Customer service has been great as well. Pros The system is easy to use, customer service has been fantastic, they are quick to respond and if they don’t know they answer they will find it for you and get back to you promptly. The skill section is easy to set up and parent can navigate it easily to check their children’s progress, it’s easy for staff to enter skills as well. Cons The registration form can be trick/long for parents to fill out. Having to have last names of instructors posted to activate them once they are inactive. Having to do a 2 step process to pay for tuition if registering through the form. December 3, 2024 5.0 JR has brought my company from revenue in the tens of thousands each year to double and triple that since 2021 when we started. I've been over the moon about it. It's head and shoulders above the other competitors in this market, in my opinion. Others might have a product that looks similar, but don't be fooled! You will come to appreciate the customer service in those moments when you are stuck or something's not working. Stick with JR!!! Take it from me! Pros The customer service team is absolutely incredible. Their response times are truly amazing. There have been times that the message on their website said they were after hours or out of office, and yet, I'll get a message from someone who says, hey, I saw your inquiry and wanted to get back to you. Now that's above and beyond! Another thing that is great is all the research and reporting they provide, such as the yearly Benchmark reports for the swim industry. Super useful. Cons I sometimes feel like the upgrades are not the things that we are asking for - the entire dashboard overhaul for example. We were looking and wanting lots more things that seem higher priority for the users. But that said, they do have an amazing upvote program for things that you want to see added. Still, some big overhauls seem like users weren't asking for that. A better way to do private lessons has been needed for a long time, but is just now being implemented this year. I will now have to learn something new during my downtime. Pros The program does much more than I can even use. I have found it very easy to get in touch with help if necessary. I also like the payment portal, which is handled by your recommendations. Cons One of the things I dislike is the fact they have a price that changes as more students enter your school. We are a small school, which is only opened five months per year. Even though students may come in in May and not leave until August or September, they may come back to do a lesson or two in October November before we close. If I have to put the family into the lead file, I no longer have access to use their credit card for payment. The numbers should potentially double before the price goes up. Review Source NG Nia G. Cons Some things like gift cards, promo codes, and the new calendar view are difficult to work with. Especially when it comes to promo codes and gift cards, the process can definitely use some automations. December 4, 2024 5.0 I have been using Jackrabbit for three years now, and I like many things about it. Some features need to be explored, but the help service is fantastic. The new Calendar and the addition of appointments are also going to be great features. Pros I like that changes and improvements are always made to reflect users' needs. The help forums are varied and easily accessible. Response times are great! Cons The check-out cart only allows one swimmer to be processed at a time. This can make it challenging when end users cannot return to find a class for another child and add it to the cart. This issue may not apply to all users, as some families reported that they did not have trouble with that step. The other challenge is when we use the links to our website for schedule previews; the format is not great when you offer many classes. I am sure there is a workaround, and that is the next investigation! They respond with useful information and solutions. The upgrades that come out periodically really improve the program. Pros The display of classes by week, day, room, instructor, class type, etc. It makes scheduling so easy. Self check in is also amazing. The staff portal gives our coaches access to the information they need. Cons We were hopeful that the "appointment" upgrade would allow us to schedule administrative tasks but it doesn't. It is simple for staff and parents to use the portal. We use it for family registration, enrollment, staff hours, reports for backend office, and managing our daily classes. Pros I like the color schedule grid for classes and then separating them into different income categories. Helps with reports and finding classes that bring the most revenue in. Otherwise I would at least explore other options. Pros It does all of the basic functions needed to run my swim program. Cons The system is difficult to navigate, requires too many clicks to accomplish a task - for example, just to vie the calendar at a particular location it requires multiple steps to access the calendar, change criteria, click the location, click enter before the location calendar comes up. I also wish the layout was more user friendly and straightforward. I think learning the program and even navigating certain things like user reports is a labyrinth. Whenever we have an issue and we reach out to support, we get an immediate response. Cons Support does not work with swim team management. The California Law chip reader is also not applicable. Cons I wish there was more customizability in terms of being able to mark an individual class date as cancelled or impacted in some way, to better keep track of incidents and see this information at a glance on the calendar. But I would prefer being able to collect information and data on our clients to better serve them. Pros I like classic user interface used for Jackrabbit. Jack rabbit is also good for scheduling classes and allowing self check in. Cons I don't like like the new UI changes. I also dislike the lack of data tracking within jackrabbit. I like the scheduleing however I wish I could see my weekly schedule more easily. I still use a spreadsheet in addition to Jackrabbit so I can see my students names laid out more clearly. Pros I like its organization. However a small swim school, trying to schedule private classes and make up classes I have to get creative on how to schedule those using the system sometimes. I do a lot of "dropping of classes" Cons its more geared toward larger businesses. Also, I wish there was a way I could also account for cash flow not just CC processing.
