The support team have been excellent from the early stages when we were assessing a number of providers, through a trial period to help the evaluation process right through to training and feedback from the teams using the software. That's the aspect that impresses me most is the after sales support

Pros

The simplicity and ease of use. Also the metal barcode tags are really good too as many of the items we need to track are long and frequently have an oil based coating on them and the stick on labels aren't really ideal for

Cons

We don't use the full functionality of the software but what we use is ideal for us

Overall experience is positive and has changed how we manage our assets for the better.

Pros

The level of customisation is significant for our use and unmatched by other available products. Itemit are also great at taking onboard feedback and actioning.

Cons

The information visible for each user type isn't customisable, but it would be a great improvement if it were.

It's a doddle to use - importing data is easy, adding items is easy, structuring assets by location/type etc is easy and reporting is easy. This is important as it is used by a wide variety of people, each with different needs for the system and this is by far the easiest to solve all of those problems in one package.

Pros

You can use it on a desktop, laptop, mobile phone and tablet Entirely web based Intuitive to use Can store documents related to the items being recorded Scanning is so easy to both add items and to move them between locations or book them out. Customisable data fields. Email reminders are automatically sent out for service schedules etc Unlimited end users so everyone can see our assets and book them Ability to restrict certain types of equipment to certain groups of people

Cons

The main page for an item can be a bit busy as all details are displayed on one page. It would be nice to break that up a bit with the ability to change colours or contrast to make blocks of data pop out a bit more.

Itemit has effectively streamlined our entire hardware management process which used to be a manually updated spreadsheet.

Pros

It is straight forward to use and all localised so my team do not have to go digging for information that can be lost or worse spread out over multiple spreadsheets!

Cons

Cost per license. I wish I could add as many users as I needed.

Great overall experience with itemit when compared to other products.

Pros

After creating an asset list in itemit, we added bespoke QR codes to each of these assets, now we just scan the codes to book out to staff for the tasks they have to complete.

Cons

We had some small niggles with the old app, however the last update cured this.

Itemit has been straight forward and easy to use. Nothing overly frustrating in any manner for the last 2ish years we have been using it.

Pros

Interface is very easy to use and customize for any kind of labelling or tagging we need that wasn't available right out of the box. Customer support has been very helpful even with the time zone difference - we're located in US Eastern. The QR Code stickers we use to help track our devices have been very useful as well to not only find out which of our users have a specific device, it also helps us find out how long it has been since its last scan. Adding the details to an Item's profile is straight forward and easy to do. It's also great when working with others on our infrastructure support team on management side to so who last worked with any of the Items and follow up with anything needed for it or general status check.

Cons

I would like to have some more control options when managing our account on the payment side. We received reminders of the upcoming auto-renewal, but when trying to follow the links the email notification provided, it doesn't seem to work properly. It sends us to the log in page, but after logging in, it just sends us to the home page rather than the account settings to check or update our info. I also would like to have received the documentation for renewal earlier than the actual renewal date so that we can process everything on our end, such as checking the pricing and getting approvals.

Fantastic from start to finish. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been amazing from the demo through to product support. Would recommend.

Pros

Simple to use and to import items from old system. Simple scanning of QR codes from tags purchased. Easily identify items on different sites. Reporting function to report on current assets, those that need replacing and current values. Scaleable across multi sites.

Cons

None. No issues or drawbacks found so far.

It has improved planning and resource allocation, the interface is simple and easy to adopt.

Pros

Really simple to use - it has helped enormously in being able to track and manage our work equipment. Being able to export reports is also helpful.

Cons

We have not yet found a way to overcome human error - people removing items from store without checking it out on itemit. That's more a company culture issues than anything to do with itemit.

Pros

The ease of tagging items, the report section has lots of options to drill down to find what you need. The website is easy to use.

Cons

Pros

Its intuitive use, being able to see the location of where an item was last checked in/out, and the ability to upload user guides to the items.

Cons

System glitches, e.g. items checked in via the app don't update on the web version and vise versa.

### "Replacing our Spreadsheets"

Positive - not really had chance to use it much as we're still in crossover period, but envisage us relying on it for our calibrated equipment pretty heavily

Support in making this product work for our needs was really good

Cons

Upload en-masse of existing certification for specific inventory could have been a lot smoother rather than having to upload everything individually

Great overall I have had very little issues, many areas to imput data and pictures

Pros

Simple and easy to use in the field. Great visibility on app. We should never loose one of our sensors again!!

Cons

GPRS locations slightly different depending if i'm using my phone or tablet to deploy the device

Great software solution to what used to be a spreadsheet in our organisation. Easy to update and track assets globally as well as export reports.

Pros

I like how it simplifies asset management with features like QR code and RFID tagging, cloud-based tracking, and an easy-to-use interface. It’s great for businesses that need real-time asset visibility without complicated setups.

Cons

Paying per user has limited our use of the system. I have had to share log in accounts between my team which clouds the paper trail when looking at the history on items. i.e who made certain changes, assignments etc. Appreciate this is a me problem and would not be the case if we had paid log ins for each user.

Myself and a senior colleague are very impressed with the product and the support. We appreciate your patience whilst we work on implementing these changes to our asset tracking capability, and very much hope that we will be able to partner with ItemIt in the near future.

Pros

We have not had a straightforward requirement due to the complex process of implementing changes to our systems. The \[sensitive content hidden\] and the rest of the ItemIt team have been incredibly knowledgeable and supportive and really going the extra mile to find a solution for us and demonstrate that it works.

Cons

Initially there was no way to mute a very loud beeping sound from the scanner during scans which was becoming a distraction to other staff. I really appreciate that this was resolved for us with a new feature introduction following my feedback.
