I do like that it talks with our Cubex and Idexx equipment. **Pros:** Shepherd is a good value for the money spent with 7 DVM's and not having to pay for the extra staff usage. The CCS team really likes the ease of scheduling appointments for our clients. **Cons:** Lately they seem to issues when they do software updates with the software have glitches. On top of that, the whole Shepherd team is very helpful and easy to work with, AND easy to get a hold of, which is something I had yet to experience with other software. **Pros:** I love how user friendly it is. A lot of things you can figure out yourself just playing around with the software, or they even just naturally flow the way you would expect them to. **Cons:** Honestly, my least favorite thing about Shepherd is very petty! That's how thorough and easy to use the software is. I do not like the ID numbers that are populated for patients-I wish they only used numbers and not a combination of numbers and letters.
