedLegals gave us in written format was slightly confusing.
The pricing, its a big chunk to pay upfront for founders who are bootstrapping.
Only complaint is with R&D tax credits, it's a little sluggish and difficult to use however, the team easily compensates for it.

"Highly Recommend"
Pros: In the last 3 months, SeedLegals has been an invaluable platform providing templates for legal documentation, clear 'how-to' and educational articles for various company admin as well as thorough and prompt customer support (Thank you [sensitive content hidden]). The SEIS advance assurance application was the main reason I signed up to SeedLegals. The recommended revisions and advice given to maximise the success of the application proved to be invaluable. Many thanks to [sensitive content hidden] Though this was the main reason I chose SeedLegals - it seemed like an incredible deal - I'm only just scratching the surface of the value of this platform.
Cons: The chat bot would say that all the team were in a meeting (or something to that effect!) if there was no one on hand to answer a question - Would make my cofounder and myself laugh.It's really not a con - and not a big deal....... just funny.So far, it's proven extremely useful
"A life saver, as it saves so much time"
Overall: Outstanding, had various discussions with the team and they've been very helpful and always steered me down the right path.
Pros: Helped me secure S-EIS through their advice (thanks, [sensitive content hidden]), but also setting up legal documentation for the team and for fundraising, the pitch page, cap table and data room is so easy, intuitive and powerful.
Cons: Data room is a bit basic and could use with some additional functionality, like grouping documents in folders (e.g. team, legal, fundraise, etc).

Pros: The process of applying for Advance Assurance was managed in a highly professional way by Funding Associate [sensitive content hidden] and her colleagues. The account dashboard made it effortless to upload the initial details required. But the real appreciation goes to [sensitive content hidden] and her team who scrutinised every significant details at every turn ensuring the successful outcome.
Cons: At this point, we're 100% satisfied with the features, product, integrations. We're at the beginning of our fundraising journey and are happy to provide more feedback as we go along.
"HMRC Assurance for SEIS"
Overall: Excellent to date. The teams always responds swiftly, and will jump on a call to ensure exmplanations are understood.
Pros: I received first class advice from Seedlegals for preparing documents for my HMRC Approval. The first draft was analysed within a few days and detailed feedback was provided. The second draft needed only very minor tweaks and then was submitted. Approval was gained from HMRC in 3 weeks.
Cons: We have been very impressed with SeedLegals.

Overall: The SEIS/EIS pre-approval and share options support services have both been excellent. Both services have been excellent - easy to use and simple user interface. However the real added value is in the access to their experts for specific advice - huge shout out to [sensitive content hidden] who was exceptional in supporting our SEIS/EIS pre-approval and [sensitive content hidden] for his overall advice on our current seed round.
Pros: Easy well designed portal. As well as the core services we have had excellent support from the portal/ experts on successfully achieving SEIS pre-approval and putting in place a professional options scheme. The ongoing webinars are also first rate and have really helped enhance my knowledge across various important topics.
Cons: Only minor point is that we are an IOM company and all the template doc are under UK law. Appreciate IOM is a small market so probably not viable but if library docs were ever reviewed and made available for IOM law that would be even better (hasnt been a problem with SEIS pre approval or Options but menat we could use the fundraising docs).
"My SeedLegals Team Rule the Entrepreneurial Kingdom"
Overall: EMI share options, cap table, SeedFasts, Funding rounds. I am pretty lost with it all to tell the truth and still only just learning what a cap table is, but had it not been for SeedLegals and their team I would still be Googling 'how to get money for your dreams'. Here you guys are making it happen. The main thing that excites me about the platform is having a visual cap table and everything in one place. I can't imagine what a cobweb of Excel drafts, missing signed copies and badly named folders I would have created by now in our server!
Pros: Team, team, team! The product is great but it's the team that really make it fly. I've felt like they always have my best interests at heart while going through the process, setting up all these 'scary' agreements and document which are enough to give anyone indigestion. They were really gunning to help me get the best deal out of the situation for my company, that at times I felt like I was me that was letting the team down if I wasn't being ambitious enough with my final negotiations :)Great support, always smiling, always helpful. Thank you . Special thanks to [sensitive content hidden] who have carried us through this particularly challenging financial close.
Cons: Some way of better inter-team/expert communication would be good. We'd get advice from one team, say Option Pool setup then come back to the Round Closing Team only to find that, whilst that advice might be best for most scenarios, in our particular scenario it might not be - so round we would go again between the teams back and forth.
"Successful SEIS Advanced Assurance application"
Overall: Very good.
Pros: Quick responses from customer support and proper advice.
Cons: Some times incosistent responses among different representatives from customer support. Some avoid saying more about tax related questions while others do say more, which is helpful. It looks like there's always someone knowing more than the rest, and it would be good to always talk to that person.I would like to have more resources to understand how companies should proceed with a Delaware flip and the equity related matters. The new portal for investors seems to me to be placing Seedlegals in a position of conflict of interest. Can we still be claiming that seedlegals are our lawyers, if they are also our investor's lawyers?
"Awesome way to do funding online"
Overall: Really very good. I've done lots of funding deals over my career and SeedLegals really does make it all so much simpler and smoother. I really can't say enough about the team. And the price is right too, so what more could you want.

