Very positive. Over the years, different leaders at my organization have asked about exploring different voting options, and as the staff member who administers and executes the elections, I am always a proponent of continuing to use AssociationVoting!

Pros

Great customer service and fast responses if I needed assistance. Great UI for members to use for their voting needs. I also really like the voting report to use to track member engagement year over year. Great built-in features to replicate past elections to keep the settings the same.

Cons

Not many cons. There is a little learning curve but AssociationVoting staff are so responsive it's very easy to troubleshoot.

### "Best Value and Quality Voting Softeware"

Overall the AssociationVoting system was easy to set up and it has user-friendly interfaces that keeps track of the voting.

Pros

For the most part, the learning curve on the AssociationVoting software was relatively short. Customer Support was quick and accurate whenever we needed guidance. After evaluating 21 different eVoting software packages, AssociationVoting proved to be the best value for our money. The system allows for customization of the login procedure through a user-friendly table, which is one of the biggest advantages we found compared to the competition. This feature enabled us to guarantee one vote per household (per our bylaws), even though multiple email accounts exist within each household.

Cons

The terminology used for “campaigns” took a little time to understand at first, and I had to contact Customer Support to fully grasp how this feature worked. In this system, a campaign simply refers to scheduled voter reminder emails that are automatically sent at specific points during the voting window (for example, at the beginning, middle, and end of the voting period). If this feature were titled “Scheduled Voter Reminder Emails,” I believe it would have been more self-explanatory and easier to understand.

Ability to have a single login from a household, regardless of the number of emails in that household. This is critical for us because our votes are based on household not individuals. We did NOT want to have the households choose upofront which emails to use. In addition, this ability allowed us to export our community directory into the system without eliminiting emails.

Perfect! Being new to my job and orchestrating my first association voting could not have gone any easier.

Pros

Staff!! very helpful to a first time user. It was very self explanatory and a great value for the money. Customers found the online voting easy, and so glad I did not have to deal with paper ballots. Would definitely use them every year for our association.

Cons

Nothing, they performed with professionalism and courtesy. I do not know anything I requested they did not deliver explain.

Again, I don't have experience with other platforms, other than as a voter for another membership association I'm a member of. I think my experience as a staff member who helps manage the election has been a bit mixed. I don't think it's a difficult platform, but I can see how it might be challenging for others to manage, which is something I think about as we work toward transitioning election management to a volunteer member committee. I'm not opposed to keeping AssociationVoting as our platform for another year or so.

Pros

For context, AssociationVoting is the only election management tool I've used, so I don't have much experience or insight with other platforms to have a strong opinion. I will say, as a staff member who inherited this platform from a past administrator with no instructions, it is a self-teachable tool. This year, we ended up in a strange situation where two elections were needed. The customer service line was great. The representative was super helpful and explained things clearly, walking me through what was needed to hold two elections. The process wasn't ideal, but the representative provided friendly and quality service.

Cons

I mentioned that the platform is self-teachable, but it's not intuitive. The guides are very wordy, and I think more visual prompts would be helpful. For example, there are so many prompts for personalized language, but it's not always clear where a user will see the prompt and how it would appear on their screen. It requires extra time to create test voter profiles just to see how things appear on the voter's end.

Association voting is a no brainer to use if you're an association and want to make sure that people don't worry about leadership relationships with people on a ballot and the outcome.

Pros

I love how Association Voting enabled us to remove any possible conflicts of interest in running our association election by having all of the votes coming from the 3rd party.

Cons

There really were no cons - the team was flexible to all of the needs that we had in setting things up so it would run smoothly and seamlessly.

I have worked with a number of IT services and found the support from AssociationVoting to be the best I have experienced. They reached out to me on a weekend when it was not an urgent question. Their product was easy to use and worked flawlessly.

Pros

Their customer support was outstanding. Questions were almost always answered on the same day. The product was very easy to use and made running our election very efficient. I will use them for any election I have in the future.

Cons

I was completely satisfied with my experience with AssociationVoting. I really have no recommendations for improvement other than keep up the great work.

