It's a great, customizable project management app that helps our team stay organized and get work done. I like the UI, it's easy to understand and easy to use. Minimal learning curve for users. They continue to add new features every month, very active development.The product is great, they just need to improve customer support follow-through until resolution. Pros Nifty offers a friendly UI to manage projects, tasks, and collaboration tools. It's easy to create projects from templates, create and manage tasks, embed various content in tasks, use markdown in task descriptions and comments, and know who's working on what and the status of projects and tasks.UI is very fast, one of the main reasons I chose Nifty and switched from Plutio. Navigating from project to project, opening and managing tasks, etc., is very fast. It saves time.It's a complete and customizable project management solution. Cons I like Nifty. It offers everything I need. My main issue is with support. Occasionally, there are bugs. But that's the nature of SaaS businesses, and I don't consider it a negative if they are fixed. So when I contact support, it can be frustrating when they disappear and don't reply. I often have to initiate a new conversation in Intercom to get an update on an issue they stopped replying to over email. For example, the most recent issue with overdue notifications for recurring tasks was fixed, and I replied to them confirming it was fixed. But I also reported another bug with markdown formatting. No reply. 10 days later, I sent an email to get an update, and one day later, still no reply.Luckily, Nifty works 99% of the time, so I don't have to contact support often. They need to improve their support follow-through and resolve tickets. It is also great how you can integrate and use Google Drive within Nifty so there is no need to attach docs but instead can work within the actual Drive file in Nifty. Document storage, creation, and management is a breeze. Uploading large numbers of files is lightning fast, and document navigation is super easy. Task management has deep capacity. Onboarding has been a snap compared to other platforms. Devs have built in heavy emphasis on real-time communication and collaboration. Support is super responsive. They have a very active development schedule. Nifty will replace Asana, Slack, and Dropbox Paper for us. Cons There is no native print function anywhere. All uploaded files and files created in Nifty have to be downloaded in order to print. This presents companies with an added security issue. In the Files section, pdfs are uploaded as images, so even if you download to print, you just have a png. The Share function for Files only shares to people on your team or onboarded guests. All kinds of system notifications show up in the Discussion streams and there's no way to delete them. The functionality of the Discussions widget is less than the functionality when you click through and expand the Discussions to a full window. So, for instance, you cannot pin a discussion from the widget. " February 21, 2023 5.0 It's been great and the support has been amazing. I keep using it knowing more features will come and that you listen to your users. Pros The options and how you can change settings per project. Cons My biggest issue is partially my fault but also could be something I'm missing. One thing that would make the Kaban layout perfect would be to auto move tasks. If it's "In PRogress" and I check the box, have it automatically move to "In Review" and notify anyone that needs to review it. Instead I have to manually move it over and it never gets checked. I keep NOT using it because I want it to keep moving down the pipline.I keep ending up using note taking apps as thats a huge part of how I work. If there was a way to intergrate with craft.do and even have my note be attatched to different parts that would be great. It is my day to day management tool and makes my life so much easier. I would say is something in between Trello and Asana. It is more much more advanced than Trello but keeping it's simplicity and has pretty much the same features than Asana but with a better UX. Pros You can change views to see your tasks in a Kaban view, task list, milestones, Gannt project view, etc. But the best thing is that you can have a calendar view with all the tasks of the day/week/month. It has a really good UX and a mobile app to manage everything from your phone. It allows you to see either the teams workload or only your workload which can be especially useful for project managers. It also has many collaborative speaces. You can have conversations either at a task level or at the project level. You can share there links, files, resources... and it also has a specific workspace to share files and have all the project files that you need in one space. Cons Overall it has a great UX but there's a few things that could be improved. The calendar view is still a bit basic. I miss having tasks in different colors to prioritise and time-block properly. However, the product has a roadmap and is constantly impoving so I'm sure this is something we will see soon. And since the product greatly evolved in the past, I guess it will be more and more an important player in the PM cloud apps. I still don't know why Nifty is ignored in most of the PM software list on the internet. It is more complete and thorough than most of the software on the list without the cost. Pros I really like this product for his integration of multiple tools, allowing us to work directly in the project. The UX and UI is excellent, they are also implementing new stuff regularly and the guest access is very generous compared to similar tools. I think there's a blog posts that tells us how to use Nifty as a CRM, but I haven't had the time to sit there and get it done. So for now, I'm keeping things in a spreadsheet which isn't ideal. Pros Nifty can manage my group of developers worldwide and in the country, eliminating the need to use many other heavy and clunky services, like Slack, which keeps everything organized and in flow. The Gantt charting helps see the progression of projects moving through the pipeline. Cons Notifications are weak; they still, to this date, do not send email notification updates even though that setting has been turned on. No updates or notifications popped up until I downloaded the iPhone app, which I shouldn't need another phone app to work on a desktop, but somehow, once I downloaded the app, at least notifications started popping up on Chrome Desktop. I must admit that when leaving JIRA aside since it's for a different purpose IMO, nifty is the best among them! It's even that good that internally we don't use teams or slack anymore since it also offers a chat function. Cons Nothing to add here. There's really nothing bad about this software. There used to. When cloning a Milestone you'd only clone the milestone without the tasks associated with it. That problem does not exist anymore and the team has developed such awesome features of which I didn't know I need them. But I do. Every day! As a gantt chart, this works awesome and for project management, documents feature with google docs really helps a lot.
