Pros AutoCad is a very good CAD software because it is user friendly and it delivers quality graphics that encourage creativity, and it has a lot of features that can be added on and manipulated, which makes it a perfect Draughting tool for Architects old and new. Cons It took me too long to get a hang of everything, but truth be told, whatever I learned stayed with me because it was easy to apply, I feel it has a lot of features that need to be learnt first before everything is clearer. I used to use autocad on a weekly basis, so it took me a few months to get a hold of it. But when I finally learned how to use it as a professional, from my point of view today, this is one of the best programs I ever had on my Windows. Pros It's a very good program where you can use shortcuts to get the work done faster and easier. A thing that I liked the most is it's functionality. As a designer or architect you can buy yourself time by finishing some complicated task in 2 hours which would take you without this little ''gadget'' around 8 hours. Cons The only thing it lacks is tutorial, at least the version I have, I am not sure about the latest one. But you can easily find tutorials from beginner to expert on you tube. So, no worries. Cons The options for editing dimentions needs to be simpler and quicker as its interference seems to get a little confusing and complicated sometimes. It’s easy to learn as a beginner and has so many options and functionalities that I still am learning . Pros I have always been a fan of AutoCAD. I love how easy it is to customize and I find that it glitches only rarely. I think it’s quite intuitive. Cons I don’t like the way AutoCAD handles hatches.
