Pros: I enjoy the amount of control that it gives us to modify and assist our clients as they're getting used to the program. The backend access and the ability to walk through changes with the client has been particularly helpful. Along with that, being able to build a system that we know will benefit our clients from scratch is helpful.

Cons: It's a little bit of a challenge to get to know the system while having to work with the clients and help them get to know it simultaneously, but that comes with the transition.

Very helpful with streamlining and processing information for clients.

Pros: The ability to work across several programs and have a layout that is consistent, but also being able to customize certain functions when needed. The functionality of the software makes it easy to communicate with customers and point them in the right direction so that their information can be entered correctly and processed efficiently.

Cons: Sometimes there are minor technical issues. However, they are never big problems and are usually corrected in a timely manner.

Overall: The ability to work efficiently with clients.

There are things that work well with these systems, but there are still a lot of problems.

Pros: Security is good. We can pull reports. It tracks modifications to records and is very useful for auditing. It fulfills its purpose of allowing grant reporting and tracking over many organizations.

Cons: A lot of things feel hidden and are not intuitive in the back-end. You basically have to learn things on your own. Changes to one portal affect things in other portals. Roll-out of new portal changes/updates/new functionality almost never goes smoothly and the clients are negatively impacted. This seems to happen even when much time has been spent on testing before the deployment. We don't always know when a change to one thing will impact other things and sometimes inadvertently cause problems for one client because of updates for another client. There have been quite a few problems with bad data. And I get the impression that things do not function very well in the portals for customer organizations that have poor internet connections.

Overall: We are able to track grants over many organizations. All of the information is in one place for any potential audits. We can fairly easily pull much of the information that we need for reports to clients or for federal reporting.

All experiences have been very positive and the developer (Melaina Bell) is very responsive.

Pros: I like that it can be customized based on the needs of individual programs and allows for all communication/management to be housed in one place for a central point of access.

Cons: There are some aspects that do not seem intuitive to those who have never used systems like this before causing a lot questions and confusions around some processes.

Overall: We are able to direct our clients to this product generating business for us and creating ease around the way we manage our client's programs.
