No support and nobody to help with it's major flaws and issues. Avoid at all costs. Pros Not found a single pro yet for this absolutely useless app and website. Cons Won't let you add a card to pay. Won't let you pay an invoice as it wants you to add a payment card which it won't let you do. No way to just pay an invoice like every other website. Sends threatening emails charging more for not paying an invoice which it won't let you pay. No way of contacting support, asking a question or getting help. Suspect they don't even have anyone. Generic FAQs on website that don't answer anything. My daughter is missing competitions as cannot pay for them and nobody cares. I gather this is a feature set by the team, but my "team" ends up charging the users $10 per transaction of $200, so the cost per year of payments is quite high. Couple that with the lacking UX, user design experience, I would never subject people to the use of this software. Pros I do not like this software at all. Having the billing and the team roster in one place is good, but otherwise, the cost for the users is too high. Cons I cannot use the platform online through a web browser on the computer, a PC, or a MAC through a browser, at all. I cannot add a card, I can not make a payment, and I cannot un-enroll for auto pay, from a browser on a computer. I must use the mobile platform for all these things. Pros Everything is very straight forward in TeamUnify. What you see is what you get. Cons The software was not able to do all the things we needed it to so we had to find creative ways to make the software work for us. Switched from [iClassPro](https://www.capterra.com/p/127097/iClassPro/) We were looking to get our Swim School under the same umbrella as our competitive team, with the intent to make the user experience more seamless as kids transitioned from one platform to another. Pros Some areas of the software are very easy to use, and it was easy to deploy and start using. The support team are excellent and reply promptly, and there is a significant amount of documentation available. The lessons system works well and has many useful features. Cons There are some key features missing, or existing features aren't quite there. Custom domains are supported but simply act as a redirect, and only support http. This isn't great for SEO, and it's not really up to date - there are very few websites these days that do not support https. Attendance works, but is cumbersome to use and there is no centralised way to view attendance. Members can only be assigned to a single squad, which drastically limits the squad structures that can be represented in the software. The website colours are limited to a selection of set themes, which means our colour does not exactly match that of our club brand. Our representative is so helpful and responds very fast so we're not down any longer than need be. Pros Just being able to set everything up so parents are responsible for registration, meets, and all fees is worth the price of the software. Cons It took some training and a few phone calls to get it all figured out and set up and while most parents were good at figuring everything out and understanding how to navigate their way around, some were not that good. Additionally, having all our info in one place was a huge plus! Cons It was very difficult to set up. They gave you a website with the software and you couldn't utilize your own. It was also very difficult to manipulate the software. The charges were automatic and there wasn't an easy way to verify the charges beforehand. We had problem after problem and finally switched to another software company. Pros First and foremost I loved that the program came with the support of a knowledgeable team of people who were there with me from the very beginning of transferring and inputing all my data, to even now a year later when I need assistance. We switched to this program bc of the communication outlets it provided for our team and our parents. Cons Learning a new system is never easy. As I'm getting familiar with it, my dislikes are slowly fading. I do wish there were more opportunities for staff. When I first started using it, it was great to be able to learn how to use/manage a feature using the HELP tab and watching the tutorials. Pros We use Team Unify for our YMCA swim team, and it has helped us save so much time in managing our swimmer accounts, creating and sending emails, scheduling events, recruiting volunteers, and more! The best thing so far about using TU is that this past year, we had NO OUTSTANDING BALANCES! Thanks to the monthly billing feature, we were able to get all money owed to us. Cons Initially, I was turned off by the fee to use Team Unify. There are a lot of features on TU, many of which I have not had time to explore. I suppose that if we used more of the features, the price might not seem so outrageous, but not having any outstanding balances is a nice plus!
