Any time I hear about an update I worry, because they roll them out too quickly and there have been many issues with updates not making our businesss easier- but rather harder. Pros Its pretty good with many features & myself and my staff are comfortable using it. The customer service is great. Cons There have been many significant rollouts/updates over the last few years that come too fast/too many close together, and that have been released before glitches were found. There have been times when these "updates" have cost my buisness money. I also do not like that they ask for ideas or feedback, but do not incorporate them. For the time I requested more in depth help, I should have simply been referred to my tax professional for more accurate info. Pros I like the student/family enrollment and payment features. It helps me monitor class sizes and accounts receivables. Cons I don't like that I can't edit the date for enrolling a student in a class. It's taken a little time for us to get the hang of things that our old program did not have, but we have a lot more options to expand in different areas now with it. Pros The functionality and software capapilities was what sold us on the product. You can do so many things with this program and we love what we have learned so far. Cons Having a different set up for Training Time(Open Gyms) and Camps other than setting up an event is one thing we miss about our previous software. We do not want to have to create a class for summer camps and we hold weekly training times for our members and non members. We offer a discounted rate for our members so we have had to do seperate events for each group and it does make things hectic. We also wish there was an option for Promotion codes or discount codes. Pros It is easy to use as a coach in terms of clocking in and out and taking attendance. It meets most of our needs and is somewhat straightforward. I like that it is easy to connect to a person associated with the business when help is needed. Cons It's not very intuitive and many of the features fall short of ideal. When issues or suggestions are presented to support staff they are often acknowledged and agreed upon but not actually addressed. The idea portal alone shows how much room for improvement there is, and the fact that some ideas have been voted on hundreds of times and years ago shows that improvements are made slowly if at all. Pros Billing and payments are easy. Class management and enrollment is also easy. I like that I can track my enrollment/ drops/ etc Cons I hate that the tax reports are hard to find. Everytime I try to run sales tax, I'm struggling to find what I need. I also think the online customer registration system needs major updates. Parents don't have time to shift through lists and lists of classes and then fill out a massive form. It's just too much info and I am limited to make my website patent friendly because the jack rabbit interface isn't parent friendly (we are talking about first time customers primarily not the parent portal). When I look at what iclass offers for first time registration and class lists- that is the only I think of switching. But Jackrabbit is easy for me to use (except for taxes). Our experience has been great thus far with the product and the technical support we receive. Pros Class Management features, payments, website integration, Zapier integration Cons Lack of additional mobile friendly options to provide customer with access via mobile devices. Integration options with third party applications (Jackrabbit is increasingly adding more options which is great). It would be great to provide a way to track service requests from customers inside Jackrabitt, requests for make-ups, transfers, cancellations,with email or text integration. Jackrabbit works really well overall for our business. Pros We love all of the user-friendly features in jackrabbit. It makes it easy for us to help our customers and for them to take control of their own accounts in many ways. Cons We are really struggling with the current options to integrate texting. Pros I have used many software programs over the last 38 years. Once I made the decision to move to Jackrabbit in 2005 our lives changed. The transition from our previous software was flawless. The use of this software continues to be flawless today. It is a great feeling to awake each morning knowing Jackrabbit has been working for us all night. Seeing our new registrations and payments brings a smile to our faces. This software makes our clients happy and my staff very comfortable with such a trustworthy program. Thank you for helping our industry Cons There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the 2005 versions. There were however functionally’s we felt could improve the software and jackrabbit has listened to its client suggestions and incorporated them. March 10, 2022 5.0 Pros Most impactful: Create classes, viewing each class, online registration for administrators and clients are easy! Cons I feel that their should be a way to let the computer system know when we will be closed for classes, so it prorates new clients class enrollments. Currently, we are closed one week in March, and the admins are having to edit the discounts if we "catch" the enrollments in time. Least like: INPUTTED ABSENCES. There should be an easier way to input absences for classes without having to click 10 times to get where to input. We spend a lot of money on printing out roll sheets DAILEY, because the system is too hard and complicated for our coaches to quickly input electronically their students absences on Jackrabbit. After each day, we load up on the coaches class roll sheets and have to manually enter each children absence for 40+ class everyday. Review Source RS Robyn S. It is too difficult to add customers to this when they come in to just jump and pay. There is not enough time to add every paying customer walking into our door to just jump. This would help with advertising events if emails were in here. It is easier to explain over the phone. Also, I would love to be able to use your software in other areas, but my time is limited on having the time to learn it and to put it to action. We love have it organizes all the families information. I can access phone number, emergency contacts at anytime. Super easy online registration.Learning how to use Jackrabbit, was easy for the most part. But it has great “help” options when you run into something a bit more difficult. Cons I don’t have many complaints, other then, I wish that when I set up the columns on what I want to see on like on the all family page, that the columns would stay that way every time I went to the all families page (or all student page, or all classes page) their are some items on the columns that I don’t need to see every time, or if at all. This has made life so much easier. It is much easier keeping up with skills and it is nice that parents are able to see as well. Cons The software can be kind of hard to look at. It is not very aesthetically pleasing and oftentimes the words are very small. It would be helpful to update the system to be a bit more aesthetically pleasing to help find things on the software. There are so many features of the software that make our daily life much more enjoyable that if we had to do manually or with several different products our life would be miserable.
