Support is responsive, its easy to use, easy to integrate with other tools and the collaboration / communication ability has been a game changer. Pros Nifty has been great to use because the learning curve isn't as steep as other tools I've used. Since most of my projects take on the same format, it's been great to make templates of projects to get them off the ground smoothly Cons While the learning curve is not steep I did end up hiring someone for me to get the most out of it. You can view tasks and project in multiple views - from basic tasks lists to calendars to gantt charts. Cons Enter manual time is a bit cumbersome...takes 3-4 clicks. It has powerful features, but doesn't get caught up in too much complexity that it becomes chaotic and hard to navigate. It was easy for our team to understand and learn. Cons Some of the logic for making adjustments to projects can require a few changes, like needing to extend a milestone when a related task has been delayed. This generally keeps us more organized but can feel inflexible at times. They release many new features often, love the team. Pros So easy to collaborate with my team, set automated tasks, follow up with team members all in one place, automate workflows, etc. Cons I wish there was a setting where regular users wouldn't see notifications on other tasks from other people within the same project. I want them to only see their notifications. Also I want a setting that allows them to only see their tasks within a project if I enable it on certain projects. None of them had all the things we wanted and if they did they had MUCH MUCH more than we would want and charged MUCH MUCH more. Nifty has had all the features we were using other services for. Tasks, project milestones, discussion, guest users, channels, integrations to tools we use - particularly git repos have all meet our needs. If you use a free version of trello for project management and are looking for something better without adding way more than you need this is a perfect fit. A super easy import from trello. Took 30 seconds Cons It is a little less developed than other tools out there - still growing. Updates and improvements are made quickly and the nifty team and support are great at listening to feedback. You may want something like zapier to integrate other items. I really loved that the entire editing team could see the advancement of the project in one place and I loved the ease of document storage and sharing. In addition, I loved that I could see the identity of the team members assigned to the project. Cons I was not very confident in the ability of a team member to see my "comments" or notes on a past conversation. In all fairness, I am not sure how the message shows up to the other members, as no one left me a comment on a past comment so I do not know how it is received but it didn't feel very efficient or evident. Engineers were duplicating tasks, QA didn't know what was ready for test, and my fellow department heads had no idea what was being released or when it was being released. Then we got Nifty, and everyone had clear visibility to their tasks, deadlines, and what needed to be done. Department heads and partners could plan releases efficiently. It was like everything just started working like it was supposed to. If you build and ship software. You need Nifty to manage your projects. Cons Sprint velocity needs to be improved a bit, but it is on their road map. However, its current version of tracking user story points is better than Jira.
