I've added one team member and recommended it to friends and other consultants already. Couldn't be happier! Thanks for solving a vexing problem for the self-employed. Pros Because of Hyperlogs I'm accurately tracking and recording sessions and can be sure that I'm collecting money on time! I love how easy it is to log a session, record notes and export the notes to a spreadsheet at the end of the month. Cons I haven't found anything not to like about this product. I spend a long, long time trying to find a time tracker that I could depend on that was not only easy to use but also offered a rich level of features for my reporting. In Hyperlogs, I found it. Pros It seems it does have a fairly ok feature set. Cons Using it was way to much of a chore. It totally refused to be helpful in all the little ways software should help you. If I enter 40, it logs me for 40h instead of 40min and things like that (unreasonable, just cap at 8h/day and after that require additional action). In general the whole time input system was way too error prone to be useful. It needs to do the reasonable thing for your actions. I felt it did not in too many cases. I tried other software packages before but always run into limitations and the need to spend excessive time understanding their function. not with hyperlogs. Setting-up was easy and I was ready to go in no time. Cons It would be nice if one could also generate easy paper invoices without having to fall back on generating specific pdfs. February 20, 2018 5.0 Pros There was no boringly long onboarding to go through, just a quick and easy sign-up process. Once I was in, the layout looked clean and intuitive, which proved to be the case. I've used numerous products like this in the past and they've either been too cumbersome or too lightweight/incompatible. Hyperlogs finds the sweet spot right in the middle. Cons The feature list isn't fully fleshed out just yet, but that's only due to the fact Hyperlogs haven't been in existence all that long. I'm certain that they will continue to improve and update the app in fact, I believe their regular emails regarding improvements and introductions solidify my view. It has a couple of bells and whistles but it's not bloated like the other programs. My main issue is that it is too expensive for an Indian user. Most time tracking software try to do way too much and end up with a cluttered interface. I have just started using this software and have never found it putting itself in the way of my work. I would love for Hyperlogs to create a law firm version of the software. Pros I used the Hyperlogs free version for managing a portfolio of legal cases I worked for two clients who were law firms. I created my own firm codes and client matters for billing purposes. I would love for Hyperlogs to create a law firm version of this software. Cons The only issue I encountered was with an invoice that was sent with the incorrect amount to a client. February 21, 2018 3.0 This software made tracking hours I worked on projects easy and straight forward, which was an improvement over using a excel document I had been using before. Pros Easy to create clients, log hours and work types per-project. Interface is both easy on the eyes and mostly easy to understand. Cons My billing is not set on a week long cycle, and the software defaults to showing a week at a time. I prefer a project based view where I can see work items over a longer view. Additionally, I wasn't able to generate a billing statement that I could send to the customer, as I could not find an option to do so - a major reason I wanted to try the product out. Report exports also were not working. My latest attempt to log in resulted in a "this site cannot be reached" error on multiple devices. A couple of quick things: 1) We are still in Beta, and working on the invoicing piece, which should be ready and deployed by next weekend. 2) We had an outage at the data center when you tried to login and we were bringing the site back up when you tried to login. We have put some systems in place now so as to not experience that in the future. 3) Good feedback on the week view. I have added a feature request to add another view to show progress by project and not by time. Once again, thanks for trying Hyperlogs. The UI and the graphs are clear and one can tell they put thought into making it useful. Cons The apps and integrations are not on par with the competition, at least for the moment. Tracks my time, automatically creates and sends invoices. Very easy to use. Cons It bothers me that it does not track the start/stop times for my timers. Sometimes I forget to restart a timer, but I don't know how long it's off. However, there is already a way to do an export in Excel, CSV and PDF.
