I liked the reporting feature and that you could customize the link.

Cons

I wanted to have more than one custom link for the same page to keep track of where traffic was coming from and I couldn't figure out how to do that.

Besides this little tip on what to improve, there's nothing more to say, it's a great app, easy and simple.

Pros

What I liked the most for sure was the facility to shorten and manage the link, honestly there's nothing to complain about, as it is very intuitive.

Cons

What could improve a little is the functionality of the mobile. the only criticism is: it would be good to see more graphics on mobile more easily to be able to manage the links.

My overall experience with Bitly has been positive, it gets the job done for free and helps me use social media more effectively.

Pros

I love that Bitly makes link-shortening easy and free for casual social media posting. It also integrates easily with many of the major social media management platforms.

Cons

Bitly has virtually no customer/technical support for non-paid users, and the prices for their paid services are outrageous.

My overall experience is perfect and I always use Bitly to shorten my links.

Pros

I like the ability to track my links to see how many people clicked on the link. Bitly has a lot of features that support my needs. Also, the interface is very easy for anyone to get started with.

Cons

The free version provides limited features. Also, it doesn't provide the option to change the URL after making it. Analytics of my operations are deleted after 30 days and can't be restored.

I have used Bitly many times to share links quickly. When I need something more advanced and robust, I use other platforms.

Pros

I like that as a user, I don't need any knowledge to shorten a link and be able to measure the clicks. It is very useful to shorten long links and/or to know if who you have passed the link to has reached it.

Cons

It lacks some advanced settings that I have seen in other services. For example, it would be nice if you could do an A/B test with several links and you could configure the criteria (IP, Date, etc) to send the user to one destination or another.

Awesome app with great flexibility for a free account across multiple channels

Pros

Loved the ability to create shortened, custom links for free in the platform. You of course still have to use the bit.ly prefix, but the fact that you can customize the URL after that with a free account is fantastic and incredibly useful.

Cons

Wish the ability to edit links was a bit easier. I understand why they make that a difficult process – to avoid any significant/fraudulent issues, but if you make a mistake on a previous link it's a pain to go back quickly and make an adjustment and usually you just have to make a new one.

Overall it is a wonderful website to short URL in a quick time.

Pros

I am using bitly when there was not much competition in the market, I can say that is a wonderful tool to short URLs even it provides a comprehensive insight of click that I liked about this tool. Like it helps me to how many users click on the URL not only this it provides segment-wise analysis like device, location, time and more.

Cons

I don't have anything that i least like about bitly.

We primarily use Bitly to customize links for our recruitment ads so that candidates can EASILY remember the URL if, for some reason, they don't 'click' on it right away OR if we use the Bitly link in an ad that is other than electronic, for example: print - ads, fliers, brochures, etc... It works great for us!

Pros

I really like how simple it is to customize links using this software and platform. I also like how it keeps track of my previously created links and allows for easy copying to utilize in recruitment ads that we publish.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about this software. In fact, I like it so much that I haven't shopped to see what other similar platforms offer. We are happy with Bitly.

Despite there are other options out there, I still use bitly. It's easy to use, and it's free. I love it much, and it helps. The good point also, it's already familiar for people, hence people are not worried to click on the link, Compared to other similar service provider, linktr.ee which I mentioned before.

Pros

1\. It shortens the link without much hassle 2. You have the data when and how many times your link is clicked 3. It's FREE! You can have almost all features without paying 4. You can customize the address (as long as it's not taken yet)

Cons

It's only single link per address. Recently, there is a similar service provider that can have options to access similar webs by clicking only on one address.

Reason for choosing Bitly

1\. Bitly has passed the test of time 2. People are familiar with bit.ly. I use bitly for my referral link. Funny facts are, when I changed it to linktr.ee (a similar service provider), the number of click dropped massively.

Pros

Super easy to use, no software download needed, just paste the long link into the homepage and click enter to get the shortened version.

Cons

Pros

i like most in bitly is ease of use, that we can easly shorten links even without sign in, this is big relief sometimes.

Cons

i like least is that if we need to scale professionally and upgrade to paid plan its quiet expensive for small businesses, i dont have doubt that big and enterprise level businesses can afford
