There has been some times where the help desk has been unresponsive/unhelpful. But for the most part they are helpful and responsive. Pros What I like most about the software is that it is designed with Credentialing and Privileging in mind. It allows our office to run paperless and do everything electronically which saves time and money. It also has a great reporting feature where we are able to pull all kinds of personalized reports from the database. Cons The overall look of the database seems to be on the outdated side. Very boxy and looks to be from the previous century. But this doesn't affect the functionality of the software so it is a minor detail. Review Source SD Shiree D. I find the screens easy to follow. Pros Pros: Easy to use, Most like ECHO, Holds alot of information. Plus the previous director signed a 5 year agreement so we're locked in and do not have the option to shop around until this agreement is almost expired. Pros LOTS of features that assist with our Credentialing process. Easily provides lists of expirable items as we need them. Holds information for our providers easily. Cons Requiring information to be entered in multiple places within the software for everything to run correctly. The ease of looking for things is not always simple; sometimes requires review of manuals on the customer services webpage. Reports are NOT easily built! February 20, 2020 5.0 My experience with VerityStream staff has been pleasant and they are always responsive for our needs. Pros The many features to automate processes: Web-Crawl System, Online Application Portal, Online References, Database System of Records for Providers, and allows for paperless credentialing. Cons The older privileging system requires extensive support (We use older version of this now) we are now transitioning to the new MSP Module VerityStream providers and hopefully this resolves this issue. I like that there are workflows and now data to track how long it takes to credential a provider with both hospital and managed care plans. Cons Bolt reports is the least that I like. I am just now getting used to the old way and now have to learn something new. The fact that when they implement new changes and additions, it sometimes throw the permissions off. Regardless if we needed assistance with mapping forms, pulling reports, purchasing licenses, looking at demos, our experience has always been great! Pros I like that it stores my providers data, I can print my applications in seconds and holds my tracking notes. Cons The software is very easy to use but I feel the provider licenses are too expensive. It would be better to charge per user rather than per provider. We have 100 providers however we only purchased licenses for half because of the pricing. Reason for choosing CredentialStream Other products seemed a bit antiquated. Has helped us cut down our time with completing applications and great system for reminders on expirables. Pros We liked the idea of being able to upload and link documents right into the software. saves a lot of time. Cons The clunkiness of some of the features. I don't like the payer participating tab - I would like to see a drop down and be able to select payers because not all our physicians have the same payers because some are out of state. Also I like how easy I am able to complete the application for a new provider, that sometime need more them ten application and with just two click am able to complete it in the minimum time possible. Cons what i like least if that every time I complete an application the software take me out as soon as I open the application so i have to log in every time I need to complete the app. Review Source TR Travis R. Pros The workflow tracking and alerts so that you do not overlook expiring documents or outstanding projects. Cons It has limited reporting ability if you want detailed reports/searches. September 20, 2022 5.0 Like all credentialing systems it has its ups and downs, but I feel it ticks more boxes for all areas - CVO, MSO and PES than any other system I've worked in. Pros Though I don't use it much in my current role I like the Create Alerts functionality. Alerts can be created by right clicking on the section and choosing Create Alert. Once the Alert box opens the alert can be assigned to the person creating it or another CS user. Cons After updates things seem to go amiss which is frustrating. Review Source SP Shirley P.
