Pros

What I've loved is that is a marketplace platform ready-to-go, with all requirements to offer a complete multi vendor ecommerce.

Cons

What I liked least is that in order to have some features it is needed to buy a third party plugin.

My overall experience is SUPERB. I would recommend without hesitation. The price is fair, customer service is fantastic and the software is solid. What more can you ask?...

Pros

CS-Cart is totally flexible and open source, they literally have hundreds of useful and beneficial add ons. Customer service is fantastic, I had a issue and they replied back within an hour or so. Major PRO is that they haven’t just designed the software and left it, there actually constantly upgrading, adding addons etc.

Cons

Thinking what is a negative for this software, nothing comes into my head.

Overall a great product and we will use again for our next project. Just have to get support from 3rd party contractors which there are plenty of.

Pros

CS-Cart is full of features and can be fully customisable which is what we want. For a multi-vendor platform we found it to be worth the money. There is also plenty of options for developers who can assist in building out the features and providing additional support.

Cons

Support is slow and usually not helpful.

Everything is in your control. You have access to all files and you can change every single things. There are a lot of ready made add-ons as well as so many developers to work with.

Cons

Theme! Although there are a lot of themes in the market, but i think cscart needs more works on it's look.

Pros

We have been using CS-Cart Multi Vendor for the past 6 months to launch our new marketplace. It offers the most control of any marketplace software out there! You can do anything you need in CS-Cart with the right amount of effort.

Cons

There are no specific cons except to know you will need to customize it. There's no such thing as a perfect out of the box system for a unique marketplace. You will get out of it what you invest into it.

Pros

Excellent software with superb customer service. Highly recommended for anyone who looking for multivendor e-commerce software . Their support team is one of the best. I have tried quite a few different e-commerce softwares but I come back here every time.

Cons

This software is great but must have/need more third party addons like "Color swatches" "highlight the sizes" like in chinese website Aliexpress

The only functionality missing for us with CS-Cart multi-vendor (but also not found in any other package) is the possibility of having different storefronts for our marketplace using the same database, because our marketplace will operate in different countries with different government systems and languages.

Pros

After trying many eCommerce packages to build a solid platform to launch an online marketplace, I can tell you CS-Cart was the best option we found. Its functionalities, features, and stability make it a unique product.

Cons

for us the only functionality missing (but also not found in any other package) is the possibility of having different storefronts with the same database in multi-vendor, because our marketplace will operate in different countries with different government systems, currencies, and languages.

Pros

I find it really very interesting to be able to manage the prices and the stock of all the sellers. Among the favorable points of the platform you can see a super optimized code that makes the platform really very fast.

Cons

for now I have not found any faults, the platform is constantly updated and new very interesting features are being developed

nothing it all sucks ui sucked u cant even add credit, only gift cards,

all it sucked what i least like, is you can add account credit for a client so e can use his account balance like whmcs

As for vendor account balance, in Multi-Vendor vendors can view their account balance to track all payouts and commissions taken by the store administrator. Sellers can also review the income and expenditure statistics: total and per period. You can also use reward points, gift certificates and create multilevel promotions with 21 conditions and 9 bonuses at your choice. P.S. Pros

Product is very customizable and it's quite easy to adapt it to your needs. The Multi-Vendor feature-set is great for any kind of public marketplace.

Cons

It takes time to get to know the platform in depth (but that's normal considering the feature-richness and customization options. Some parts of the Administration UX could be better. More flexible role-based access control would be usefull.

i have been using this product for my multi vendor store www.lehbazaar.com which will be on full scale function by 2019. since i brought it there was couple of upgrades to make the functionality smooth and easy to manage. i love to use it with different templates with some extra add on you can make your online shop as good as amazon flipkart with an affordable cost.

easy to use and fast with nos script errors. functionality is perfect ,

expensive add on and some add on are not as good quality

Pros

What we really did liked about CS-Cart Multi Vendor is its simplicity. We really liked how things are getting done by the script and we were able to run our new marketplace in very short period of time.

Cons

The Third-Party add-on are very limited, and we really do hope that CS-Cart Multi Vendor will got more interest by developers.

Overall much better than expected. It allowed us to get started with our Global Multi vendor market place within 2 months and got very good feedback on our website. The many available add-ons allow you to expand the solution in almost any domain.

Pros

CS-Cart brings an extensive set of functionalities.

Cons

It requires a decent amount of technical know-how to set-up and to configure the solution. Also setting up global shipping methods was rather complex. Further improved security for administrative logins would be very desirable.

Overall (once the sting of the initial purchase stopped) I started to enjoy the software. It's feature-rich and mobile capable. Support has been good and the update videos keep me up to speed on new developments. The forums are also a good resource.

Pros

The CS helped me set-up and install the software quickly. The config was easy and all connections with 3rd parties worked out of the box.

Cons

The documentation around shipping wasn't great. It also lacks a few integrations with new 4pl providers (EasyShip). Overall the software is good however the pricing is pretty high compared to PHPProbid. To balance that CS-Cart doesn't use GMV % to calculate an ongoing licence fee which means it might be cheaper in the long-term but it doesn't really help small businesses that are trying to validate their business model or bootstrap a project on the smell of an oily rag.

Reason for choosing CS-Cart Multi-Vendor

Looks like it has a longer future than Geocore and it also has an app that was attractive.
