We manage a large and diverse range of assets, from everyday equipment and tools to construction equipment and live performance assets, and itemit has made the whole process much easier to manage. One of the things that stands out most for us is the UI and overall user experience. The interface feels clean, modern and intuitive without being overloaded with unnecessary complexity. Even with a large variety of assets, it is easy to navigate, find the information we need and understand where things are. This has also made it much easier to introduce the system to different people across the company. You don't need much training to understand how to use it, whether you're checking an asset, scanning a QR code or simply looking up equipment information. Overall, it feels like a well thought-out product that makes asset management feel much less complicated than it actually is. Pros We are a fairly large company with a wide range of equipment and assets across different areas of the business. Our inventory isn't limited to standard office equipment plus that we also deal with live performance and event equipment, technical gear, tools, and occasionally construction-related assets. One of the things we like most about itemit is that it is flexible enough to handle all of these without making the system overly complicated as UI/UX is probably the most important factor when handling large data for tracking acitivities. We can organise assets into different categories, attach the information that matters to each item, and use QR codes to quickly identify and update equipment. Cons Nothing significant so far. For the way we use itemit, it has handled our needs very well, especially considering the variety of equipment we manage across different parts of the business. The platform has been straightforward to use and we haven't encountered any major limitations that have affected our day-to-day operations given also that the itemit team has been very supportive and improve the feature frequently. It's been amazing and I have had no issues! I love knowing where everything is. Pros It's still just as easy to check items out and to be able to see what is in or out and the condition. That's the aspect that impresses me most is the after sales support Pros The simplicity and ease of use. This is important as it is used by a wide variety of people, each with different needs for the system and this is by far the easiest to solve all of those problems in one package. Pros You can use it on a desktop, laptop, mobile phone and tablet Entirely web based Intuitive to use Can store documents related to the items being recorded Scanning is so easy to both add items and to move them between locations or book them out. Customisable data fields. Email reminders are automatically sent out for service schedules etc Unlimited end users so everyone can see our assets and book them Ability to restrict certain types of equipment to certain groups of people Cons The main page for an item can be a bit busy as all details are displayed on one page. It would be nice to break that up a bit with the ability to change colours or contrast to make blocks of data pop out a bit more. Pros It is straight forward to use and all localised so my team do not have to go digging for information that can be lost or worse spread out over multiple spreadsheets! Cons Cost per license. Pros After creating an asset list in itemit, we added bespoke QR codes to each of these assets, now we just scan the codes to book out to staff for the tasks they have to complete.
