It should be a part to put shipment detail such as product, route, transit time etc... Look and feel is not up to date with todays standards (fe. every change needs a confirmation, rather then simple editing and so on).Thit extend the time needed to create an offer. Implementation of changes/bug fixes is slow, if any (some bugs are pushed by the developer as a feature). The overall idea of this service is great but the outcome is far from good. The software seems like a early beta. Was a little hard at first to learn, but after was very smooth. Support team were great Pros It is very simple and flexible at the same time. You can add and maintain data for various locations which is a plus. You can pre-fix charges, but amend them at the same time Cons Adding of new data can be a little bit manual. Except one point: it's not possible to create one/1 LCL-quotation reflecting multiple pieces with one or more destinations. Example: 1 up to 10 pallets from location 'x' up to POL 'y', shipping to destination 'z' => 10 different fob-values + the oceanfreight (w/m) per destination in this case 10 quotations would have to be done, which is neither user-friendly nor handy for the customer receiving 10 quotations. I can cite only benefits of using Quotiss ( time-efficient / comfort/ control data base, margin, general contracts etc.) Highly recommended. You get easy access to all offers prepared by your sales team. You see their daily activity per each client etc. Pros Simple tool for every day quoting in forwarding ( seafreight ) business. Easy to implement and use. Universal platform to manage ocean freight rates from multiply ocean carriers as well as thousands of offers sent out to the clients. Easy for everyday rates updates. Additionaly you get statistics and overview of activity in your sales team. Reliable and user friendly tool. Quotiss team is very open for any suggestions and comments so at the end you get tailor made machine for quoting to your seafreight clients. Much more efficient then our own CRM based quoting tool. Cons I don't have comparison with other platforms dedicated for seafreight quotations. I wish Quotiss was our in-house tool fully integrated with our CRM. Review Source Artur S. Pros Quotiss is a modern system that allowed us to significantly speed up the quotation. It is also very flexible for a specific project so that we can personalize the system for our needs. Work in Quotiss is efficient and the introduction of new users does not require many long trainings.