We've been using Association Voting since 2019 and it's been a great tool for managing our national and chapter elections. It's priced very reasonably and tech support has always been great - responsive and helpful.

Pros

Easy to use, and manages our national and chapter elections with the security and integrity needed to conduct valid, tamper-free elections. Admin user guides provided are clear providing step-by-step instructions. Campaign set up is easy and reminder emails can be scheduled.

Cons

Admin interface/menus can be confusing at times as some of the menus aren't intuitive, but after using for several elections now we find it easy to navigate.

Overall I give it an 8 out of 10- have tried several platforms over the years but AV is far superior.

Pros

ease of use- it is really easy to use. Specifically, I like that I can I send reminders only to the people who have not voited

Cons

Tech support- I had a really bad experience with someone named ernesto or something like that. He obviously did not read my emails.

We like the certification of the vote. We would love to make the emails more recognizable as coming from our company to avoid the voters missing or ignoring them.

We liked the reporting and easy access of the website.

Cons

The name of the emails confused our voters, so many of them ignored the ballot. We ended up getting a lot of requests for paper ballots.

So far, this helps a lot. The voting is very easy. It is my second time to vote. I am very happy that I have learned how to set my election.

Pros

It is secure, and you can have a system-generated report. You can set a weight of vote which is necessary for the associations. I have not checked other voting platforms, but this is tailor fit for the associations, unlike the traditional settings of google forms.

Cons

Well, I can have one election only per license. Perhaps, they can set a validity period like 30 days. In case the election did not pushed through and the association needs to have special election after a number of days, you have to renew the license. Moreover, for voting on separate groups, you can only have one link for that. Like in my case, I have a residential and a commercial group voting separately. Since the two groups are included in one link regardless of number of pages, anyone who has credentials can vote through the link even on the other group since they can see that. I hope the voting to another group can be disabled.

Overall - I like that the program is constantly being upgraded to add new features. There is a learning curve to the process and if the community voting is complex, that can be confusing. I find that the AV staff is responsive and willing to assist. We have been pleased with the software and have used it for over 5 years for approximately 8 elections per year for communities of varying size.

Pros

The bulk email feature is easy to use and allows targeted emails to those who did not vote yet, eliminating repetitious emails to those who submitted their proxy immediately. The proxy feature allows us to add multiple candidates to a single position to meet the slates need for the HOA. Quorum monitor allows for a quick glance status.

Cons

The set up can be a little confusing for new employees on our team and those who are not very tech savvy. That said, the help features are easy to use and I have found new features added frequently.

I appreciate the quick responses and knowledge provided by support staff at Association Voting. Any and all questions that I have brought to them have been fully addressed in a professional and approachable manner. Hope F. has been amazing!

Pros

We recently added the Live Election feature, and it has so far streamlined the process well. I appreciate that it forces you to clone the election results in the My Elections section so that step isn't accidentally missed.

Cons

The scroll function (especially on the My Elections page) and maximize/minimize of the menu pane are often slow to respond or glitchy. Also, a lot of the instructional videos are blurry, and the AI voice makes it hard to follow.

It provides a seamless voting process. The easy user interface also makes voting as easy as it is for a teenager same for an elderly person.

Pros

It makes it easy to vote and it is available for free. It is also actually easy to add eligible voters through the emailing system. The customers service also answers users questions that might pop up doing the process.

Cons

Some of its features are not easily customizable but apart from that it’s use has been seamless with no hiccup or negative experience.

Pros

Simple interface to work with. I have used it to conduct polls digitally and achieved a credible result. No glitch at all while using it.

Cons

Its been a great software, i have no regret using it so no cons.

During the past several years having Association Voting manage our elections and special voting needs has truly been a partnership. Their team stays in touch with us, ensuring early readiness and being thoroughly prepared to promptly execute our elections!

Pros

Working with Association Voting to manage our annual elections, as well as for other special voting needs, is consistently made easy by the attentive professional support of their outstanding team!

Cons

I suppose what I like least is the cost. However, with the outstanding support team, I won't complain at all about the return on the investment!