Cons: No real cons. A niggle on usability here and there but if you're in the system regularly you get used to them and the very responsive and knowledgeable team is there to help so it's all good.

Pros: SeedLegals offered hands-on guidance and a user-friendly platform - they removed the complexity and unknowns, just made it into a process, using their experience. Literally "do these things and then we'll put your application in". By following the process we were able to put in an application which was successful.
Cons: One small point was that there was one element of the application (detailing your lead investors) and you couldn't move on with a lot of the detail unless you had filled that in, which was tricky as I didn't have lead investors at first. I had to "game" it - i.e. enter dummy data - to be able to access the rest of the application, and then go back and correct the data.It is fine to say "you must complete this to submit your application", but a temporary inability to do so shouldn't stop you from filling in the other bits.
"Seed Legals user"
Overall: As a platform to find out bout various funding schemes and all the documenation needed for each one, plus advice and guidance for startups generally is invaluable and the company ethos and and their different account teams are brilliant. I highly recommnend Seed Legals to any startup
Pros: Access to documentation needed for various funding rounds and access to personal account managers for advice
Cons: The response time to get answeres via the chat bot can sometimes be very long

Overall: Very good so far. The customer support I had from [sensitive content hidden] was great! Customer support is essential to get started on the platform.
Pros: It's a centralised place used to manage every legal aspect of a start-up
Cons: Sometimes it's hard to navigate the platform and the contract. However still much easier than without this tool and with the customer support it works just fine.

Pros: Customer Service is great, [sensitive content hidden] has jumped on calls with me with no notice and walked me through, step-by-step complex processes. I will remain with seedlegals for this reason.
Cons: It's expensive for start-ups, having to pay upfront to unlock seedfast agreements isn't the best business model IMO

Overall: Amazing!
Pros: I recently used SeedLegals to help me get my SEIS in time and to answer challenging HMRC questions. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best outcome. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. They answered all of my questions promptly and provided detailed guidance throughout the entire process. I highly recommend SeedLegals if you're looking for a reliable and experienced team to help with your SEIS.
Cons: was thoroughly impressed with the software and services provided by SeedLegals. Everything was of the highest quality and exceeded my expectations. I found no cons whatsoever - the team was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive, and the software was intuitive and easy to use. Pros: SeedLegals is a complete support system of software combined with human support which is crucial when dealing with the investment elements of a start up. The software is easy to navigate and intuitive.
Cons: Nothing as yet, I am working my way through each section and haven’t encountered any issues so far.

"Every startup should start with Seedlegals"
Overall: I approached Seedlegals to help with SEIS investment applications. Before then we were struggling with the application ourselves. It seems that a certain nuance is needed to deal with the HMRC that their materials do not prepare you for. What makes Seedlegals fantastic and worth your time is that in an era of algorithms and software being used to replace human interaction, Seedlegals absolutely assigns you qualified specialists. I was dealing with 3 people all who familiarised themselves with my project and and contributed . What is great about that is that when one person becomes busy others can help pick up the slack.[sensitive content hidden] , worked tirelessly over what must have been 4 months to ensure we could submit the applications even over the Christmas period. They were regularly chasing me for information. I was receiving emails at 8pm on weekdays! They had competency d extensive knowledge in the tasks required and seem to me to be the perfect team. I cannot give this team high enough praise. I cannot.So I have filled out this review in the hopes it will give them all the recognition they deserve.
Pros: It’s ease of use, quite comprehensive, it featured no bugs that I could see. Design was sleek and it was practical .
Cons: No features that I came across were not useful.

Overall: The overall Seedlegals portal is well-built, and easy to handle. A great tool to work with.
Pros: I have to say that from Day 1, we've received excellent customer service from all the teams we've been involved with. They are knowledgeable, quick and always available to help. It's fantastic, especially when you have little expertise in the area and need to rely more on other people.

"very happy"
Overall: So far we've only gone through an Advance Assurance for EIS and an EIS compliance process but I've had a very positive experience. Our old law firm qouted 5x for the same activities and in previous rounds with them i've always felt like we've had to chase a signature here or a date there. With SeedLegals i've been impressed with both the structure of the platform and by some very clear communication from the customer support / legal advice staff.
Pros: Everything feels pretty straight forward and templated, which is precicely what is needed when you are a start up and not actually dealing with things none has ever done before, like normal seed fundraises. I've pretty much always felt like I know what the next step is and if not i've had a very speedy reply. This is not alway the case with traditional law firms I've worked with.
Cons: Still some things that requires quite a bit of click through. The process for transferring our cap table from Vestd could have been more automated, but still wasn't the worst possible user experience.
