CS cart probably the only software that focus on a complete multi vendor e-commerce platforms. The best and cheapest way to create an online market.

Pros

High quality platform for low price but with interface similar to big and expensive platforms! It have almost everything we looked for. The best thing about CS cart is you can customize it as wish!

Cons

Nothing that we could point out. Since the platform is highly customizable you could solve any "issue" you might face.

We wanted to implement a marketplace but didnt have the time, the money or the skills to develop it, so we used CS Cart and were able to test our business hipotesis in very short period of time

Pros

Very easy to use. Big marketplace of plugins to add more functionality like SEO optimization or IP geolocation

Cons

You have to pay separatly for the mobile app

I'm still building it and the lack of onboarding lowers your motivation to work on your project (especially if it is side project like me).

Pros

A lot of functionnalities are native You can do a lot of things The software suits a lot of business models

Cons

Thus there a plenty of videos, you actually need more technical skills than we thought to handle and exploit the software to do what you exactly want The customer support is not always flexible, sometimes you feel a bit lost Lacks of a good project onboarding, once you buy it, you feel lonely trying to get help

Reason for choosing CS-Cart Multi-Vendor

The one time payment and the fact that you own your platform instead of the model of all others solutions we considered.

It is a good complete package with a lot of tools to set up a professional marketplace type web store. It comes with a lot of inclusions, and was the best choice for me to use with little assistance.

Cons

There are some frustrating features missing, and the support is lacking
