It is, generally speaking, a very competent one stop software for 90% or more of what you might need. Cons Very option heavy UI takes a good while to learn, and isn't very intuitive. Calendar integration and options are very lack luster, to the point that we don't use the jackrabbit calendar at all. Integration with Gsuite or Apple Calendar would be a godsend for this software - preferably without using Zapier Review Source LV Lisa V. Everything I need to track is all in one place. Cons I set up texting with Twilio which is separate but loved the connection and capability and then it kicked me out and haven’t been able to reinstate the service. This system met those needs and more. The finance structure was easy to set up and is a great way to keep everything in one place to track what each family owes. Cons When families are paying for something, they have to go through so many steps to process their payment, it can become confusing and in some cases, the payment does not process because of incomplete steps. I have never been discouraged, and every time I don't know how to do something, I have always reached out for help and gotten help right away! Pros I inherited the jackrabbit software when I started this job 1 1/2 years ago. I have had to figure it out as I go along and I always have a lot of help available to me whenever I need it via chat or phone call. The guy in the office before me was trying to switch to another software company, but I talked my boss into letting me stay with Jackrabbit because I really like it. I like how it is evolving and how I can keep track of my hours and tuition payments. I like how easy it is to get a list of emails or addresses, how easy it is to create a statement for a parent. Cons I wouldn't say that there are aspects that are difficult to use, I think the worst thing (which really isn't a bad thing) is that there is so much that can be done with the software and I just sort of jumped into an ocean when I started this job instead of starting out on the edge of the water and easing myself in! Reason for choosing Jackrabbit Gymnastics Because I didn't want to learn a whole new software, because I like the look of the jackrabbit parent portal, because I wasn't sure I would get the same level of customer service. Pros This software is user friendly, has great updates that come out because JackRabbit listens to what its users are interested in improvement wise. Also, they have excellent Live Help features to ask questions and get help as issues may arise. Cons The attendance cannot be marked here on role taking. You can only mark a student absent. Our clients are appreciative of the availability of the Parent Portal. The number of unpaid accounts at the end of the month has decreased significantly. New clients like the fact that registration is now paperless, and so do we. Our coaching staff likes getting notifications of new student enrollment, student drops, or student transfers. Our communication with rec. class parents has improved because of the email feature and the Parent Portal. Overall, implementing Jackrabbit has been a positive experience. Pros Jackrabbit is relatively easy to use and provides both written and video instruction for software features to help new users. The Jackrabbit team took all our client information from our old system and imported it to our new Jackrabbit system which made getting started much easier. I like being able to email clients both individually and as part of a mass email blast. The Parent Portal is great; our parents love it. Cons Personally I am a keyboard shortcut user, so the fact that I have been unable to find any keyboard shortcuts to navigate the software has been the biggest obstacle for me since I dislike the extra time it takes for me to stop using the keyboard; grab the mouse; find the correct drop-down or other window, box, or icon; click it; then go back to the keyboard to continue/finish the task. Customers can be billed and charged easily, attendance can be taken and employee hours can be track with a few clicks of a button. Cons I have to admit I do not have a lot of experience using different systems to compare Jackrabbit to. Cons Occasionally we look for a feature within the software that we wish existed to help sync how JR relates to both the running of our gym and how we operate with customers. Their best practices helped to model our business procedures. They are always there for you to help you through questions and needs. Pros \- Customer service and Technical help are FANTASTIC. They will do everything to help you. - They hear their customers, and they keep improving the software with the ideas and suggestions of all of us. - It has most of the features that I need to manage my school. - It is very flexible and works through settings that let you adjust it to your needs and preferences. - Price is fair. Cons As I keep growing I need few features that Jackrabbit has not incorporated yet, like gift cards administration, a more robust management of the Leads, be able to load more pictures to the students records, although I would not be surprised these features will be added later, as I know they evaluate all our suggestions of changes and use them to improve the software. Reason for choosing Jackrabbit Gymnastics They answered faster than the other product I was evaluating and what they showed me it was what I needed. Also, the parent portal is great! Cons Event enrollment. I would love if a customer could automatically sign up for multiple days. We use events for day camp and some students sign up for everyday all summer and it becomes annoying for either parents or our staff to have to enter them on each day. I admit that I might not know everything JackRabbit has to offer but all in all, I think JackRabbit does a great job for our business. Pros I like that I am able to put most of the information that our company has in regards to our services in one place. Cons With the volume of the things we have, it can be overwhelming to navigate quickly when we need to find something. I wish there were more automated services. We had less than 100 gymnasts so we felt we could manage without JR. After getting JR a few years ago, I am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. The amount of time and money it has saved us is amazing. Pros Ease of use and access to data and reports help us to keep things organized and see what we are doing well, or need to do better. Great price for what you get! Cons Sorting data in the reports can be hard to manage sometimes. Would like a notification when there is an opening for a class that has a waitlisted member.
